Roman Reigns VS Bronson Reed

Clash in Paris 2025 kicked off with Roman Reigns taking on Bronson Reed! This was a good start to the show; there were plenty of good moments, and Bronson Reed looked right at home on a big PLE stage! The crowd added to the action (get used to me saying that in this article), and whilst Bronson did his best, Roman was eventually able to score the win with a Spear! After the match, Reigns reclaimed his shoes before he choked out Paul Heyman in a Guillotine, only for Bron Breakker to deliver a wicked Spear through the announce table! Breakker then hit an even crazier Spear on the outside before Bronson Reed hit 4 TSUNAMI’s whilst Reigns was tied to a stretcher! This was such an effective post-match segment; Bron and Bronson looked incredible here, and they also beat up Jey Uso (which is important heading into the Main Event)!

WWE Tag Team Championships: The Wyatt Sick6 VS The Street Profits

The first Championship match of the night saw The Wyatt Sick6 put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against The Street Profits! This match was alright, there were some decent moments, but it didn’t exactly feel like a PLE match! I wasn’t sure which team was going to win here, there were arguments for both, but thankfully, after Uncle Howdy dropped Montez Ford with a Sister Abigail, The Wyatt Sick6 delivered the Plague to score a successful Title retention! I’m glad The Wyatts retained, The Profits winning would’ve been stupid!

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch VS Nikki Bella

Two of the most iconic names in women’s wrestling faced off next as Nikki Bella looked to dethrone Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship! Unfortunately, this match wasn’t very good, it was actually quite poor! Becky Lynch is on a run of dull PLE matches; her Women’s IC Title reign hasn’t been particularly good, and Nikki Bella wasn’t exactly ring-ready here! The worst part about this is Becky won via roll-up, meaning we’re probably going to get a rematch soon, and that’s something I definitely don’t want to see!

Rusev VS Sheamus: Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match

It was then time for Rusev and Sheamus to go to war in a “Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match”! This was definitely the best match of the night so far, both guys really went at one another to prove why they deserved to be on this stage! In my opinion, this match showed that Sheamus should be appearing on Premium Live Events far more often than he does, whilst Rusev is a really underrated talented! All sorts of weapons were used here, from chairs to kendo sticks, and even shillelaghs! We also got a crazy White Noise off a bunch of whiskey barrels through a table, whilst Sheamus was also sent crashing through a wooden bar! Also, whilst all of that was great, we also got some really good near-falls; I didn’t expect Rusev to kick out of the Brogue Kick, and in the end, it was The Bulgarian Brute who managed to get the win as The Celtic Warrior shockingly tapped out in a unique Accolade! Very impressed, both guys did great!

John Cena VS Logan Paul

The penultimate match on this card was a pretty big one, with John Cena fighting in Europe for one final time in a one-on-one match against Logan Paul! This was superb, this was definitely the match of the night, and we need to have a serious conversation about Logan Paul! Now, whether people like him or hate him (which seems to be the common theme), Logan is a superb Professional Wrestler, and he deserves to be regarded as one of the best in the world, even more so given he’s so new to this game! This was also the best match of John Cena’s retirement tour to date; I enjoyed this way more than his Summerslam match with Cody Rhodes, and a part of that was because of the nods to a bunch of other wrestlers! See, Cena hit an End of Days, a Pop Rox, and even a Styles Clash whilst Paul pulled out a Zig Zag and a few Cesaro-like uppercuts! As a big wrestling nerd who knows almost every move in the game, this was very, very cool! Whilst Logan kept fighting back, hitting multiple One Lucky Punches, eventually, John Cena was able to score the win with a pair of AA’s, and this, combined with the crow,d made for a spectacular occasion!

World Heavyweight Championship: Seth “Freakin” Rollins VS CM Punk VS Jey Uso VS LA Knight

After Seth “Freakin” Rollins cut an incredibly fired-up promo backstage, The Visionary walked into the Main Event aiming to successfully defend his World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal 4-Way against CM Punk, LA Knight, and “Main Event” Jey Uso! I thought this was a good match overall; it wasn’t as good as some of the prior matches on this show, but I thought Seth looked really good! The crowd were also amazing here; they were so loud for everyone, and whilst they tried their best to cheer on LA Knight, he took himself out with a suicidal dive through the announce table! After Seth nailed both Knight and Uso with Stomps, the match came down to Rollins and Punk! Now, Punk looked set to win following a GTS, but this is when he got attacked from behind by a masked individual, revealed to be none other than Becky Lynch! This opened the door for Rollins to hit a Stomp to retain his World Heavyweight Title, and we might finally be getting that power couple on screen after all!
