WWE Monday Night Raw Review: 19/10
Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn Start the Show, Bron Breakker VS Penta
Despite Roman Reigns pulling up to the arena first, he would get overtaken by Sami Zayn as the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion made his way down to the ring to kick off this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw! Sami felt like there were some haters in the crowd, but he couldn’t really say anything else before Roman Reigns’ music hit! The Tribal Chief was happy to see Sami given their past, with Zayn laughing about how he finally understands the burden that Roman carries as Champion! Reigns would then ask Zayn to serve him and The Bloodline in their battle against the 946, but rightly, Zayn had no interest in that as he’s currently “The Head of the Table” over on SmackDown! Sami would then tell Roman that he doesn’t like being disrespected, and his accomplishments deserve to be respected! Reigns would then end the segment by telling Zayn that his track record tells him that he may not even be Champion come Crown Jewel, which was fitting given that Penta then showed up to remind both Champs that he currently holds the Men’s Money in the Bank Briefcase! Roman and Sami are so good together!
Grade: B
It was then time for the opening match of the night as Penta looked to get a measure of revenge over Bron Breakker! Of course, last week saw Bron Spear an injured Je’Von Evans to start the show, so Penta was trying to get payback on behalf of his friend! I appreciated the fact that this was a singles match, at least for a while, with nobody in the corner of Breakker! However, as always, Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri would arrive eventually, opening the door for Bron to deliver a ridiculous mid-air Spear to Mr. MITB! However, what was potentially even more ridiculous was the fact that Penta kicked out, with Je’Von Evans then showing up and taking out both Breakker and Theory with the MITB Briefcase, opening the door for Penta to deliver a Mexican Destroyer to knock off one-half of the World Tag Team Champions!

Chelsea Green and Iyo Sky VS The Judgment Day, Joe Hendry VS JD McDonagh
After Roman Reigns said it’s back to the drawing board in terms of finding backup against 946, Chelsea Green and Iyo Sky teamed together to take on The Judgment Day! Liv Morgan watched on from ringside as Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez did their best to come out on top, although it’s well known that The Judgment Day don’t win a ton of matches as a group! Chelsea and Iyo were sort of a weird pairing in some ways, but they worked quite well together, with Green taking out both Perez and Morgan, opening the door for Sky to sneak a win over Raquel! Future Women’s Intercontinental Championship match incoming?!
Grade: C+
After Carmelo Hayes and the rest of 946 sent their warning shot, Joe Hendry made his way down to the ring to continue his ongoing feud with JD McDonagh! As always, the stupid Funko Pop was hanging around ringside, with him causing multiple distractions as neither JD nor Dominik Mysterio could keep their eyes off him! Eventually, though, McDonagh would use Hendry’s guitar to smash the Funko Pop in the head, with a distraction from Dominik opening the door for JD to nail Joe with a flying headbutt to get the win! No more of this nonsense!
Grade: C
Lola Vice VS Lyra Valkyria, Chad Gable VS Rey Mysterio VS Dragon Lee: Intercontinental Championship
Bayley continues to get into Lyra Valkyria’s head, with Lyra accidentally waking Lola Vice in the back, leading to a one-on-one match between the two! Lola looked decent here; Lyra carried most of this match well, but this Valkyria-Bayley storyline has gone stale now! Valkyria kept getting annoyed at the referee for not doing anything regarding Bayley, with The Role Model eventually doing enough to open the door for Vice to deliver the MIA Back-Fist to get the win! After the match was over, Bayley said she and Lyra Valkyria are going to face off in a No Disqualification Match! Honestly, that has to be the end of this feud!
Grade: C
Adam Pearce checked in on how Stephanie Vaquer was recovering in the trainers’ room, whilst Becky Lynch still has her eyes firmly set on the Women’s World Championship! Lynch and Valkyria will fight for the right to challenge Liv once Stephanie gets cleared! It was then time for the Main Event match of the night as Chad Gable put his Intercontinental Championship on the line in a Triple Threat Match against both Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee! After a couple of questionable matches, this really picked the show back up with a great Triple Threat between three uber-talented competitors! Dragon Lee has great matches all the time; I’ve been saying this for years, whilst Rey Mysterio had home-field advantage due to this show taking place in San Diego, California! In fact, the crowd’s reaction when Rey hit two 619’s and a Frog Splash was excellent, with Chad Gable having to break up the pin at the last second! Speaking of Gable, he’s on a roll right now; without a doubt one of the best wrestlers in 2026, and eventually, Chad would find a way to beat Mysterio to successfully keep hold of his IC Title! After the match was over, Big Cass attacked Dragon Lee, whilst more importantly, Ethan Page destroyed Chad Gable! We might finally be getting Gable-Page sooner rather than later!
Grade: B+
The Bloodline and 946 Come to Blows
The final segment on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw The Usos come down to the ring to call out 946, with Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Jaida Parker, and OTM answering the call with a ton of aggression! Solo Sikoa would then show up to take out Keys from behind, with The Usos dealing with OTM, before Melo struck Solo with a crowbar for the second straight week! 946 were then set to destroy The Bloodline again, only for Roman Reigns’ music to hit, as The Tribal Chief made a shock appearance to stand alongside his family in the fight against 946! The show would then go off the air with Reigns sending Keys and the rest packing, as the build to WarGames continues!
