Leeds United pulled off a great victory at the Molineux as Wolverhampton Wanderers slumped to 5 losses out of 5! After just 8 minutes, Wolves found themselves in front thanks to a calm finish by Ladislav Krejci (who scored on his Molineux debut)! In the 31st minute, Leeds were back on level terms as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored with a superb headed finish! Just 8 minutes later, and Leeds had the lead thanks to an unbelievable free kick attempt by Anton Stach, before Noah Okafor made it 3-1 just before halftime! In the second half, Marshall Munetsi had a couple of good opportunities to get Wolves back into the game, but he wasn’t able to guide the ball past Karl Darlow! In the end, it’s another terrible defeat for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves remain bottom of the league, and they host Everton in the Carabao Cup tomorrow before they face Tottenham on the weekend! As for Leeds United, this is a great win for them! The Whites rise to 12th in the table, and they host Bournemouth next time out!

Fulham 3-1 Brentford

After 20 minutes, it was Brentford who found themselves in front as Mikkel Damsgaard scored after a terrible error by Joshua King! In the 38th minute, Fulham were back on level terms through Alex Iwobi, and that scoreline didn’t last long as Harry Wilson made it 2-1 just 2 minutes later! This was a fabulous goal! Just 5 minutes into the second half, and it was 3-1 to Fulham courtesy of a crazy own goal by Ethan Pinnock! Rodrigo Muniz then thought he’d fired in a 4th for the hosts, but his goal was ruled out for a foul in the build-up! Overall, it’s another positive result for Fulham! The Cottagers rise to 8th in the league, and they host Cambridge in the Carabao Cup tomorrow before they head to Aston Villa (on Sunday)! As for Brentford, they were simply second best here! The Bees drop to 17th in the table, and they host Manchester United next time out!

Brighton 2-2 Tottenham

Despite being 2-0 down, Tottenham Hotspur were able to fight back to rescue a point at the expense of a home win for Brighton and Hove Albion! After just 8 minutes, Brighton had the lead through Yankuba Minteh, and whilst Minteh did brilliantly with the finish, where on earth was the defence?! In the 31st minute, Brighton had a second as Yasin Ayari fired one in, but honestly, I expect better from Guglielmo Vicario! Just a couple of minutes before halftime, Tottenham had one back through Richarlison, before Bart Verbruggen made a decent save to deny Xavi Simons in the second half! Simons then had another good opportunity to score, but he poorly dragged his effort wide of the target before Spurs had their equaliser courtesy of a Jan Paul van Hecke own goal! Van Hecke was really unlucky here! In the end, it’s actually ended up as a disappointing result for Brighton and Hove Albion! The Seagulls drop to 14th in the table, and they face away trips to Barnsley and Chelsea this upcoming week! As for Tottenham Hotspur, they did well to recover from a poor opening half an hour! Spurs remain third in the league, and they face Doncaster in the Carabao Cup midweek before they host Wolves in their next league game!

Liverpool 2-1 Everton

Liverpool held on to beat Merseyside Rivals Everton to further extend their lead at the top of the Premier League Table! After just 10 minutes, Liverpool already had the lead thanks to a great finish by Ryan Gravenberch! Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall then had a decent chance to equalise for Everton, but he blasted wide before Hugo Ekitike made it 2-0 to Liverpool in the 29th minute! In the second half, Mohamed Salah had a decent chance to score, but he could only guide his effort straight at Jordan Pickford before Everton had one back in the 58th minute through Idrissa Gana Gueye! Overall, though, it’s another 3 points for Liverpool! The Reds remain top of the league, and they host Southampton tomorrow night before they head to Crystal Palace for an exciting Premier League clash! As for Everton, they didn’t do enough to get back into this game! The Toffees drop to 10th in the table, and they face Wolves and West Ham in what could be a good upcoming week for them!

Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea

In a game where neither team finished with 11 men, it was Manchester United who got over the line to earn a big 3 points over Chelsea! After just 5 minutes, Chelsea were already down to 10 men as goalkeeper Robert Sanchez received a straight red card for wiping out Bryan Mbeumo! 9 minutes after that, and Manchester United got themselves in front through Bruno Fernandes! In the 37th minute, it was 2-0 to Man United as Casemiro headed home from close range, but honestly, the defending from Chelsea is absolutely woeful! However, despite scoring, Casemiro’s day would end abruptly as he got himself sent off right before halftime (second yellow card)! In the 80th minute, Chelsea were back in it thanks to a well-placed header by Trevoh Chalobah, but United were able to just about hold on to all 3 points! Overall, this was a much-needed win for Manchester United! United rise to 11th in the table, and they head to Brentford next time out! As for Chelsea, they’ve had a bad week! The Blues drop to 6th in the league, and they play away at Lincoln tomorrow night before they host Brighton on Saturday!

