Bron Breakker Attacks Seth “Freakin” Rollins, Finn Balor VS JD McDonagh
This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw Roman Reigns storm to gorilla looking for Jacob Fatu, only for Adam Pearce to tell him that he’s not here yet! We then got an awesome stare off between Roman and Seth “Freakin” Rollins, with Rollins telling Reigns that he’s in his way, before Seth headed down to the ring, only to get attacked by Bron Breakker! This was quite the beatdown by Bron, with a great-looking Spear to Rollins leaving Breakker standing tall! This was a bit of a frantic start to the show, but I will never say no to a Reigns-Rollins moment!

After Roxanne Perez convinced Liv Morgan that she isn’t going to keep any more secrets from The Judgment Day, JD McDonagh headed down to the ring to take on Finn Balor in the opening match of the night! We already saw this match a couple of weeks ago, but as expected, this feud is far from over! JD McDonagh is always a treat to watch; I hope he gets a Championship reign one day, whilst Finn Balor definitely feels more important since he brought back his old theme song! Before the ad break, Roxanne Perez made her way down to the ring, resulting in Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez also showing up, before Jessika Carr chucked out Dominik Mysterio after the AAA Mega Champion kept interfering! However, whilst Liv was distracting the referee, Roxanne struck Finn with the ring hammer, opening the door for McDonagh to deliver a killer headbutt to get the win! This is a big win for JD!

Penta and Je’Von Evans VS Ethan Page and Rusev, Sol Ruca Signs to Raw, Austin Theory VS Joe Hendry
Seth “Freakin” Rollins made it clear that Bron Breakker should’ve finished the job when he had the chance, whilst Paul Heyman told Logan Paul that he can’t have him facing Joe Hendry as he can’t afford to lose any more Vision members! As a result, it’s going to be Austin Theory who takes on Hendry later tonight, before we got some Tag Team action as Penta and Je’Von Evans teamed up to take on the duo of Rusev and Ethan Page! I quite liked the team of Rusev and Ethan Page; their acts gel quite well together, whilst Penta and Je’Von Evans are very good at what they do! Whilst Rusev and Ethan definitely got more offense in, Page was unable to deliver a Twisted Grin on multiple occasions, leading to Je’Von making the hot tag! However, the ending of the match saw Rusev drop Penta on the announce table, leading to “All Ego” dropping the Intercontinental Champion with his new finisher to get the win! What a start to Ethan Page’s Monday Night Raw career!
Grade: B-
Adam Pearce was then in the ring next to welcome out Raw’s Newest Superstar, Sol Ruca! Sol seemed very excited to sign her Raw contract, but that was before the arrival of Becky Lynch, as the Women’s Intercontinental Champion interrupted to try and get her own TV time! This annoyed Ruca, leading to the former NXT Women’s North American Champion getting personal with The Man, before Lynch accidentally punched Adam Pearce following Sol signing her contract! Sol Ruca then nailed Becky Lynch with a Sol Snatcher to stand tall, and this is definitely an interesting direction to go in moving forward!

Grade: C+
After The Usos once again went on about family business, Joe Hendry made his Monday Night Raw in-ring debut when he went one-on-one with Austin Theory! The wrestling was pretty decent here, although it wasn’t exactly the main focus! See, the main focus was on Logan Paul continuing to crash out on the outside after Joe once again sang his hit song “Fire Logan Paul”! This eventually led to Paul attacking Hendry from behind to cause the disqualification, before The Street Profits once again ran down to make the save! Bron Breakker then showed up to destroy The Profits, leading to Seth “Freakin” Rollins attempting to get his revenge from earlier in the night! However, after Montez Ford decided to dive over Seth Rollins and to the outside, Breakker took advantage to nail Rollins with another Spear, standing tall over The Visionary once again! That throw from Breakker to Ford was absolutely insane!

Oba Femi’s “Oba Challenge”, Los Americanos VS Los Hermanos Americanos
Liv Morgan was talking about what’s next for The Judgment Day as Raquel Rodriguez invited Brie Bella and Paige to Raw next week! Bayley and Lyra Valkyria still aren’t done with The Judgment Day, however, before Oba Femi came down to the ring to host his first “Oba Challenge”! The music that hit was none other than Alpha Academy’s, with Akira Tozawa seemingly stepping up to Oba, only for Otis to be the one who took on the challenge! I will keep saying that WWE is treading water with Oba Femi, and that’s never been truer than with this! Yes, Femi looked great here, with his uppercut being particularly impressive, before Femi dropped Otise with an awesome Fall From Grace to get the win! However, if we’re being honest, this doesn’t exactly do much for either guy as we already know how great The Ruler is!
Grade: C+
Seth “Freakin” Rollins and The Street Profits still aren’t getting along, whilst we then got a great sit-down promo segment between Asuka and Iyo Sky! This feud so should’ve culminated at WrestleMania, but I’m still excited for the match, even if Kairi Sane is no longer involved! Also, Asuka genuinely got me when she spat the blue mist into Iyo’s face! It was then time for the Main Event match of the night as Los Americanos took on Los Hermanos Americanos in Trios action! For those who don’t know, Los Hermanos Americanos is “The Original” El Grande Americano and The Creed Brothers, although the Creeds are now known as Julio and Bruto due to them wrestling in lucha masks! I did like that the Original Americano said Chad Gable leant him The Creeds; that actually makes sense storyline-wise, and they proved to be pretty good additions for Americano, with Los Hermanos Americanos eventually getting the win after The O.G. pinned Bravo! A strong start for this new faction!
Grade: C+
World Heavyweight Championship Contract Signing
The final segment on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu sign the contract ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship clash at Backlash! Roman wasn’t happy with Jacob not respecting him as the Tribal Chief, and that pulling out the Tongan Death Grip should only be used as a last resort, not to your own family! Fatu then once again made it clear that he wants to take everything from Reigns to benefit his household, something that ticked Roman off, as The Tribal Chief is trying to look after 170 kids, not just 7! Eventually, Jacob attempted to choke Roman out again with the Tongan Death Grip, with Reigns even trying to grab onto Adam Pearce for leverage! This didn’t work out for the World Heavyweight Champion, though, as Fatu put Reigns through a table to once again end the show standing tall! The question that I want answered is where on earth were The Usos?! Anyway, I am excited for Backlash; this feud has been good!
