Bron Breakker Starts the Show, El Grande Americano VS Je’Von Evans

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw opened with Bron Breakker throwing a fit at ringside, completely destroying the set, before he called out Adam Pearce! The rest of The Vision ran down to try and calm Bron down, whilst Paul Heyman then pointed out that Adam Pearce signed off on everyone who travelled to Saudi Arabia, meaning he should know who the masked man is! This brought out Pearce, who tried to sow more seeds of descension between The Vision, before Breakker’s attempt to storm at the Raw General Manager was blocked off by security! Whilst this was going on, LA Knight arrived to drop both Austin Theory and Logan Paul, creating even more issues for Paul Heyman to have to solve! I have to say, the whole visa part of this storyline is actually quite brilliant, and I can’t wait to see Bron Breakker eventually wreck Adam Pearce!

After a recap of what went down at the Royal Rumble, Je’Von Evans and El Grande Americano squared off in the opening match of the night in what was a rematch from a couple of weeks ago! That match was unfortunately called off early due to an injury to Je’Von, so I’m assuming that a lot of what happened during this match was what we were meant to see back then! Anyway, this match was decent; Je’Von Evans is certifiably insane, whilst El Grande Americano is very talented! Both Rayo and Bravo kept trying to get involved, with Rayo set to hand El Grande his metal plate, before the original El Grande Americano arrived to his much better theme song! This distracted the Americano in the ring, opening the door for Evans to deliver the O.G. Cutter to get the win!

The War Raiders Get Attacked, The Bella Twins Promo, Bronson Reed VS Penta

AJ Styles music hit next, but it was obviously revealed to be none other than Gunther teasing the fans! Gunther cut a short promo about being the “Career Killer” (mostly in German), before Dragon Lee just showed up and tried to attack Gunther! This was a terrible idea by Lee, as he got smashed in the face by the ring bell, before The Ring General choked Dragon Lee out! What on earth was DL thinking?! Anyway, Paul Heyman’s request to have a match between Bron Breakker and LA Knight was rejected by Adam Pearce, as Pearce stated that he’d gotten Knight to leave the building, and all of this just angered Bron Breakker further! The War Raiders were then set for Tag Team action, but that’s not exactly how it went down as Oba Femi arrived and completely destroyed Erik and Ivar! I originally thought that this was going to become a Handicap Match, but the bell never rang, with The Ruler just standing tall! I guess it would’ve been a pretty bad look for The War Raiders to lose in a 2-on-1 situation, but it’s all about making Oba look like a monster (which isn’t hard)!

Grade: C+ for both Gunther and Oba

The Bella Twins were out next to talk about their future plans, stating that they’re back to join the stacked Women’s Tag Team Division! The Bellas called themselves “the original Women’s Tag Team”, which tells me that they feel like they’re owed opportunities! I will be very honest; I didn’t enjoy one part of this! Nikki Bella has been bad enough on her own, but having Brie Bella back feels like we’ve gone backwards even more! The Women’s Tag Team Division has been improving massively recently, so why we need these two back I’ll never know! Also, the crowd didn’t care at all, and this show was in Philadelphia!

After Maxxine Dupri wasn’t in the mood to have fun with the rest of the Alpha Academy, The Vision were back at ringside as Bronson Reed was set to go one-on-one with Penta! This was a good match; I thought it flowed quite well, and what I liked about this is that Bronson Reed didn’t need The Vision to get involved! Now, that’s not to say they didn’t get involved eventually, but I’m glad they let Bronson look strong for as long as possible! Anyway, whilst Penta was dealing with Austin Theory and Logan Paul, he “accidentally” took out the referee, meaning there was no one to count to 3 following a massive Tsunami! Reed then decided to keep on the attack by grabbing a steel chair, only for LA Knight (who was supposed to be out of the building) to drop Reed with a  BFT onto said chair! This then meant that The Colossal One wasn’t able to make it back into the ring before the count of 10, meaning Penta won via countout! This was a complete screw job; even the referee was counting super quickly!

Liv Morgan Celebrates, Stephanie Vaquer VS Raquel Rodriguez: Women’s World Championship Philadelphia Street Fight

The returning Dominik Mysterio was out next to welcome to the ring, his girlfriend, the winner of the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan! Liv was delighted to be reunited with her “Daddy Dom”, as she called herself the Greatest Royal Rumble Winner ever! Morgan also stated that she wasn’t sure who she wants to face at WrestleMania yet, but the one thing she does know is that by the end of the night, we would have ourselves a brand-new Women’s World Champion! That was actually pretty good timing, as the next bout saw Raquel Rodriguez attempt to dethrone Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship in a Philadelphia Street Fight! Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy this match for a number of reasons! Firstly, why on earth have we changed Stephanie Vaquer’s entrance theme?! Like, seriously, WWE always does this, and I find it to be so incredibly dumb! Anyway, on top of that, this match wasn’t that good; it had a lot of clunky moments, and neither woman seemed to be on the same page! Liv Morgan also got involved in this match, despite being explicitly told by Raquel not to, whilst Roxanne Perez just showing up to go through a table felt completely pointless! Eventually, Vaquer was able to score the win with her lovely Spiral Tap, but this was very much a miss for me! Actually, one last thing, this Philly crowd sucked!

Roman Reigns and CM Punk Close the Show

The final segment of this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw was all about Roman Reigns talking about his big victory at the Royal Rumble! Roman said it was quite fitting that we were in Philadelphia for this moment, as Roman wanted to work out who he should face in the Main Event of WrestleMania! This brought out CM Punk, who first sent a message to Finn Balor, before telling Reigns to pick the easier option in Drew McIntyre! Reigns laughed this off, stating that he’s not sure whether Drew would actually be an easier opponent, before Roman went off on Punk, stating that he’s only back in the company because of him! The Tribal Chief then went off on CM Punk some more, with Roman eventually choosing The Best in the World as his WrestleMania opponent because “he hates him”! I actually can’t do this segment justice; it was superb, and it very much makes it clear that as long as Reigns is around, he’s the best in the business!
