Everton 3-3 Manchester City

A 6-goal thriller resulted in Manchester City dropping 2 points at Everton in their hunt for Arsenal! After multiple misses from Manchester City, Gianluigi Donnarumma made sure to stop Beto from making it 1-0 to Everton, before Man City would enter the break in front following a great strike by Jeremy Doku! Michael Keane was then lucky not to be sent off after wiping out Doku, before Donnarumma made a big save to deny Iliman Ndiaye! However, in the 68th minute, Everton would find themselves back on level terms as Thierno Barry scored following a horrendous error by Marc Guehi! Just 5 minutes later, Everton had the lead through a Jake O’Brien header, before Barry made it 3-1 after 81 minutes! However, it didn’t take Man City long to get back into the game through Erling Haaland, before Jeremy Doku rescued a point for City in the 97th minute! In the end, it’s another late goal that’s killed Everton! The Toffees rise to 10th place, and they’ll head to Crystal Palace next time out! As for Manchester City, it’s definitely two points dropped, but it’s honestly impressive that they didn’t lose this game! City remain second in the league, and they know that they have to get back to winning ways against Brentford this Saturday!
Manchester United 3-2 Liverpool

Manchester United managed to hold on against Liverpool to all but seal a third-place finish this season! After just 6 minutes, Manchester United were already in front as Matheus Cunha’s effort flew in after a helpful deflection off Alexis Mac Allister! It then only took another 8 minutes for Man United’s lead to double as Benjamin Sesko was in the right place at the right time to give the hosts a strong cushion already! Bruno Fernandes then missed a great opportunity to make it 3-0, before Liverpool were back into the game just 2 minutes into the second half thanks to a great solo goal by Dominik Szoboszlai! However, having said that, Amad’s pass is lacklustre! In the 56th minute, Liverpool were back on level terms as Cody Gakpo scored following a shambolic attempt of a pass by Senne Lammens! What am I watching here?! But then, in the 77th minute, United’s lead would be restored as Kobbie Mainoo finished brilliantly! Overall, this is a win that probably guarantees Manchester United finishing third! United remain third in the league, and they’ll head to Sunderland next time out! As for Liverpool, they weren’t good enough yet again! The Reds stay 4th in the table, and their next game is a big one at home against Chelsea!
Chelsea 1-3 Nottingham Forest

Chelsea’s woefulness continued as Nottingham Forest moved a further step clear of the Relegation Zone! Inside 2 minutes, Nottingham Forest were already in front as Taiwo Awoniyi headed home well! Enzo Fernandez was then unlucky as his effort smashed the post, before Forest were awarded a penalty after Malo Gusto pulled Awoniyi back! Igor Jesus then stepped up and scored to double Forest’s lead after just 15 minutes! In stoppage time at the end of the first half, Chelsea were awarded a penalty after a nasty coming together between Zach Abbott and Jesse Derry! I hope both of them are okay! Cole Palmer was the one who stepped up from 12 yards out, but he saw his effort saved by Matz Sels! In the 52nd minute, Forest had a third as Awoniyi scored again, before Chelsea finally had a goal in the Premier League in the 93rd minute through Joao Pedro! What an amazing overhead kick! In the end, Chelsea are useless, absolutely useless! The Blues drop to 9th in the league, and they have to win next time out at Liverpool! As for Nottingham Forest, they’re absolutely flying! Forest remain 16th in the table, and they have a big trip to Aston Villa in the Europa League on Thursday before they host Newcastle in their next league game!
Leeds 3-1 Burnley

After just 8 minutes, Leeds already found themselves in front as Anton Stach scored from a long way out! In the 52nd minute, Noah Okafor capped off a brilliant team move to make it 2-0, whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin added a third just 4 minutes later! Martin Dubravka really needs to be doing better here! Burnley then had a goal ruled out for offside, before Loum Tchaouna was at least able to get one back in the 71st minute! Overall, Leeds United are all but safe now! The Whites rise to 14th in the table, and their next game is a big one away at Tottenham! As for Burnley, it’s yet another defeat for them! The Clarets remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th), and they’ll host Aston Villa next time out!
Newcastle 3-1 Brighton

Newcastle United finally got back to winning ways to hurt Brighton and Hove Albion’s European charge! After just 12 minutes, Newcastle had the lead as William Osula scored following a poor bit of goalkeeping by Bart Verbruggen! Then, another 12 minutes later, it was 2-0 as Dan Burn headed home well to get St. James’ Park bouncing! Newcastle then survived a scare, however, after Nick Pope’s pass deflected off Jack Hinshelwood and onto the post, before Malick Thiaw missed a golden opportunity to make it 3-0! In the 61st minute, Brighton would find themselves back in the game through Jack Hinshelwood, before Nick Pope pulled off an important save to keep Charalampos Kostoulas’ bicycle kick effort out! Yankuba Minteh then missed an absolute sitter right at the end of 90 minutes, before Yoane Wissa followed it up down at the other end with a poor miss of his own! However, in the 95th minute, we would get the fourth goal of the game as Harvey Barnes smashed one into the roof of the net to seal all 3 points for the hosts! Overall, this will make Newcastle United fans feel a little better! The Magpies rise to 13th place, and their next game is away at Nottingham Forest on Sunday! As for Brighton and Hove Albion, of course they lost this game! The Seagulls drop to 8th in the league, and they’ll host Wolves next time out!
Arsenal 3-0 Fulham

