Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace

Despite failing to beat Crystal Palace on the final day of the season, it was all smiles around Anfield as Liverpool lifted this year’s Premier League Trophy! After just 9 minutes, Crystal Palace already had the lead as Ismaila Sarr finished off well! I will say that Liverpool were far too open here! Luis Diaz then had a great chance to equalise, but his effort was saved well by Dean Henderson before things got worse for Liverpool as Ryan Gravenberch was sent off in the 68th minute! However, in the 84th minute, Liverpool were able to find their equaliser through none other than Mohamed Salah! In the end, this was a nice moment for the Liverpool fans! The Reds end the year as Champions as they now turn their attention to trying to go back-to-back! As for Crystal Palace, they were just happy here! The Eagles finish 12th, and that plus an FA Cup win results in a pretty good season for Oliver Glasner’s men!
Nottingham Forest 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea pulled out a terrific away win over Nottingham Forest to earn themselves a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League! Pedro Neto had a good chance to give Chelsea the lead early on which he failed to keep down before Chris Wood had an unbelievable chance to score which he put over the bar! In the 50th minute, it was Chelsea who took the lead as Levi Colwill scored an invaluable goal for his side! Chris Wood then had another great chance to score for Nottingham Forest, but he again failed to keep his effort down, and that was it! In the end, it’s heartbreak for Nottingham Forest! Forest finish 7th in the table, but that’s still European Football next season which is an incredible achievement that shouldn’t be forgotten! As for Chelsea, this is a terrific win! The Blues end up 4th in the league and they have a Conference League Final against Real Betis tonight!
Fulham 0-2 Manchester City

Manchester City earnt yet another win over Fulham to keep their Champions League streak alive! After 21 minutes, Manchester City had the lead as Ilkay Gundogan scored a terrific overhead kick! Tom Cairney then had a couple of decent chances which he couldn’t convert before Ederson pulled out a great save to deny Harry Wilson! In the Second Half, Andreas Pereira had a good opportunity to score which he made an absolute mess of before Man City were awarded a penalty after Sasa Lukic fouled Gundogan! It was Erling Haaland who then stepped up and scored to secure Champions League Football for City! In the end, it’s a disappointing end to the season for Fulham! The Cottagers end up finishing 11th, and it honestly could’ve been so much better! As for Manchester City, they got the job done here! City finish third in the league, and that’s not a bad result given how poor they’ve been at times!
Manchester United 2-0 Aston Villa

A controversial disallowed goal cost Aston Villa a place in the Top 5 as Manchester United ended their season with a win! Emiliano Martinez managed to pull out a great save to stop Mason Mount from giving Manchester United the lead before Diogo Dalot smashed the post! In additional time at the end of the First Half, Emi Martinez was shown a straight Red Card as the Aston Villa Goalkeeper decided to completely wipe out Rasmus Hojlund! This was crazy! In the 72nd minute, Morgan Rogers put the ball into the back of the net, but the referee blew for a foul on Altay Bayindir! This is a shocking decision, absolutely shocking, there is no foul here, and it absolutely screwed Aston Villa over! To make matters worse, just 3 minutes later, and Manchester United had the lead through Amad Diallo! Christian Eriksen was then unlucky as his effort clipped the side of the woodwork before Man United were awarded a penalty after a trip on Amad! It was Christian Eriksen who then stepped up and scored to seal all 3 points for United! Overall, at least Manchester United have managed to end their season with a win! United end up 15th in the table, and to say it’s been a horrendous season would be putting it lightly! As for Aston Villa, they have every right to be furious here! Villa just barely miss out on the Top 5 in 6th, and they will look to push on next season!
Newcastle 0-1 Everton

Despite a terrible final-day defeat at home to Everton, Newcastle United were still able to hold on and qualify for Champions League Football! Jordan Pickford pulled out a good save to stop Sven Botman from giving Newcastle the lead before Everton were asking for a penalty after a handball by Tino Livramento! Personally, I’m surprised this wasn’t given! In the 65th minute, it was Everton who took the lead a Carlos Alcaraz headed home to send St. James’ Park into stunned silence! Dominic Calvert-Lewin then had a great chance to make it 2-0 which he struck straight at Nick Pope Fabian Schar had a great opportunity which he failed to guide on target! In the end, it’s a poor end to the season for Newcastle United, but they’re still in the Champions League so that’s a positive! The Magpies finish 5th and will hope for even more next season! As for Everton, what a great way to end the season for them! The Toffees end up 13th in the table, and I’d say that’s a respectable effort for them!
Tottenham 1-4 Brighton

