Brentford 4-3 Manchester United

Brentford fired 4 past Manchester United to keep their European dreams well and truly alive! After just 14 minutes, Manchester United had the lead as Mason Mount capped off a really good team goal! In the 27th minute, Brentford were back on level terms thanks to a Luke Shaw own goal before Brentford took the lead just 6 minutes later through Kevin Schade! Man United were furious with Brentford for not kicking the ball out of play, but that’s just how it goes sometimes! In the 70th minute, it was 3-1 as Schade scored another headed goal before Yoane Wissa made it 4-1 to the hosts just 4 minutes later! However, in the 82nd minute, Alejandro Garnacho found the back of the net before Amad Diallo got another one back for United in the 95th minute! Overall, it’s another positive win for Brentford! The Bees rise to 9th in the league and they head to Ipswich next time out! As for Manchester United, they were outplayed yet again! United drop to 15th in the table and they host Athletic Bilbao in a huge Second Leg in the Europa League on Thursday followed by a game against West Ham!
Chelsea 3-1 Liverpool

Chelsea dispatched of newly crowned Champions Liverpool to boost their Champions League hopes! After just 3 minutes, Chelsea already had the lead as Enzo Fernandez placed his finish into the bottom right-hand corner! Noni Madueke then had a decent opportunity to score which he dragged wide before Chelsea’s lead was doubled in the 56th minute thanks to a baffling Jarell Quansah own goal! Darwin Nunez then had a great opportunity to score which he made an absolute mess of before Cole Palmer struck the post! In the 85th minute, Liverpool had one goal back through Virgil van Dijk, but they then handed Chelsea a penalty through poor passes at the back! Cole Palmer then stepped up and scored to seal all 3 points for the hosts! Overall, this was much better from Chelsea! The Blues remain 5th in the table and they take on Djurgarden Thursday Night followed by a massive away trip to Newcastle! As for Liverpool, they’re already on their holidays I think! The Reds stay top of the league and they host Arsenal next time out!
Everton 2-2 Ipswich

After 26 minutes, it was Everton who had the lead as Beto headed home well following a nice ball in from Carlos Alcaraz! In the 35th minute, it was 2-0 as Dwight McNeil fired a curling rocket from a long way out! However, just 6 minutes later, and Ipswich were back in the game thanks to a stunning strike rom Julio Enciso before Geroge Hirst scored Ipswich’s equalising in the 79th minute! In the end, this is a disappointing result for Everton! The Toffees rise to 14th in the table and they head to Fulham next time out! As for Ipswich Town, they should be pleased with a point here! The Tractor Boys remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th) and they host Brentford this weekend!
Arsenal 1-2 Bournemouth

AFC Bournemouth completed a terrific Emirates comeback to do the double over Arsenal! Declan Rice had a half opportunity early on which he dragged wide before Evanilson had a great opportunity to score which he failed to keep down! Gabriel Martinelli then had a decent chance of his own which he failed to guide on target before Kepa Arrizabalaga pulled out a decent save to keep Leandro Trossard’s headed effort out! In the 34th minute, Arsenal were finally able to get their noses in front as Declan Rice rounded Kepa and finished the chance off well! In the Second Half, Bukayo Saka had a decent opportunity which he curled just around the post before Bournemouth had their equaliser in the 67th minute through Dean Huijsen! And then, in the 75th minute, Bournemouth managed to find themselves in front as Evanilson scored after a terrible bit of goalkeeping by David Raya! In the end, it’s another poor result for Arsenal! The Gunners stay second in the league and they have a massive week incoming with away trips to PSG and Liverpool! As for AFC Bournemouth, this is a cracking win for them! The Cherries remain 8th in the league and they host Aston Villa next time out!
Leicester 2-0 Southampton

After just 17 minutes, Leicester had the lead as Jamie Vardy scored the team’s first home league goal of 2025! In the 44th minute, it was 2-0 to Leicester as Jordan Ayew followed up his poor free kick with a great strike! In the Second Half, Mateus Fernandes had a goal ruled out for offside before Bilal El Khannouss had a great chance to make it 3-0 which he poorly dragged off target! Overall, at least Leicester City managed to get a win before the end of the season! The Foxes remain 19th in the table and they head to Nottingham Forest next time out! As for Southampton, they’re absolutely pathetic! The Saints stay bottom of the league and their next game sees them host Manchester City!
Brighton 1-1 Newcastle

