SQ1

In Sprint Qualifying 1, Lance Stroll, Jack Doohan, Yuki Tsunoda, Gabriel Bortoleto, and Oliver Bearman were the five slowest drivers! Lance Stroll hit way too much traffic on his final run which cost him the chance to improve whilst Jack Doohan was furious with his team after an error in the pitlane cost him the chance to do a final lap! Yuki Tsunoda also failed to reach the line meaning he will start in a pretty terrible P18, ahead of the Kick Sauber of Gabriel Bortoleto, whilst Oliver Bearman was slowest after a really poor outing! It was a Mercedes 1-2 in SQ1, with George Russell heading teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli!

SQ2

In Sprint Qualifying 2, Nico Hulkenberg, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, Liam Lawson, and Carlos Sainz all failed to make it into the Top 10 shootout! Nico Hulkenberg did a really good job to get his Kick Sauber up in P11, ahead of the Haas of Esteban Ocon, whilst Pierre Gasly could only manage P13 after hitting the wall! Liam Lawson wasn’t too happy with P14 for Racing Bulls whilst Carlos Sainz will be very disappointed with the mistake he made on his one and only flying lap! It was Lando Norris who topped Q2, over a tenth clear of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull!

SQ3

In Sprint Qualifying 3, a 1:26.482 was enough for Andrea Kimi Antonelli to take a historic maiden Sprint Pole! Kimi Antonelli came out of nowhere in this session, but what a sensational lap from him, it’s safe to say that Kimi is already a star! Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris were close behind in a McLaren 2-3, ahead of Max Verstappen, whilst George Russell probably did his one and only lap too early given he ended up 3 tenths off his Mercedes teammate! Ferrari could only manage 6th and 7th, with Charles Leclerc ahead of Lewis Hamilton, whilst Alex Albon did a fantastic job to put his Williams best of the rest! Isack Hadjar also had a strong showing in the pink Racing Bulls whilst Fernando Alonso did well to get his Aston Martin into SQ3, even though his final run was a little disappointing!
