Brighton VS Leeds

Brighton have lost away at both Manchester United and Arsenal during the past week, and they currently find themselves 13th in the league! When it comes to Leeds, they picked up a key 2-1 win over West Ham last time out, and they currently sit 15th in the table! In their previous 18 meetings, Brighton have won 11 times whilst Leeds have only won twice! For Brighton and Hove Albion, this is a game they should be winning! The Seagulls are ranked 8th in GPG (1.6), and they’re currently unbeaten at home this season! As for Leeds United, a win here would move them above their opponents! The Whites are ranked 13th in GPG (1.0), but they currently have the 5th-worst away record in the league!

My Prediction: 2-1

Burnley VS Arsenal

Burnley aim to pull off the unthinkable when they welcome League leaders Arsenal to Turf Moor! Burnley picked up a great 3-2 win away at Wolves last time out, and they currently sit 16th in the table! When it comes to Arsenal, they’ve picked up positive wins over both Crystal Palace and Brighton this past week, and they currently find themselves top of the league! In their previous 17 meetings, Burnley have only won once (December 2020) whilst Arsenal have won 13 times! For Burnley, it’s got to be all-out defence for them! The Clarets are ranked 10th in GPG (1.3), but 17th in GCPG (1.9)! As for Arsenal, this won’t be straightforward for them, but they absolutely should be winning this game! The Gunners are ranked 4th in GPG (1.8), and they’ve won each of their last 6 games without conceding a goal!

My Prediction: 0-1

Crystal Palace VS Brentford

Crystal Palace may have lost 1-0 at Arsenal last weekend, but they bounced back in style with a 3-0 win over Liverpool midweek (in the Carabao Cup), and they currently find themselves in 10th place! When it comes to Brentford, they’ve picked up strong wins over Liverpool and Grimsby this past week, and they currently sit 11th in the table! In their previous 8 meetings, Palace have only won once whilst Brentford have won twice (both last season)! For Crystal Palace, they need to use Wednesday’s momentum to turn their Premier League form around! The Eagles are ranked 10th in GPG (1.3), but they currently have the 5th-worst home record in the league! As for Brentford, they’ll be well up for this game! The Bees are ranked 8th in GPG (1.6), and they’ve managed to win 4 of their last 5 games!

My Prediction: 1-1

Fulham VS Wolves

Fulham host Wolves at Craven Cottage in what is a must-win game for both sides! Fulham lost late at Newcastle last weekend, before they escaped with a penalty shootout win over Wycombe in the Carabao Cup, and they currently sit 17th in the table! When it comes to Wolves, they’ve lost at home against both Burnley (2-3) and Chelsea (3-4) this past week, and they currently find themselves bottom of the league! In their previous 24 meetings, Fulham have only won 5 games compared to Wolves’ 12! For Fulham, they have to win this game! The Cottagers are ranked 13th in GPG (1.0), and they’re currently on a 4-game losing run in the league (9-3 on aggregate)! As for Wolverhampton Wanderers, they have to start winning games now; this run is unacceptable! Wolves are ranked 19th in GPG (0.8), and they’re currently on a 13-game winless run in the league (3D,10L)!

My Prediction: 1-1

Nottingham Forest VS Manchester United

Nottingham Forest suffered a 2-0 defeat away at Bournemouth last Sunday, and they currently find themselves inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th)! When it comes to Manchester United, they beat Brighton 4-2 last time out, and they currently find themselves up in 6th! In their previous 9 meetings, Forest have won a third of the time whilst Man United have won the other two thirds! Interestingly, Forest actually did the double over Man U last season! For Nottingham Forest, they can’t afford to become detached from the teams above! Forest are ranked 20th in GPG (0.6), and they currently have the third-worst home record in the league! As for Manchester United, this is actually a game that they should be winning! United are ranked 7th in GPG (1.7), and they’re currently on a 3-game winning run!

My Prediction: 0-2

Tottenham VS Chelsea

This week’s Saturday Night Football is an all-London clash as Tottenham host Chelsea! Tottenham brilliantly won 3-0 at Everton last weekend before they lost at Newcastle in the Cup midweek, and they currently find themselves third in the league! When it comes to Chelsea, they suffered a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to Sunderland last weekend before they won 4-3 at Wolves on Wednesday, and they currently sit 9th in the table! In their previous 38 meetings, Spurs have only won 6 games compared to 22 wins for Chelsea! For Tottenham Hotspur, this is actually a game that they need to win! Spurs are ranked 1st in GPG (1.9), but they currently have the 4th-worst home record in the league! As for Chelsea, they also need a result from this game! The Blues are also ranked 1st in GPG (1.9), and they currently have the third-best away record in the league!

My Prediction: 2-2

Liverpool VS Aston Villa

Aston Villa head to Anfield knowing they have a chance to win against a Liverpool team in dire need of a result! Liverpool have lost against both Brentford (3-2) and Crystal Palace (0-3) over the past 7 days, and they currently find themselves only in 7th place! When it comes to Aston Villa, they picked up a great 1-0 win against Manchester City last time out, and they currently sit 8th in the table! In their previous 27 meetings, Liverpool have won 16 games whilst Villa have won 6! For Liverpool, they have to win this game! The Reds are ranked 4th in GPG (1.8), but they’re currently on a 4-game losing run in the league! As for Aston Villa, they’ll fancy themselves here! Villa are ranked 13th in GPG (1.0), and they’re currently on a 4-game winning run in the league!

My Prediction: 1-2

West Ham VS Newcastle

West Ham suffered another loss last time out against Leeds, and they currently find themselves inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th)! When it comes to Newcastle, they’ve beaten both Fulham and Tottenham this past week, and they currently sit 12th in the table! In their previous 26 meetings, West Ham have won 7 times whilst Newcastle have won 13 times! For West Ham United, they need to sort their home form out! The Hammers are ranked 18th in GPG (0.8), and they currently have the worst home record in the league! As for Newcastle United, they’ll expect themselves to win this game! The Magpies are ranked 13th in GPG (1.0), and they’ve managed to win 5 of their last 6 games!

My Prediction: 0-3

Manchester City VS Bournemouth

The game of the weekend takes place in the second half of Super Sunday as Manchester City welcome high-flying Bournemouth to the Etihad! Manchester City lost 1-0 at Aston Villa last weekend before they bounced back midweek with a 3-1 win away at Swansea, and they currently sit 5th in the table! When it comes to Bournemouth, they beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 last time out, and they currently find themselves second in the league! In their previous 18 meetings, Man City have won 17 times, with Bournemouth’s only win coming in November last year (at the Vitality)! For Manchester City, they expect themselves to win here! City are ranked 1st in GPG (1.9) and 2nd in GCPG (0.8)! As for AFC Bournemouth, this is a real test for them! The Cherries are ranked 4th in GPG (1.8), and they’re currently on an 8-game unbeaten run in the league (5W,3D)!

My Prediction: 3-2

Sunderland VS Everton

Credit: Everton
Credit: Everton

Sunderland picked up a great 2-1 win away at Chelsea last weekend, and they currently find themselves 4th in the league! When it comes to Everton, they got thrashed 3-0 at home by Tottenham last time out, and they currently sit 14th in the table! In their previous 17 meetings, Sunderland have won 4 games compared to 9 wins for Everton! For Sunderland AFC, I think they’d be disappointed to not come away from this game with all 3 points! The Black Cats are ranked 12th in GPG (1.2), and they currently have the 4th-best home record in the league! As for Everton, they need to try and bounce back! The Toffees are ranked 13th in GPG (1.0) and 10th in GCPG (1.3)!

My Prediction: 1-0
