Lash Legend VS Nia Jax

After Ava told Hank and Tank not to get involved with tonight’s Main Event, this week’s edition of NXT started with Lash Legend going to war with Nia Jax! This was really good, both women are really good at what they do, they play the powerhouse game better than anyone, and I enjoyed it a lot! The crowd also loved it too, with them thoroughly behind both women, and this could’ve gone either way! Lash attempted to back body slam Nia through the announce table, but Jax was just too heavy for Legend as both women went crashing through a table before Legend tried for a Powerbomb, only for Jax to deliver a massive Annihilator to get the win!

Joe Hendry VS Charlie Dempsey, Josh Briggs Challenges Yoshiki Inamura

DarkState told Kelly Kincaid that they’re going to take their rightful spot in the Main Event before Chelsea Green came to the conclusion that Kendal Grey would be the person that Tavion Heights is bringing to take her out! Because of this, Chelsea put Alba Fyre in a match with Grey! Before any of that, though, Joe Hendry was back competing in an NXT ring as he clashed with Charlie Dempsey! This was a good technical contest; both men are talented amateur wrestlers, and Wren Sinclair was having the time of her life! In fact, it wasn’t clear as to who Wren liked more, whilst the crowd were fully believing in Joe Hendry! Eventually, Joe was able to score a victory with the Standing Ovation, and this was pretty straightforward!

Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan were training together backstage, talking about their aims to become NXT Women’s Champion, before Jaida Parker walked in and said she’s next in line! Josh Briggs was then out next to cut a promo where he talked about Yoshiki Inamura only coming back for himself, and how he cost him the NXT Championship! Briggs said there’s no honour in NXT which is why he’s challenged Inamura to a Philadelphia Street Fight! Yoshiki then arrived, accepted the challenge, and started a brawl which resulted in the Japanese superstar standing tall! This was just there, nothing really to add!

Fatal Influence VS Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan, Alba Fyre VS Kendal Grey

Jordynne Grace said in a sit-down interview that she’s going to show Blake Monroe that anyone can be a Champion before Fatal Influence were once again not getting along! Trick Williams then had no interest in listening to Oba Femi’s locker room speech before Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan teamed up to take on Fatal Influence! Lola and Kelani actually worked quite well as a team; they gelled from the start, and of course, we already know the chemistry between Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley! As always, Jazmyn Nyx wasn’t exactly being any help on the outside, and after Lola nailed Jacy with a vicious backfist, Kelani nailed her “one of a kind” Split-Legged Moonsault to pin the current NXT Women’s and TNA Knockouts World Champion! Impressive!

After Jasper Troy cut a promo explaining why he can’t stand Ricky Saints, Kendal Grey was back wrestling on NXT TV as she went one-on-one with Alba Fyre! I was worried about this match to start with, not because of the action, that was totally solid, but because Alba Fyre never wins anymore, and the idea of her losing here would’ve just been awful! Thankfully, that didn’t happen as Fyre was able to knock off Grey before Ethan Page came out to celebrate The Secret Hervice eliminating Tavion Heights’ pick! However, Tavion then came out to say that Kendal wasn’t his pick, and it was instead revealed to be Tyra Mae Steele, with her suplexing everyone (including All Ego) to close the segment standing tall!

Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Moose VS DarkState

After Ava told Jacy Jayne that she’d be defending her TNA Knockouts World Championship at NXT Heatwave against both Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance, and Chelsea Green told Ethan Page that they needed to sign a treaty, it was Main Event time as NXT’s version of the Fantastic 4 teamed up as Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Moose looked to finally take out the threat known as DarkState! I thought this was great, I had a really enjoyable time watching this match, and it’s because of the “good guy” team! Oba Femi and Moose chucked Trick Williams at DarkState at one point, and Trick seemed to love this so much that he was fist-bumping everyone! Je’Von Evans then went on one of the best hot tag runs I’ve ever seen, Moose had his own great run of just destroying everyone in sight, and this looked like a pretty good damn team! However, it wouldn’t last as after DarkState took out Oba and Moose, they surrounded Je’Von as Trick got onto the apron, only to jump back down, leaving DarkState to score a victory over The Young O.G.! Again, I really enjoyed all of this, I don’t see how NXT could’ve executed this any better!
