After a chaotic Sprint Race earlier in the day, the teams and drivers had to refocus to set the Grid for Sunday’s main Grand Prix!

Q1
In Qualifying 1, Nico Hulkenberg, Fernando Alonso, Pierre Gasly, Lance Stroll, and Oliver Bearman were the five slowest drivers! Nico Hulkenberg was pretty close to making it into Q2, but not quite close enough whilst Fernando Alonso could only manage 17th! Pierre Gasly had a bit of a shocker to end up P18, ahead of the other Aston Martin of Lance Stroll, whilst Oliver Bearman was once again last after another woeful Qualifying effort! It was Max Verstappen who topped Q1, less than a tenth clear of Lando Norris’ McLaren!

Q2
In Qualifying 2, Isack Hadjar, Lewis Hamilton, Gabriel Bortoleto, Jack Doohan, and Liam Lawson all failed to make it into the Top 10 shootout! Isack Hadjar was very unlucky to miss out on Q3 by just 2 hundredths of a second whilst Lewis Hamilton followed up his Sprint Podium from earlier in the day with a disappointing Q2 exit! Gabriel Bortoleto did a good job to get his Kick Sauber into P13, ahead of Jack Doohan who did well to outqualify his Alpine teammate, and it was Liam Lawson who ended up slowest in the second part of Qualifying after again being off the pace! Oscar Piastri smashed Q2 to top the times, a couple tenths ahead of his teammate in a McLaren 1-2!

Q3
In Qualifying 3, a 1:26.204 was enough for Max Verstappen to take back-to-back Grand Prix Pole Positions! I will run out of superlatives to describe Max Verstappen soon, he is absolutely unbelievable, and this was another terrific Pole lap for the Dutchman! Lando Norris will start second for McLaren after pipping Andrea Kimi Antonelli by just 2 thousandths of a second, and it was a disappointing final session for Oscar Piastri who managed to go a tenth slower than his excellent Q2 time! George Russell will start 5th in the other Mercedes after struggling for pace all weekend long whilst Williams had a terrific day, with Carlos Sainz heading Alex Albon! Charles Leclerc’s difficult day continued as he could only manage 8th for Ferrari, ahead of Esteban Ocon who did a terrific job to get his Haas up into P9, whilst Yuki Tsunoda will start 10th after once again being a mile off his teammate!
