Burnley VS Chelsea

The Premier League returns with a Turf Moor clash between Burnley and Chelsea! Burnley suffered a disappointing 3-2 loss away at West Ham before the International Break, and they currently sit 17th in the table! When it comes to Chelsea, they breezed past Wolves (3-0) last time out, and they currently find themselves third in the league! In their previous 16 meetings, Burnley have only won once (3-2 in 2017) whilst Chelsea have won 10 times! For Burnley, they’d very much take a point from this game! The Clarets are ranked 10th in GPG (1.3), but they currently have the third-worst defensive record in the league (2.0 GCPG)! As for Chelsea, they should win this game! The Blues are ranked 2nd in GPG (1.9), and they currently have the third-best away record in the league!

My Prediction: 1-1

 


Bournemouth VS West Ham

Bournemouth got smashed 4-0 by Aston Villa two weeks ago, and they currently sit 9th in the table! When it comes to West Ham, they picked up an important 3-2 win over Burnley last time out, but they do still currently find themselves inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th)! In their previous 17 meetings, Bournemouth have won 4 times whilst West Ham have won 6 times! For AFC Bournemouth, they need to bounce back here! The Cherries are ranked 7th in GPG (1.5), and they currently have the third-best home record in the league! As for West Ham United, they’re looking at making it 3-straight victories! The Hammers are ranked 13th in GPG (1.2), but 19th in GCPG (2.1)!

Brighton VS Brentford

Brighton drew nil-nil away at rivals Crystal Palace before the International Break, and they currently find themselves in 11th place! When it comes to Brentford, they picked up a strong 3-1 win over Newcastle last time out, and they currently sit 12th in the table! In their previous 18 meetings, Brighton have won 8 games compared to 5 wins for Brentford! For Brighton and Hove Albion, they need to take advantage of being the home team! The Seagulls are ranked 7th in GPG (1.5), and they’re currently on an 8-game unbeaten run at the AMEX (4W,4D)! As for Brentford, they’ll fancy themselves here! The Bees are also ranked 7th in GPG (1.5), but they currently only have the 14th-best away record in the league!

Fulham VS Sunderland

When it comes to Sunderland, they scored late in a 2-all draw against Arsenal last time out, and they currently find themselves all the way up in 4th! In their previous 14 meetings, Fulham have won 5 games whilst Sunderland have won 4! For Fulham, they need to win this game! The Cottagers are ranked 15th in GPG (1.1), and they currently have the 11th-best home record in the league! As for Sunderland AFC, this is another good opportunity for them to pick up even more points! The Black Cats are ranked 10th in GPG (1.3), and they currently have the 4th-best defensive record in the league (0.9 GCPG)!

Liverpool VS Nottingham Forest

When it comes to Nottingham Forest, they picked up a crucial 3-1 victory over Leeds last time out, but they do still currently find themselves inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th)! Wolves VS Crystal Palace

Rob Edwards returns to the Molineux as he welcomes Crystal Palace for his first game as Wolves Manager! Wolves comfortably lost 3-0 at Chelsea last time out, and they currently find themselves bottom of the league! When it comes to Crystal Palace, they could only draw 0-0 at home against Brighton two weeks ago, and they currently occupy 10th spot! In their previous 17 meetings, Wolves have won 5 times whilst Palace have won double that! For Wolverhampton Wanderers, they need to start off strong! Wolves are ranked 20th in both GPG (0.7) and GCPG (2.3)! As for Crystal Palace, they will be disappointed with anything other than all 3 points come Saturday evening! Newcastle welcome Manchester City to St. James’ Park for a potential history-making Saturday Night Football for Erling Haaland! Newcastle suffered a disappointing 3-1 loss away at Brentford last time out, and they currently sit 14th in the table! When it comes to Manchester City, they put out a statement victory over Liverpool 2 weeks ago, and they currently find themselves second in the league! In their previous 33 meetings, Newcastle have only won 3 games compared to 26 wins for Man City! For Newcastle United, they need to start winning more football matches! The Magpies are ranked 17th in GPG (1.0), and they currently have the 9th-best away record in the league (1.3 GCPG)! As for Manchester City, this is another big test for them! When it comes to Aston Villa, they blasted 4 past Bournemouth last time out, and they currently find themselves up in 6th! Arsenal conceded late in a 2-all draw away at Sunderland two weeks ago, but they do still currently find themselves top of the league! When it comes to Tottenham, they could only draw 2-2 with Manchester United last time out, and they currently sit 5th in the table! In their previous 34 meetings, Arsenal have won 16 games compared to Spurs’ 10! For Arsenal, they'll expect themselves to win this game! The Gunners are ranked 3rd in GPG (1.8), and they currently have the best defensive record in the league (0.5 GCPG)! As for Tottenham Hotspur, they’ll be well up for this! Spurs are ranked 4th in GPG (1.7), and they currently have the best defensive record in the league!

When it comes to Everton, they beat Fulham 2-0 last time out, and they currently sit 13th in the table! United are ranked 4th in GPG (1.7), and they currently have the 7th-best home record in the league! As for Everton, they need to try and find some better consistency!
