2026 NFL Week 5 Preview and Predictions: Part 1
Teams on Their Bye Week:
Kansas City Chiefs (4-0)
Carolina Panthers (2-2)
(0-4) Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Dallas Cowboys (2-2)

Week 5 kicks off with a Thursday Night Football clash between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! The Dallas Cowboys picked up an important win late in Houston last weekend, and they currently sit third in the NFC East! As for Tampa Bay, they lost yet again last time out at home against the Green Bay Packers, and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC South (as the only winless team)! In the end, I would expect Dallas to win this game! The Bucs absolutely suck!
(2-2) Philadelphia Eagles @ Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1)

For once, London should actually get treated to a pretty fun game as the Jacksonville Jaguars return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on the Philadelphia Eagles! The Jacksonville Jaguars put out another statement last weekend with a road win in Cincinnati, and they currently lead the AFC South (as the only team with a winning record)! As for Philadelphia, they blew it against the Los Angeles Rams last time out, and they currently sit second in the NFC East! In the end, I think Jacksonville are going to win in London! Right now, The Jags look to be a much better football team than The Eagles!
(0-4) Houston Texans @ Tennessee Titans (0-4)

2-winless teams face off as both the Houston Texans and the Tennessee Titans need to get on the board! The Tennessee Titans lost 18-24 in Baltimore last weekend, and they currently sit third in the AFC South! As for Houston, they lost late yet again last time out against the Dallas Cowboys, and they currently find themselves bottom of the AFC South! In the end, I do think Houston will win this game! Despite how bad they’ve been, The Texans should still be far better than The Titans!
(2-2) Cincinnati Bengals @ Miami Dolphins (0-4)

The Miami Dolphins lost 15-10 in Minnesota last weekend, and they currently find themselves last in the AFC East (as the only winless team)! As for Cincinnati, they lost at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars last time out, and they currently sit bottom of the AFC North! In the end, The Bengals will win this game! Cincinnati really need to use this game as a confidence booster!
(3-1) Las Vegas Raiders @ New England Patriots (2-2)

One of the best games of the week sees a rejuvenated New England Patriots face a confident Las Vegas Raiders! The New England Patriots picked up a crucial win in Buffalo last weekend, and they currently sit second in the AFC East! As for Las Vegas, they only lost by 3 points to the Kansas City Chiefs last time out, and they currently find themselves second in the AFC West! In the end, I will pick The Patriots to win this game! I think New England found something last week, although Las Vegas shouldn’t be underestimated!
(4-0) Minnesota Vikings @ New Orleans Saints (1-3)

The New Orleans Saints got smashed 45-24 at home by the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night, and they currently sit third in the NFC South! As for Minnesota, they made it 4-wins-from-4 last time out over the Miami Dolphins, and they currently lead the NFC North (as the only unbeaten side)! In the end, Minnesota should be going 5-0 here! I still think Kyler Murray sucks, but The Vikings defense is good enough to hold off The Saints’ offense!
(3-1) Cleveland Browns @ New York Jets (1-3)

The New York Jets lost pretty comfortably in Chicago last time out, and they currently sit third in the AFC East! As for Cleveland, they managed to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4’s edition of Thursday Night Football, and they currently lead (yes, that’s right, lead) the AFC North! In the end, Cleveland are going to win again! The Browns are flying!
(2-2) Indianapolis Colts @ Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2)

The Pittsburgh Steelers lost 24-27 in Cleveland on last week’s Thursday Night Football, and they currently sit third in the AFC North! As for Indianapolis, they comfortably dispatched the Washington Commanders in London last time out, and they currently find themselves second in the AFC South! In the end, I’m going to pick The Colts to win this game! I genuinely could go either way here, but I just think Indianapolis are starting to find their groove!