Arsenal thrashed Fulham to extend their lead in the Race for the Premier League Title! It only took Arsenal 9 minutes to take the lead, as Viktor Gyokeres scored following a great bit of play by Bukayo Saka! Bernd Leno then made a good save to deny Gyokeres a second, before Saka would make it 2-0 after 40! Then, in the 4th minute of additional time at the end of the first half, Viktor Gyokeres capped off a wonderful first half with his second and Arsenal’s third! In the second half, Leno made another good save to stop Gyokeres from completing his hat-trick, Riccardo Calafiori's headed effort came back out off the post (following a touch off Leno’s head)! Overall, this is a lot better by Arsenal! The Gunners remain top of the league, and they have to host Atletico Madrid in a massive Champions League Semi-Final tonight before they head to West Ham for their next league game! As for Fulham, they were useless in this game! The Cottagers drop to 11th in the table, and they’ll host Bournemouth next time out!
Brentford 3-0 West Ham

Brentford finally got back to winning ways with a thumping victory over Relegation-threatened West Ham United! After 15 minutes, Brentford found themselves in front courtesy of a Konstantinos Mavropanos own goal! Valentin Castellanos then came close to equalising; his effort coming back out off the post, before Mavropanos’ equalising goal was ruled out for a tight offside! Mads Hermansen then made an absolute mess at the back, but fortunately for him, Mikkel Damsgaard wasn’t able to find the back of the net before Castellanos hit the post again! In the second half, Brentford were awarded a penalty after Malick Diouf fouled Dango Ouattara, leading to Igor Thiago stepping up and scoring to double Brentford’s advantage! Crysencio Summerville and Tomas Soucek then added their names to the list of West Ham players who’ve hit the woodwork in this game, before Mikkel Damsgaard killed the game off in the 82nd minute! Overall, this is a win that Brentford fans have been waiting a long time for! The Bees rise to 7th in the table, and they’ll head to Manchester City next time out! As for West Ham United, this has not been a good weekend for them! The Hammers drop inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th), and their next game is a massive test at home against Arsenal!
Bournemouth 3-0 Crystal Palace

After only 10 minutes, Bournemouth already found themselves in front thanks to a pretty bizarre own goal by Jefferson Lerma! I think Lerma thought he was playing for Bournemouth again with this goal! Evanilson then had a good chance to double Bournemouth’s lead, but he failed to keep his effort down, before Rayan headed over! Dean Henderson then made an important save to deny Marcus Tavernier, before Bournemouth were awarded a penalty after Henderson fouled Marcos Senesi! What an absolute mess by the Crystal Palace Goalie! Junior Kroupi then stepped up and scored to make it 2-0 to the hosts, before Rayan added a third in the 77th minute! Ismaila Sarr then had a great chance to at least get one back for Palace, but he could only guide his effort onto the post! Overall, this is another strong result for AFC Bournemouth! The Cherries rise to 6th in the league, and they’ll head to Fulham next time out! As for Crystal Palace, they were really lacklustre here! The Eagles drop to 15th in the table, and their next week sees them play home games against both Shakhtar Donetsk and Everton!
Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur managed to move themselves out of the bottom 3 with a massive away win away at a very disappointing Aston Villa! After just 12 minutes, Tottenham had the lead thanks to a great strike by Conor Gallagher! Joao Palhinha then came close as his effort struck the post, before Spurs’ lead would be doubled courtesy of Richarlison! In the second half, Tyrone Mings missed a good opportunity to get Aston Villa back into the game, before Villa would get one back through Emiliano Buendia! However, It didn’t exactly matter as it came in the 96th minute! In the end, this is another really poor performance by Aston Villa! Villa stay 5th in the league, and they will look to turn things around against Nottingham Forest in the Semi-Finals of the Europa League on Thursday before they head to Burnley for their next league game! As for Tottenham Hotspur, this is a massive win for them! Spurs rise out of the Relegation Zone (and into 17th), and they’ll host Leeds next time out!
Wolves 1-1 Sunderland

It only took 17 minutes for Sunderland to take the lead through Nordi Mukiele, and my goodness me was this easy! However, Sunderland were then down to 10-men just 7 minutes later as Daniel Ballard was shown a straight red card for pulling the hair of Tolu Arokodare! Omar Alderete then pulled off a great goal-saving tackle to stop Yerson Mosquera from making it 1-1, before Wolves would have their equalising goal in the 54th minute through Santiago Bueno! This is almost a carbon copy of Mukiele’s goal! Robin Roefs then made a couple of important saves to deny both Mateus Mane and Adam Armstrong, before Arokodare missed a golden chance to win it for Wolves in stoppage time! In the end, Wolverhampton Wanderers had the chances to win this game! Wolves remain bottom of the league, and they’ll head to Brighton next time out! As for Sunderland AFC, that red card didn’t do them any favours whatsoever! The Black Cats stay 12th in the table, and their next game should be a good one as they welcome Manchester United to the Stadium of Light!
