Arsenal picked up a crucial win over Newcastle United to all but secure another second-place finish! Newcastle had a good chance early on, but Bruno Guimaraes’ effort was saved well by David Raya before Nick Pope pulled out a great save to deny Thomas Partey from giving Arsenal the lead! David Raya then pulled out another strong save, this time to keep Harvey Barnes’ deflected effort out before Raya pulled out another quality save! In the 55th minute, it was 1-0 to Arsenal as Declan Rice scored with a great long-distance strike! Harvey Barnes then had a decent opportunity which he fluffed completely before Joe Willock saw his effort fly just wide of the post! Overall, I don’t know how Arsenal won this game, but it’s exactly the result that they were looking for! The Gunners remain second in the league and they head to Southampton on the final day of the season! As for Newcastle United, they really should’ve won this game, and yet they’ve lost it! The Magpies drop to 4th in the table and they host Everton next time out!

Manchester City celebrated Kevin De Bruyne’s Etihad Stadium farewell with a crucial 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth! After 14 minutes, Manchester City had the lead as Omar Marmoush scored arguably the goal of the season! Honestly, this is absolutely ridiculous! From goal of the season to miss of the season, Kevin De Bruyne somehow smashed the crossbar from 5 yards out (this was gutting for him) before Evanilson hit the post! In the 38th minute, it was 2-0 as Bernardo Silva finished off what was a really well-worked team goal! In the 67th minute, Bournemouth looked to have a way back into the game as Mateo Kovacic was sent off, but just 6 minutes later, and the field was even again as Lewis Cook was shown a straight Red Card for a pretty poor challenge! In the 89th minute, it was 3-0 to Man City as Nico Gonzalez finished well, but Bournemouth were able to get one back in the 96th minute as Daniel Jebbison scored following a terrible back pass by Matheus Nunes! Overall, this was exactly the result that Manchester City needed! City rise to third in the league and they head to Fulham on the Final Day! As for AFC Bournemouth, their European dreams have officially come to an end! The Cherries drop to 11th in the table and they host Leicester next time out!

John McGinn had a decent opportunity to score early on which he blasted over the crossbar before Wilson Odobert forced a good save out of Emiliano Martinez! Antonin Kinsky then pulled out a great save to push Morgan Rogers’ effort around the post before Marco Asensio curled his effort just wide of the post! In the 59th minute, Aston Villa finally had the lead as Ezri Konsa scored from close range! Kinsky then pulled out another great save, this time to stop Ollie Watkins from scoring before Villa had their all-important second goal in the 73rd minute through Boubacar Kamara! Overall, this is a strong win for Aston Villa! Villa remain 6th in the league and they head to Manchester United next time out! As for Tottenham Hotspur, they didn’t do anything here! After just 16 minutes, Manchester United thought they had the lead through Harry Maguire, but his goal was ruled out for an extremely tight offside! Reece James then fired a fantastic effort which came crashing back off the post before Chelsea were awarded a penalty in the 61st minute, only for VAR to overturn it! This was a clear dive by Tyrique George, and he really should’ve been booked for it! However, in the 71st minute, Chelsea had the lead as Marc Cucurella scored an important goal after a brilliant pass from Reece James! Noni Madueke then had a golden chance to make it 2-0 which he horribly sliced wide, but luckily for them, it didn’t end up costing them! Overall, this is a key win for Chelsea! The Blues remain 5th in the league and their next game is absolutely massive away at Nottingham Forest! As for Manchester United, it’s yet another loss for them! United stay 16th in the table and they take on Tottenham in the Europa League Final tonight followed by a home game against Aston Villa!

Nottingham Forest pulled out a massive win over West Ham United when they needed it to keep their Champions League hopes alive! Matz Sels pulled out a decent save to stop Tomas Soucek from giving West Ham the lead early on before Alphonse Areola pulled out a big stop to deny Morgan Gibbs-White! However, in the 11th minute, Nottingham Forest did have the lead as Gibbs-White scored following a horrendous error by Areola! This was abysmal from the West Ham Goalkeeper! Chris Wood then saw his headed effort come back out off the post before Forest had their second in the 61st minute through Nikola Milenkovic! However, in the 86th minute, West Ham had one back as Jarrod Bowen fired home with a great volleyed effort before Matz Sels pulled out a key save right at the end of the game! In the end, it’s not the last home game of the season that West Ham United were looking for! The Hammers stay 15th in the table and they head to Ipswich next time out! Two goals in quick succession earnt Fulham a massive away win over Brentford! After 16 minutes, it was Fulham who had the lead as Raul Jimenez headed home after a disappointing bit of goalkeeping by Mark Flekken! Just 6 minutes later, though, and Brentford were already back on level terms through Bryan Mbeumo! Brentford were then awarded a penalty after Joachim Andersen brought down Kevin Schade, but amazingly, Bernd Leno was able to save Mbeumo’s spot kick! Yoane Wissa then probably should’ve been shown a second Yellow Card, but the referee decided against it, and in the 43rd minute, Brentford had the lead as Wissa found the back of the net! However, in the 68th minute, Fulham were back on level terms as Tom Cairney headed home from close range before, in the 70th minute, it was 3-2 to the visitors courtesy of Harry Wilson! Christian Norgaard then had a great chance to level things up late on, but his headed was expertly kept out by Bernd Leno! In the end, this is a hard loss to take for Brentford! Brighton and Hove Albion came from behind to earn a massive 3 points over the Champions! After just 9 minutes, Liverpool had the lead as Harvey Elliott tapped home after a great bit of play by Conor Bradley! Right before Halftime, and Liverpool were back in front as Dominik Szoboszlai scored from what looked to be a terrible cross! Mohamed Salah then had a golden chance to score which he unbelievably managed to miss before Alisson made an important save to deny Danny Welbeck! Mo Salah then had another opportunity which was saved by Bart Verbruggen before Brighton were back on level terms in the 69th minute as Kaoru Mitoma scored just minutes after entering the pitch! And then, in the 85th minute, Jack Hinshelwood made an even quicker impact to earn Brighton a massive 3 points! Overall, this is a huge win for Brighton and Hove Albion! Everton bid farewell to Goodison Park with a win and a clean sheet over Southampton! After 6 minutes, Everton already had the lead as Iliman Ndiaye finished well! In additional time at the end of the First Half, both Everton and Ndiaye had their second goal of the game, and I have to say that the goalkeeping here from Aaron Ramsdale was awful! In the Second Half, Beto had a decent opportunity which he just couldn’t keep down before Jordan Pickford pulled out a great save to deny Cameron Archer! Overall, this was the perfect way for Everton to say goodbye to Goodison Park! The Toffees remain 13th in the table and they head to Newcastle on the Final Day! As for Southampton, they once again weren’t good enough! The Saints stay bottom of the league and they host Arsenal next time out!

Overall, this was a positive final home game for Leicester City! The Foxes rise to 18th in the league and they head to Bournemouth next time out! As for Ipswich Town, they were poor yet again!