A late Newcastle United leveller could prove costly for Brighton and Hove Albion’s European chances! After 28 minutes, it was Brighton who had the lead as Yankuba Minteh managed to score against his former club! Newcastle then had two penalties given that were overturned by VAR, but it proved to be third time lucky for the visitors as a penalty was given after a clear handball by Yasin Ayari! It was then Alexander Isak who stepped up and scored to at least restore a point for Newcastle in the 89th minute! However, Diego Gomez then had a golden opportunity to win it for Brighton right at the end, but he shocking headed well wide! In the end, Brighton and Hove Albion will be kicking themselves that they didn’t win this game! The Seagulls drop to 10th in the table and they head to Wolves next time out! As for Newcastle United, that late goal could prove crucial for them! The Magpies drop to 4th in the league and their next game is a massive 6-pointer at home against Chelsea!
Crystal Palace 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Daniel Munoz had a decent opportunity to score early on which he could only direct straight at Matz Sels before Anthony Elanga had a good opportunity which he too failed to put it into the corner! In the Second Half, Ismaila Sarr had a great chance to score, but he was denied by Sels before Chris Wood’s golden opportunity was brilliantly blocked by Maxence Lacroix! Crystal Palace were then awarded a penalty after Tyrick Mitchell was brought down by Matz Sels, and it was Eberechi Eze who stepped up and scored to give Crystal Palace the lead on the hour mark! However, just 4 minutes later, and Nottingham Forest were back on level terms thanks to a great little flick by Murillo! Eberechi Eze then came close to winning the game for Crystal Palace, but his effort came crashing back off the crossbar! In the end, it’s a point that very much positions Crystal Palace to finish 12th this season! The Eagles remain 12th in the table and they head to Tottenham next time out! As for Nottingham Forest, this isn’t the end of the world for them! Forest stay 6th in the league and they host Leicester on Sunday in what is a must-win game!
West Ham 1-1 Tottenham

After a terrible bit of defending by Max Kilman, Tottenham had the lead inside 15 minutes through Wilson Odobert! West Ham were then asking for a penalty for a handball by Ben Davies, but nothing was given before West Ham had their equaliser in the 28th minute through Jarrod Bowen! In the Second Half, Niklas Fullkrug had a decent opportunity which he failed to keep down before Guglielmo Vicario pulled out a great save to deny Bowen a second! In the end, it’s a decent point for West Ham United, nothing more! The Hammers stay 17th in the table and they head to Manchester United next time out! As for Tottenham Hotspur, this game doesn’t matter in the slightest for them! Spurs remain 16th in the league and they have a huge trip to Bodo/Glimt on Thursday followed by a date with Crystal Palace!
Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham

After just 12 minutes, Aston Villa had the lead as Youri Tielemans fired home a bullet of a header! Bernd Leno then pulled out a really good save to stop Tielemans from scoring a second before Ollie Watkins had a golden opportunity to make it 2-0, but he completely missed the ball! Ryan Sessegnon then managed to find the back of the net, but his goal was rightly ruled out due to a handball before Watkins had another good opportunity which was kept out by Leno! Donyell Malen then had the opportunity to finish the game off in additional time, but he could only smash the crossbar! Overall, this was an important win for Aston Villa! Villa remain 7th in the league and their next game is a big one away at Bournemouth! As for Fulham, they didn’t do enough here! The Cottagers drop to 11th in the table and they host Everton next time out!
Manchester City 1-0 Wolves

Wolves should’ve taken the lead in the First Half against Manchester City, but Jean-Ricner Bellegarde’s pass was far too overhit before Rayan Ait Nouri struck the post! Nico O’Reilly then had a decent opportunity to score which he failed to keep down before Manchester City had the lead in the 35th minute courtesy of Kevin De Bruyne! In the Second Half, Matheus Cunha was unlucky as his effort struck the post before Ait Nouri delivered a pretty poor challenge on Bernardo Silva, but VAR opted to do nothing about it! Overall, it’s another 3 points for Manchester City! City rise to third in the league and they head to Southampton this Saturday! As for Wolverhampton Wanderers, they failed to take their chances! Wolves stay 13th in the table and they host Brighton next time out!
