Paul Heyman Interrupts Jey Uso, The Judgment Day VS AJ Styles and The Kabuki Warriors
After another video package celebrating the life of Hulk Hogan, Jey Uso came out to start the final Monday Night Raw before Summerslam, but he was very quickly interrupted by Paul Heyman! Paul wanted to talk about family and how they always let you down, bringing up multiple examples of them lying to Jey, including Roman Reigns! This fired up Uso who did his usual “Yeet stick” before that was just it! This was very odd!

It was then time for the first match of the night as AJ Styles teamed up with The Kabuki Warriors to take on The Judgment Day in a 6-Person Mixed Tag Team match! As expected, Dominik Mysterio wanted nothing to do with AJ as Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez continually worked on Asuka and Kairi Sane, only for Styles to eventually get tagged in and run wild on Mysterio! Roxanne tried her best to protect “Dirty” Dom, but in the end, Kairi Sane was able to wipe out both Roxy and Raquel before Styles nailed Dominik with a Phenomenal Forearm to get the win! That probably means Mysterio’s retaining at Summerslam!

Grayson Waller VS Sheamus, Lyra Valkyria Promo, Naomi and The Secret Hervice VS Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Nikki Bella, and Stephanie Vaquer
After Grayson Waller got in the face of Sheamus, we went straight into a match between The Arrogant Aussie and The Celtic Warrior! There were a couple of nasty bumps in this match, Sheamus landed on the ring apron hard whilst Waller got absolutely wrecked at one point with a knee strike! Towards the end of the match, Rusev appeared to try and take out Sheamus, but it didn’t do much as Sheamus nailed Grayson with a Brogue Kick to get the win! However, after the match was over, Rusev attacked Sheamus from behind, eventually choking his former partner out in the Accolade!

Naomi cut a promo talking about Summerslam before Bron Breakker told Paul Heyman that he has a plan! Lyra Valkyria was then out next to cut one final promo on Becky Lynch, and she talked about her shoes before she said that this weekend is her last opportunity to recapture her Women’s Intercontinental Championship! Becky Lynch’s music then hit, but Lyra thwarted Becky’s attack to take her out with a kendo stick herself! Valkyria’s promo was awful; it’s really uncomfortable to watch her, and this feud needs to end!

Sami Zayn was having a sit-down interview with Corey Graves before Karrion Kross interrupted, saying Sami is the only guy he hasn’t been able to get people to see their true colours! Both men agreed that if they lose on Saturday, they’ll say whatever the other person wants them to say before Bayley seemed absolutely dejected backstage! It was then time for an 8-Women Tag Team match as Naomi teamed up with The Secret Hervice to take on the all-star team of Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Nikki Bella, and Stephanie Vaquer! This match wasn’t the best, there were some decent moments, I thought Alba Fyre and Piper Niven were particularly good! However, other parts of this just didn’t work, things weren’t particularly smooth, particularly surrounding Naomi and Nikki Bella! Ultimately, it was Stephanie Vaquer who scored the win over Chelsea Green, and that’s about it!

World Tag Team Championships: The Judgment Day VS The LWO, Gunther and CM Punk Come Face-to-Face

Finn Balor told The Judgment Day to perk up as Roxanne Perez offered to play WWE 2K25 with Dominik Mysterio before Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley had an interesting interaction! The Judgment Day were then ready to put their World Tag Team Championships on the line against The LWO! This was a good match, some of the bumps that The LWO take are crazy, but so are the bumps that JD McDonagh took, he landed hard multiple times! At one point, El Grande Americano made his presence known, only to be dealt with by Dragon Lee! However, another masked man then appeared, taking out Cruz Del Toro before Finn Balor did enough to retain the Gold!
Grade: B-
The next segment was all about a face-to-face confrontation between Gunther and CM Punk! Both men claim that they’re The Best in the World, both men said they will leave Summerslam as the World Heavyweight Champion, and it was Punk who said he doesn’t want to become World Heavyweight Champion, he needs to become World Heavyweight Champion! Honestly, this just doesn’t feel like a Summerslam feud, it should be massive, but it’s been so rushed that it just feels like another Title match!

Bronson Reed VS Jey Uso

And in the Main Event of the final Monday Night Raw before Summerslam, “Main Event” Jey Uso went one-on-one with “Big” Bronson Reed! The match was totally fine, solid for what it was, but this was never about the match as Bron Breakker quickly came out and wrecked Jey with a Spear to cause the DQ! This brought out Roman Reigns who was initially on top, but that all changed when he too got destroyed by a Spear from Breakker! Bronson Reed also floored Jey Uso, and after he delivered a Tsunami to Roman, Breakker Speared both Reigns and Uso through the barricade to stand tall! This was quite the statement, and was easily the best thing on this show!
