Fulham 4-5 Manchester City

Erling Haaland became the fastest player to 100 Premier League Goals as Manchester City narrowly held on against Fulham in a 9-goal thriller at Craven Cottage! After hitting the inside of the post early on, in the 17th minute, Erling Haaland smashed home his 100th Premier League goal in just 111 games to give Manchester City the lead! In the 37th minute, Tijjani Reijnders made it 2-0 to Man City before Phil Foden fired in a third just before half-time! However, in additional time at the end of the first half, Fulham were at least able to get one back through Emile Smith Rowe! Just 3 minutes into the second half, though, and Foden netted his second goal of the game before a Sander Berge own goal meant it was 5-1 to City after just 54 minutes! In the 57th minute, Fulham had a goal back thanks to a great strike from Alex Iwobi, before Erling Haaland struck the post for a second time! In the 72nd minute, Samuel Chukwueze fired home to get Fulham another goal back, before just 6 minutes later, Chukwueze scored again to give us the 9th goal of the game! Joshua King then had a chance to equalise right at the death, but his effort was brilliantly cleared off the line by Josko Gvardiol! In the end, if this game doesn’t sum Fulham up, I don’t know what will! The Cottagers stay 15th in the table, and they host Crystal Palace next time out! As for Manchester City, they just about managed to hang on here! City remain second in the league, and their next game is an interesting one as they host Sunderland tomorrow!
Brighton 3-4 Aston Villa

Despite being 2-0 down, Aston Villa managed to come from behind to beat Brighton and Hove Albion in a 7-goal thriller! After some poor goalkeeping by Marco Bizot, Brighton had the lead inside 9 minutes courtesy of Han Paul van Hecke! In the 29th minute, Brighton had a second thanks to a fortunate Pau Torres own goal, but Aston Villa were able to get one back 8 minutes later through Ollie Watkins! In the 7th minute of additional time at the end of the first half, Villa were back on level terms as Watkins scored again, before Amadou Onana completed the comeback with a 60th-minute header! Despite a great initial save by Bart Verbruggen, Donyell Malen was able to scrape the ball over the line to make it 4-2 to Villa, before van Hecke scored again to at least get one back for the hosts! And then, right at the death, Marco Bizot made up for his earlier mistake with a terrific reflex save to deny Danny Welbeck an equalising goal! In the end, this is a pretty disappointing result for Brighton and Hove Albion when you consider the position that they were in! The Seagulls drop to 7th in the table, and they host West Ham next time out! As for Aston Villa, they just keep on winning! Villa rise to third in the league, and they host Arsenal tomorrow in what could be a pretty critical game in the early phases of the Title Race!
Leeds 3-1 Chelsea

Leeds United earned themselves a massive 3 points to leave Chelsea humbled! After just 6 minutes, Leeds had the lead as Jake Bijol scored his first goal in white courtesy of a bullet header! Pascal Struijk then had an unbelievable chance to make it 2-0, but he couldn’t guide his headed effort on target, before Leeds had a second just before halftime thanks to a smashing strike by Ao Tanaka! In the second half, Lukas Nmecha had a good opportunity to score, but he could only place his effort straight at Robert Sanchez, before Chelsea did have a goal back in the 50th minute through Pedro Neto! Cole Palmer then had a great chance to equalise on his return to action, but he missed the target completely, before Leeds had their 2-goal lead restored by none other than Dominic Calvert-Lewin! Honestly, what on earth was Tosin Adarabioyo thinking?! Overall, this is a massive win for Leeds United and Daniel Farke! The Whites rise out of the Relegation Zone (into 17th), and their next game is at home to Liverpool in tomorrow’s Saturday Night Football! As for Chelsea, this is a terrible result! The Blues drop to 4th in the league, and they head to Bournemouth next time out!
Newcastle 2-2 Tottenham

An incredible stoppage-time equaliser from Cristian Romero earned Tottenham Hotspur an important point at the expense of a frustrated Newcastle United! Joelinton came close to giving Newcastle the lead in the first half; his effort came back out off the post, before Lucas Bergvall came super close to giving Tottenham the lead just a couple of minutes later! In the second half, Guglielmo Vicario made a decent save to keep Harvey Barnes’ effort out, before Kevin Danso pulled out a strong goal-line block to deny Nick Woltemade! In the 71st minute, we finally had the first goal of the game as Bruno Guimaraes finished expertly to give Newcastle the lead! However, just 7 minutes later, we were back on level terms as Cristian Romero headed home after a great ball in from Mohammed Kudus! Newcastle were then gifted a penalty after a coming together between Dan Burn and Rodrigo Bentancur, and I’m sorry, but there’s no way that this was worse than the Ruben Dias incident at Newcastle a couple of weeks ago (which wasn’t given as a penalty)! Anyway, Anthony Gordon then stepped up and scored to give Newcastle the lead back, but it wouldn’t last, as in the 95th minute, Cristian Romero somehow managed to score from an overhead kick to salvage a point for Spurs! In the end, Newcastle United didn’t get away with one this time! The Magpies rise to 12th in the table, and they host Burnley next time out! As for Tottenham Hotspur, that late goal could help them a lot! Spurs now find themselves in 11th spot, and their next game is a really important one at home against Brentford tomorrow!
Arsenal 2-0 Brentford

