One of the trickiest, warmest, and most crucial Qualifying Sessions of the season took place under the lights of the Marina Bay Street Circuit to set the grid for tomorrow’s Singapore Grand Prix!

Q1

In Qualifying 1, Gabriel Bortoleto, Lance Stroll, Franco Colapinto, Esteban Ocon, and Pierre Gasly were the five slowest drivers! Gabriel Bortoleto will be disappointed to see his Qualifying streak over his teammate end, whilst Lance Stroll will be very disappointed with a Q1 exit after making both a mistake and seeing other drivers (potentially) drive too quickly through a yellow flag zone! Franco Colapinto also got knocked out of Q1 for that very same reason, still doing an okay job, though, whilst Esteban Ocon’s Qualifying woes continued! Pierre Gasly ended up slowest in Qualifying, but that was mostly because his car gave out on him! Lewis Hamilton topped Q1 for Ferrari, a couple of tenths clear of former teammate George Russell!

Q2

In Qualifying 2, Nico Hulkenberg, Alex Albon, Carlos Sainz, Liam Lawson, and Yuki Tsunoda all failed to make it into the Top 10 shootout! Nico Hulkenberg pulled out his best Qualifying performance in a while to miss out on a Q3 spot by just 65 thousandths of a second, whilst Williams struggled for pace, with Alex Albon barely ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz! Liam Lawson’s difficult weekend continued as he could only manage P14, whilst Yuki Tsunoda ended up slowest in Q2, some 8 tenths back from his teammate! Speaking of his teammate, Max Verstappen was second fastest in Q2; just 1 hundredth of a second slower than Russell’s Mercedes!

Q3

In Qualifying 3, a blistering 1:29.158 was enough for George Russell to take a masterful Pole Position around the streets of Singapore! Singapore hasn’t always been that kind to George, but today, he was on another level! Max Verstappen was very annoyed at Qualifying 2nd, still ahead of Championship leader Oscar Piastri, though, whilst Andrea Kimi Antonelli made it back-to-back positive Qualifying’s! Lando Norris won’t be happy with P5 in his McLaren, whilst Ferrari lacked any sort of real pace, with Lewis Hamilton beating Charles Leclerc to 6th! Isack Hadjar will actually be disappointing that he’s only 8th after making a mistake on his final flying lap, whilst both Oliver Bearman and Fernando Alonso did well to get their cars into Q3!