Despite winning the Europa League on Wednesday, Tottenham Hotspur got absolutely battered at home by a Brighton and Hove Albion side who just missed out on a place in Europe! After Mathys Tel was brought down inside the box, Dominic Solanke stepped up and converted from 12 yards out to give Tottenham the lead inside 17 minutes! 6 minutes into the Second Half, though, and Brighton were back on level terms through Jack Hinshelwood! Carlos Baleba was then unlucky as he saw his effort strike the post before Brighton were in front in the 64th minute as Hinshelwood scored again! Brighton were then awarded a penalty after Yves Bissouma committed a foul against his old club, and it was Matthew O’Riley who stepped up and scored to give the visitors a third! And then, in the 93rd minute, Brighton had a 4th as Diego Gomez scored an absolute beauty of a strike! In the end, I’m not even surprised at Tottenham Hotspur at this point! Spurs finish 17th, yes 17th in the Premier League, but they don’t care because they won a trophy! As for Brighton and Hove Albion, it’s a season of what could’ve been for them, but this is a cracking result! The Seagulls finish 8th, and a little more consistency next year, and European Football will be theirs!
Southampton 1-2 Arsenal

Mikel Merino was unlucky as his headed effort struck the top of the crossbar before Aaron Ramsdale made an important save to stop Gabriel Martinelli from giving Arsenal the lead! However, in the 43rd minute, Arsenal did have their noses in front through Kieran Tierney! 11 minutes into the Second Half, though, and Southampton were back on level terms as Ross Stewart headed home well! And then, in the 89th minute, Arsenal were able to win the game late on thanks to a great strike by Martin Odegaard! In the end, it’s another loss for Southampton! The Saints finish bottom of the league in what is arguably been the worst season in the clubs’ history! As for Arsenal, they managed to end their season with a win! The Gunners end another season second in the table, and they have to go one further next year!
Bournemouth 2-0 Leicester

Evanilson had a good opportunity to give Bournemouth the lead early on which he just dragged wide before Jakub Stolarczyk pulled out a decent save to keep David Brooks’ effort out! In the Second Half, Stolarczyk pulled out a much better save to tip Marcus Tavernier’s effort wide before Antoine Semenyo smashed his effort over the bar! However, in the 74th minute, Bournemouth would find themselves in front as Semenyo did find the back of the net! And then, in the 88th minute, Antoine Semenyo scored again to seal all 3 points for the hosts! Overall, this was a nice way for AFC Bournemouth to end their season! The Cherries finish 9th in the end, and it’s definitely been their best top-flight season so far! As for Leicester City, of course they ended their season with a loss! The Foxes are headed straight back down to the Championship, and their task is to try and go straight back up again!
Ipswich 1-3 West Ham

Nathan Broadhead forced Lukasz Fabianski to pull out a decent save before West Ham had the lead just before Halftime through James Ward-Prowse! The back pass by Sam Morsy is absolutely horrendous! 7 minutes into the Second Half, though, and Ipswich were back on level terms through Nathan Broadhead! However, just 3 minutes later, and West Ham’s lead was already restored courtesy of Jarrod Bowen! Jack Clarke then came close to equalising for Ipswich as his effort curled just wide of the post before, in the 87th minute, Mohammed Kudus finished well to seal all 3 points for the visitors! In the end, it’s yet another defeat for Ipswich Town! Ipswich end their Premier League return 19th in the table, and who knows when we’ll see them at this level again! As for West Ham United, this was a good way for them to end their season! The Hammers finish 14th, but they would’ve been wanting an awful lot more!
Wolves 1-1 Brentford

After a terrible bit of play by Rayan Ait Nouri, Brentford had the lead inside 20 minutes as Bryan Mbeumo scored yet another goal! Keane Lewis-Potter then had a great chance to make it 2-0, but he dinked his effort onto the top of the net before Matheus Cunha fired a strike straight at Mark Flekken! Yoane Wissa then had a good chance to make it 2-0, but he couldn’t guide the ball past Jose Sa before Goncalo Guedes had a great opportunity which he scuffed off target! However, in the 75th minute, Wolves would have their equalising goal as Marshall Munetsi fired home brilliantly! In the end, this isn’t a bad point for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves do drop to 16th in the table after this result, but they comfortably stayed up so that’s all that matters this season! As for Brentford, they just weren’t quite able to make European Football! The Bees finish 10th in the league, but it’s still been a great season for them!