After just 11 minutes, Arsenal already had the lead as Mikel Merino headed home well to continue his goal-scoring form! Caoimhin Kelleher then made an important save to stop Noni Madueke from doubling Arsenal’s lead, before David Raya pulled off a wonderful save to tip Kevin Schade’s headed effort onto the crossbar! In the second half, Kelleher showed his quality with multiple strong saves to keep Brentford in the game, but Arsenal would finally get their second goal as Bukayo Saka scored in the 91st minute to seal all 3 points for the hosts! Overall, it’s another win for Arsenal! The Gunners remain top of the league, and they head to Aston Villa tomorrow for what is arguably their biggest game of the season! As for Brentford, at least they weren’t thrashed! The Bees drop to 13th in the table, and they head to Tottenham to take on their old boss Thomas Frank next time out!
Liverpool 1-1 Sunderland

An own goal was all that could save Liverpool from another defeat as Sunderland’s impressive season continued! Alisson just about managed to tip Trai Hume’s long-ranged strike onto the crossbar, before Alexis Mac Allister saw his headed effort clip the outside of the post! In the second half, Omar Alderete came ridiculously close to scoring as his headed effort struck the post and went wide, before Sunderland did finally have the lead in the 67th minute as Chemsdine Talbi’s effort flew in following a big deflection off Virgil van Dijk! In the 81st minute, Liverpool managed to get themselves back on level terms courtesy of a Nordi Mukiele own goal, before Federico Chiesa pulled off a huge defensive clearance to stop Wilson Isidor from nicking it at the end! In the end, Liverpool should be thankful that they managed to get anything from this game! The Reds drop to 9th in the table, and they head to Leeds next time out! As for Sunderland AFC, the fact that we’re saying that they may be disappointed with only a point away at Anfield tells you everything you need to know! The Black Cats remain in 6th place, and their next game is a big one tomorrow away at Manchester City!
Manchester United 1-1 West Ham

Alphonse Areola made an important save to tip Bryan Mbeumo’s crossed effort over the crossbar (it was very much bending in), before Aaron Wan-Bissaka cleared Joshua Zirkzee’s effort off the line! In the 58th minute, Manchester United finally had the lead as Diogo Dalot finished well, before West Ham were back on level terms in the 83rd minute courtesy of Soungoutou Magassa! Bruno Fernandes then had a couple of decent opportunities to win it for Manchester United in stoppage time, but he couldn’t find the target with either effort! In the end, it’s another frustrating result for Manchester United! United drop to 8th in the table, and their next game is away at Wolves on Monday Night Football! As for West Ham United, this is a positive point for them! However, The Hammers do now drop back into the Relegation Zone (in 18th), and they head to Brighton next time out!
Wolves 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest picked up a massive 3 points in their Relegation battle as Wolverhampton Wanderers sank even further below the rest! Dan Ndoye probably could’ve given Nottingham Forest the lead early on, but he missed the ball completely, before Igor Jesus thought he’d given Forest the lead inside 38 minutes, only for his goal to be ruled out for an offside against Ndoye! Early in the second half, Wolves had a golden opportunity to take the lead through Jhon Arias, but the Colombian somehow managed to miss the target from just a couple of yards out! He has to score here! Sam Johnstone then made a decent save to deny Neco Williams’ free-kick effort, before Nottingham Forest finally had the lead in the 72nd minute as Igor Jesus scored a legal goal after a poor bit of goalkeeping by Johnstone! Honestly! In the end, it’s yet another defeat without scoring a goal for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves easily remain bottom of the league, and their next game is at home to Manchester United on Monday Night Football! As for Nottingham Forest, this is an important win for them! Forest stay 16th in the table, and they head to Everton next time out!
Burnley 0-1 Crystal Palace

Martin Dubravka made a decent save to keep Jean-Philippe Mateta’s early effort out, before Dean Henderson made his own decent save to deny Jaidon Anthony! In the 44th minute, it was Crystal Palace who found themselves in front as Daniel Munoz headed home after a great pass from Marc Guehi! In the second half, Dubravka managed to pull out a really good save to deny Mateta once again, before Henderson made a wonderful save to push Jacob Bruun Larsen’s bullet effort onto the crossbar! Burnley then came close again right at the end of the game, but Chris Richards was there to clear the ball away just before it crossed the line! In the end, it’s yet another tough loss for Burnley to take! The Clarets remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th), and they face Newcastle tomorrow! As for Crystal Palace, they’ll very much take the 3 points from this game and run! The Eagles rise back into the Top 5, and they head to Fulham next time out!
Bournemouth 0-1 Everton

Jordan Pickford made a decent save early on to keep Antoine Semenyo’s effort out, before Alex Scott managed to head the ball onto his own crossbar! Eli Junior Kroupi then thought he’d given Bournemouth the lead, but his goal was rightly ruled out for offside, before Djordje Petrovic made a key save to deny Thierno Barry early in the second half! And then, in the 78th minute, Everton had their winning goal as Jack Grealish scored a crucial goal thanks to a very helpful deflection off Bafode Diakite! In the end, it’s another poor result for AFC Bournemouth! The Cherries drop to 14th in the league, and they host Chelsea tomorrow in what is sort of a must-win game for them! As for Everton, this is a great result for them! The Toffees lift themselves into the Top Half of the table, and they host Nottingham Forest next time out!