West Ham 1-2 Crystal Palace

Whilst Daichi Kamada failed to give Crystal Palace the lead early on, Jean-Philippe Mateta wasn’t going to miss from a couple of yards out as he headed Palace in front after 37 minutes! Maxence Lacroix was then unlucky as his headed effort came back out off the crossbar early in the second half, before West Ham were back on level terms through Jarrod Bowen! Of course it was Bowen! However, in the 68th minute, Crystal Palace had their noses back in front thanks to a ferocious volley from Tyrick Mitchell! In the end, it’s another home defeat for West Ham United! The Hammers remain inside the Relegation Zone (now in 19th), and they go to Everton next time out! As for Crystal Palace, it’s another positive result for them! The Eagles soar to 5th in the league, and their next game is a big one at home against Liverpool!

Arsenal 1-1 Manchester City

Despite Manchester City’s best efforts, they couldn’t quite hold on as Arsenal scored an injury-time equaliser! After just 8 minutes, it was Manchester City who found themselves in front thanks to a brilliant goal by Erling Haaland! Everything about this goal was excellent! Gianluigi Donnarumma then made an important save to stop Noni Madueke from equalising right on halftime before Martin Zubimendi fired his effort over the bar! Donnarumma then made another strong save, this time to deny Eberechi Eze, but in the 93rd minute, Arsenal weren’t to be denied anymore as Gabriel Martinelli finished superbly to finish the game off at 1-all! The finish from Martinelli is great, but Man City will absolutely be kicking themselves defensively! In the end, I don’t think Arsenal will be pleased about any part of this game! The Gunners remain second in the league, and they face away trips to Port Vale and Newcastle this upcoming week! As for Manchester City, they were so close here, but it wasn’t quite enough! City drop to 9th in the table, and they head to Huddersfield Wednesday Night before they host Burnley on the weekend!

Sunderland 1-1 Aston Villa

Despite having a man advantage, Aston Villa still weren’t able to deliver their first win of the season as Sunderland AFC fought back to earn another positive point! Evann Guessand had a good opportunity to put Aston Villa in front early on, but he guided his effort straight at Robin Roefs, before Reinildo was shown a straight red card after making a stupid decision! In the second half, Omar Alderete came close for Sunderland; his effort came back out off the crossbar, before Aston Villa finally had their first goal of the season through Matty Cash! Roefs should do so much better here; the goalkeeping is really poor! However, in the 75th minute, Sunderland were back on level terms courtesy of Wilson Isidor! Harvey Elliott and Ollie Watkins then had golden chances to win the game for Aston Villa late on, but they both failed to find the back of the net! In the end, this is a good point for Sunderland AFC! The Black Cats remain 7th in the league, and they head to Nottingham Forest next time out! As for Aston Villa, they will be kicking themselves nonstop after this one; how did they not win this game?! Villa stay inside the Relegation Zone (now in 18th), and they host Bologna in the Europa League Thursday Night before they play Fulham on Sunday!

Burnley 1-1 Nottingham Forest

After just 100 seconds, Nottingham Forest found themselves in front as Neco Williams fired home (via a deflection)! In the 20th minute, though, Burnley were back on level terms as Jaidon Anthony managed to squeeze his effort over the line! Martin Dubravka then made a good save to keep Dilane Bakwa’s effort out before Loum Tchaouna smashed the crossbar with a terrific free-kick attempt! In the second half, Anthony had another opportunity to score, but this time, his effort was kept out by Matz Sels before Dubravka made a strong save to deny Igor Jesus! Forest then had more chances to win it late on, but Martin Dubravka wasn’t to be beaten a second time! In the end, it’s a solid home point for Burnley! The Clarets rise to 16th in the table, and they host Cardiff in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night before they take on Manchester City at the Etihad! As for Nottingham Forest, they had more than enough chances to win this game! Forest drop to 15th in the table, and they start their European adventure at Real Betis Wednesday Night before they host Sunderland in their next league fixture!

Bournemouth 0-0 Newcastle

Nick Pope kept Tyler Adams’ early effort out, before Djordje Petrovic denied Jacob Murphy from giving Newcastle the lead! David Brooks then put the ball into the back of the net, but his goal was quickly ruled out for offside, before Malick Thiaw probably should’ve been shown a second yellow card (I honestly don’t understand how or why he wasn’t)! Justin Kluivert then had a free-kick opportunity to win it for Bournemouth at the death, but Nick Pope managed to get the better of him! In the end, it’s not exactly the result that AFC Bournemouth would’ve been hoping for! The Cherries remain 4th in the league, though, and they head to Leeds next time out! As for Newcastle United, this isn’t the worst result ever! The Magpies drop to 13th in the table, and they host Bradford midweek before a massive league clash with Arsenal!
