2026 NFL Week 9 Preview and Predictions: Part 2
(6-2) Denver Broncos @ Carolina Panthers (3-4)

The Carolina Panthers lost 19-27 to the Green Bay Packers in Week 8’s edition of Thursday Night Football, and they currently find themselves top of the NFC South (despite having a negative record)! As for Denver, they beat the Kansas City Chiefs last time out, and they currently lead the AFC West! In the end, I fully expect Denver to win this game! I rate The Broncos very highly; The Panthers, not so much!
(2-5) Houston Texans @ Los Angeles Chargers (0-7)

Arguably two of the three biggest flops of the season face off at SoFi Stadium as the Los Angeles Chargers play host to the Houston Texans! The Los Angeles Chargers lost for the 7th-straight Regular Season game last time out against the LA Rams, and they currently find themselves bottom of the AFC West (as the only winless team left in the league)! As for Houston, they enter Week 9 off the back of a Bye, and they currently sit second in the AFC South! In the end, I’m actually going to pick The Chargers to finally win a game! There’s no reason to have any faith in the LA Chargers right now, but honestly, I don’t have any faith in The Texans either!
(4-4) Las Vegas Raiders @ San Francisco 49ers (6-1)

The San Francisco 49ers are back after a much-needed Week 8 Bye, and they currently lead the NFC West (as the only team with a winning record)! As for Las Vegas, they got back to winning ways last time out against the New York Jets (at MetLife Stadium), and they currently sit third in the AFC West! In the end, I would expect The 49ers to get back to winning ways here! Whilst I do think Kurt Cousins is playing pretty damn well at the moment, this is a great chance for Brock Purdy and the Niners to hit the ground running again!
(5-3) Green Bay Packers @ New England Patriots (5-3)

By far the best non-Primetime game of the week sees the Green Bay Packers travel to Gillette Stadium to take on the New England Patriots! The New England Patriots were victorious in Miami over The Dolphins last time out, and they currently sit second in the AFC East! As for Green Bay, they beat the Carolina Panthers all the way back on Week 8’s Thursday Night Football, and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC North (despite the fact that they have a winning record)! In the end, I think The Patriots will just about edge this! I think this is going to be a great game, but I’m going with New England because of Drake Maye!
(3-5) Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks (4-4)

The Seattle Seahawks lost comfortably to the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football, and they currently sit second in the NFC West! As for Arizona, they managed to beat the Dallas Cowboys (in Texas) in Overtime last time out, and they currently find themselves bottom of the NFC West! In the end, I firmly expect The Seahawks to win this game! The Hawks at home shouldn’t be losing to The Cardinals!
(3-5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Chicago Bears (6-2)

The Chicago Bears picked up a stunning victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Week 8’s edition of Monday Night Football, and they currently find themselves second in the NFC North! As for Tampa Bay, they brilliantly beat the Atlanta Falcons 16-0 last time out, and they currently sit second in the NFC South! In the end, Chicago will win this game! Even if The Buccaneers are starting to improve, The Bears are absolutely flying right now!
(6-1) Buffalo Bills @ Minnesota Vikings (6-1)

It should be a star-studded Monday Night Football as the 6-1 Minnesota Vikings host the 6-1 Buffalo Bills! The Minnesota Vikings suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend in Detroit against The Lions, but they do still currently lead the NFC North! As for Buffalo, they thumped the Baltimore Ravens 36-10 last time out, and they currently lead the AFC East! In the end, I’m actually going to back my Podcast prediction by saying that Minnesota will win this game! Whilst The Bills are probably better, this is The Vikings’ moment to shine!
