The Vision Start the Show, Iyo Sky VS Raquel Rodriguez

This week’s edition of Monday Night Raw started with The Vision as Paul Heyman and Seth “Freakin” Rollins talked about how amazing they are! Paul called himself The GOAT whilst also putting over Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, whilst Seth was very high on himself! This brought out Jey Uso who said he’s sick and tired of hearing The Vision speak, and this eventually resulted in Rollins firing Breakker up enough, with Paul Heyman booking an Extreme Rules match for the Main Event! This was totally fine, I liked Seth’s bit with Bron!

Grade: C+

After Iyo Sky told The Kabuki Warriors that she needs to do things alone, it was time for the opening match of the night as Iyo clashed with Raquel Rodriguez! I liked this match in terms of the action, it flowed quite well, both women know each other well from their NXT days, so they gelled immediately! However, I was so annoyed with Michael Cole throughout this; his lack of knowledge when it comes to NXT is shocking, and it drove me insane! Ultimately, Sky was able to beat Rodriguez via Over the Moonsault before Roxanne Perez delivered a post-match beatdown, only for Rhea Ripley to run down and make the save!

Penta VS Xavier Woods, The Judgment Day VS Dragon Lee and Mr. Iguana

LA Knight had absolutely no interest in listening to CM Punk’s offer before Rhea Ripley checked in on Iyo Sky! This angered Asuka, and all of this drove Iyo Sky insane! The New Day’s music then hit as Xavier Woods was set to go one-on-one with Penta! This was a decent match, I thought Xavier Woods was quite funny, and Grayson Waller was showing off The New Day’s new mourning shirt! Whilst Woods tried his best, Penta was just too good as he scored the win with a Mexican Destroyer, and I would expect to see Penta going after the Intercontinental Championship again soon!

Grade: C+

After we got a recap of what went down at TripleMania 33, Mr. Iguana was back on WWE TV as he teamed up with Dragon Lee to take on The Judgment Day! This was fun, Dragon Lee is really good at what he does whilst Mr. Iguana is very entertaining! The Judgment Day are also great, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh deserve an awful lot more credit for everything that they do, and in the end, it was Finn who scored the win with a Coup de Grace after a little help from Dominik Mysterio! After the match, Dominik was aiming to put Dragon Lee through the announce table, but his plans were thwarted by El Hijo del Vikingo as the AAA Mega Champion took out The Judgment Day to stand tall!

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch VS Natalya, Naomi Makes an Announcement

Becky Lynch made it clear that she’s not losing her Women’s Intercontinental Championship to anyone before we got another video of Bayley losing her mind! Please bring back the chaotic, deranged, epic Heel that we got in 2020! After losing at TripleMania, Natalya was now going after another Championship as she tried to dethrone Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Title! This wasn’t the best match, this version of Natalya isn’t very good, I think she was a lot better Saturday when she was being more serious! As expected, Lynch was able to retain by forcing Nattie to submit before Nikki Bella ran down to make the save! Becky needs better opponents soon!

Rusev and Sheamus continued to fight backstage, driving Adam Pearce to make a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match for Clash in Paris, before Jey Uso rejected CM Punk’s offer to help in the Main Event! After a week of rumours, Naomi was then out next to address the state of the Women’s World Championship! We then cut to the titantron as Jimmy Uso confirmed that there’s a baby on the way, with Naomi having to relinquish her Title due to being pregnant! However, despite that, Naomi stayed in character to rip into Adam Pearce and make it clear that when she comes back, she’s taking over again! From the wrestling side, it’s terrible timing as Naomi was just finding her groove, she was the Champion, but that doesn’t matter because this news is amazing for both her and Jimmy Uso, congratulations!

Bron Breakker VS Jey Uso: Extreme Rules

After the rest of The Judgment Day saw Dominik Mysterio talking to El Grande Americano, it was Main Event time as Bron Breakker and Jey Uso left it all on the line in an Extreme Rules match! This was complete chaos, an awful lot happened in the final 20 minutes of the show, the match itself was good, plenty of weapon spots, and the landing that Bron took onto the trolley was nasty, like that had to hurt! However, things then turned into complete disarray as Bronson Reed got involved, LA Knight then ran down to make the save, Seth “Freakin” Rollins then appeared, CM Punk then made the save, with Knight accidentally crashing through a table before Punk and Rollins brawled through the crowd! Reed then got involved once again, only for Roman Reigns to make a surprise appearance as The Tribal Chief wrecked both Bron and Bronson! After all of this chaos, Jey Uso then pinned Bron Breakker to get the win before Reigns challenged Reed to a match at Clash in Paris! This was utter madness, but it was entertaining!
