2026 NFL Week 2 Preview and Predictions: Part 2
(1-0) Cincinnati Bengals @ Houston Texans (0-1)

Two potential AFC Powerhouses face off in Week 2 as the Houston Texans host the Cincinnati Bengals! The Houston Texans lost 36-31 at home against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1, and they currently sit second in the AFC South! As for Cincinnati, they managed to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last time out, and they currently find themselves second in the AFC North! In the end, I will pick Houston to get their first victory of the season here! This is a really difficult one to call, but I think The Bills are a better team than The Bengals, hence why I’ve gone with a Texans win!
(1-0) Jacksonville Jaguars @ Denver Broncos (0-1)

Speaking of two AFC powerhouses, the Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Mile High to take on a wounded Denver Broncos! The Denver Broncos got battered (10-31) by the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, and they currently sit bottom of the AFC West! As for Jacksonville, they breezed past the Cleveland Browns (10-34) last time out, and they currently lead the AFC South (as the only team with a win to their name)! In the end, I’m going to go a little out there and say that The Jags are going to win this game! Personally, I think Monday’s loss was more about The Broncos being worse than expected rather than The Chiefs being better than expected, and I think The Jaguars potentially have something going for them!
(1-0) Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers (0-1)

The Los Angeles Chargers suffered a terrible home defeat to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, and they currently sit third in the AFC West! As for Las Vegas, they started their season with a win over the Miami Dolphins, and they currently find themselves second in the AFC West! In the end, I will back the LA Chargers to get back to winning ways! After last week’s performance, The Chargers simply cannot afford to lose again!
(0-1) Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys (0-1)

The Dallas Cowboys started their season with a disappointing loss to the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC East! As for Washington, they only lost by 2 points in Philadelphia last time out, and they currently sit third in the NFC East! In the end, I rate Dallas higher than I do Washington, so I will pick the hosts to earn their first win of the season! Having said that, The Commanders will come into this game with more confidence than The Cowboys, so that’s something to keep an eye on!
(1-0) Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals (1-0)

The Arizona Cardinals picked up a brilliant win in LA over The Chargers last time out, and they currently find themselves second in the NFC West! As for Seattle, they managed to overcome an injury to their starting Quarterback to still beat the New England Patriots in the 2026 NFL Season Opener, and they currently sit third in the NFC West! In the end, I think The Seahawks’ defense is just too good for The Cardinals to score enough points to win this game! However, at least this game has a little more intrigue on it (after what occurred in Week 1) than it did when the schedules were first released!
(0-1) Miami Dolphins @ San Francisco 49ers (1-0)

Oh jeez! The San Francisco 49ers stunned the entire NFL with a thumping 27-7 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Australia to start the season, and they currently lead the NFC West! As for Miami, they were easily second-best in Las Vegas last time out, and they currently sit bottom of the AFC East! In the end, this should be an easy win for The 49ers! If it’s not, the NFL truly has lost its mind, but based on last week, this could get ugly!
(0-1) Indianapolis Colts @ Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)

The Kansas City Chiefs made a statement to open the season with a 31-10 thumping of the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football, and they currently lead the AFC West! As for Indianapolis, they conceded 41 points at home to the Baltimore Ravens last time out, and they currently sit bottom of the AFC South! In the end, I expect The Chiefs to win this game relatively comfortably! What a terrible start for The Colts!
(1-0) New York Giants @ Los Angeles Rams (0-1)

Week 2’s edition of Monday Night Football sees an “out to prove a point” Los Angeles Rams face off against an upbeat New York Giants! The Los Angeles Rams got shown up by the San Francisco 49ers in Australia in Week 1, and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC West (as the only team without a victory)! As for New York, they picked up a positive win over the Dallas Cowboys on last week’s Sunday Night Football, and they currently lead the NFC East! In the end, I have to pick the LA Rams to win this game! Whilst The Giants proved me right when it came to predicting them to win last week, surely The Rams can’t go 0-2! Surely?!
