After 3 weeks away, the Premier League returns with the reigning Champions, Arsenal, hosting Leeds! Arsenal got stunned 3-0 by Brighton before the International Break, and they currently find themselves second in the league! When it comes to Leeds, they drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace last time out, and they currently sit 5th in the table! In their previous 13 meetings, Arsenal have won 11 games, whilst the other two results have ended in a draw! In fact, you’d have to go all the way back to 2003 for the last time that Leeds won in this fixture! For Arsenal, they will expect themselves to bounce back! The Gunners are ranked 6th in GPG (1.6), and they’re currently on a 6-game winning home run! As for Leeds United, they’d take anything from this game! The Whites are ranked 8th in GPG (1.4), and they currently have the joint-best defensive record in the league (0.6 GCPG)!

My Prediction: 1-0

Aston Villa VS Brentford

When it comes to Brentford, they thumped Chelsea 3-0 last time out, and they currently find themselves 4th in the league! In their previous 18 meetings, Villa have 4 wins in comparison to Brentford’s 6! For Aston Villa, they need their momentum to carry on! Villa are ranked 17th in GPG (0.8), and they currently have the third-worst home record in the league! As for Brentford, they’ll fancy their chances in this game! The Bees are ranked 3rd in GPG (2.0), and they’re currently on a 9-game winless run in all competitions (4W,5D)!

My Prediction: 1-1

Chelsea suffered a terrible 3-0 defeat away at Brentford 3 weeks ago, and they currently find themselves 10th in the league! When it comes to Bournemouth, they lost 1-0 at home to Liverpool last time out, and they currently sit 17th in the table! In their previous 20 meetings, Chelsea have won 55% of the time, whilst Bournemouth have won 20% of the time! Funnily enough, each of the last three meetings between these two sides has ended as a draw! For Chelsea, they need to win this game! The Blues are ranked 3rd in GPG (2.0), but they’ve only managed to pick up 1 point from their last 3 league games! As for AFC Bournemouth, they need to get a win on the board! The Cherries are ranked 11th in GPG (1.2), and they’re currently on a 7-game winless league run (5D,2L)!

My Prediction: 2-2

The Cottagers are ranked 16th in GPG (1.0), and they’re currently on a 5-game winless league run (2D,3L)!

My Prediction: 2-1

Sunderland lost 5-3 in a crazy game at Manchester City before the international break, and they currently sit 14th in the table! When it comes to Brighton, they thumped Arsenal 3-0 last time out, and they currently find themselves third in the league! In their previous 3 meetings, Brighton have two wins, whilst you have to go all the way back to 2004 for the last time that Sunderland won in this fixture (in the Championship)! For Sunderland AFC, they could do with a win here! The Black Cats are ranked 11th in GPG (1.2), but 16th in GCPG (2.0)! As for Brighton and Hove Albion, they’re in good form right now! The Seagulls are ranked 1st in GPG (3.2), and they’re currently on a 3-game winning run in all competitions (by an aggregate score of 11-2)!

A pretty massive Saturday Night Football is set to take place as Manchester United host Tottenham in a must-win game for both sides! Manchester United scored late to rescue a point at Fulham 3 weeks ago, and they currently sit 12th in the table! When it comes to Tottenham, they lost again last time out at home against Aston Villa, and they currently find themselves bottom of the league! In their previous 35 meetings, Man United have won 15 games, compared to 12 wins for Spurs! For Manchester United, Michael Carrick needs this win! United are ranked 6th in GPG (1.6), and they’re currently on a 3-game winless run in all competitions (1D,2L)! As for Tottenham Hotspur, they can’t keep failing to win! Spurs are ranked 19th in GPG (0.4), and they’re currently on a 5-game winless run in all competitions (2D,3L)!

My Prediction: 0-0

Crystal Palace VS Nottingham Forest

After a successful stint at the club, Oliver Glasner returns to Selhurst Park as Nottingham Forest take on Crystal Palace! Crystal Palace picked up a decent point away at Leeds before the break, and they currently sit 15th in the table! When it comes to Nottingham Forest, they suffered a terrible 1-0 loss at home to Coventry last time out, and they currently find themselves in 13th place! In their previous 14 meetings, Palace have only won once (away in 2011), whilst Forest have won 5 times! For Crystal Palace, this is a game that they probably should be winning! The Eagles are ranked 11th in GPG (1.2), but they currently have the second-worst home record in the league! As for Nottingham Forest, Glasner will want to win this game badly! Forest are ranked 17th in GPG (0.8), but 7th in GCPG (1.0)!

Manchester City travel to Liverpool for what could be one of the most hostile environments in Premier League history! Liverpool picked up an important 1-0 win away at Bournemouth before the international break, and they currently sit 6th in the table! When it comes to Manchester City, they beat Sunderland 5-3 last time out, and they currently find themselves top of the league! In their previous 42 meetings, Liverpool have won 16 games compared to 13 wins for Man City! For Liverpool, they sort of need to win this game! The Reds are ranked 8th in GPG (1.4), and they’re currently on an 8-game unbeaten run in all competitions (4W,4D)! As for Manchester City, this is going to be an incredible test of character for everyone involved with the club! City are ranked 2nd in GPG (2.6), and they’re currently on a 7-game winning run (in all competitions)!

My Prediction: 2-2

Coventry headed into the long break with a much-needed confidence boost after winning away at Nottingham Forest, but they do still currently find themselves inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th)! When it comes to Newcastle, they beat Hull 2-1 last time out, and they currently sit 9th in the table! The most recent meeting between these two sides saw Newcastle win 4-1 in 2010, whilst Coventry’s last win in this fixture was also 4-1 (but in 1999)! As for Newcastle United, they probably should be winning this game! The Magpies are ranked 5th in GPG (1.8), and they currently have the 10th-best away record in the league!

My Prediction: 1-3
