The Winners and Losers of the 2025 London E-Prix Weekend

For one last time in Season 11, points and Championship positions were up for grabs in the final weekend of the season in London!

Winner: Nick Cassidy

Well, this is the easiest winner you’re ever going to get! Nick Cassidy had a perfect final weekend of the season, winning both Races as he bowed out at Jaguar TCS Racing in style! Nick was superb, he had so much more pace than anyone else, and the fact he’s managed to end up finishing second in the Drivers’ Standings is absolutely ridiculous given how disastrous the first few parts of his season were!
Loser: Oliver Rowland
Well it’s a good thing he’d already wrapped the Championship up because this weekend was pretty terrible from an Oliver Rowland point of view! Saturday wasn’t great, Nissan struggled for pace as he could only manage 11th, but it’s yesterday’s Race that stands out a little more to me as Ollie Rowland got super aggressive after clearly being angered by an earlier incident with Nyck de Vries! In fact, he nearly rammed de Vries into the wall a little later on whilst he also got desperate trying to keep Nico Muller behind, eventually wiping them both out of the E-Prix! Rowland was like a madman here, he was so over the edge, and it’s a pretty disappointing way to end what’s been a stellar season!
Winners: TAG Heuer Porsche

After years and years of not quite living up to their potential as a team, things finally clicked as TAG Heuer Porsche were crowned as World Champions of Season 11! The weekend itself was decent enough, Pascal Wehrlein scored a Podium (in P3) on Saturday whilst they scored double points yesterday! Ultimately, Porsche have won the Teams’ Championship by 29 points, and given they were the only team to have two drivers in the Top 8 overall, I’d say they earnt this Championship!
Losers: NEOM McLaren
I don’t think things could’ve gone much worse in NEOM McLaren’s final weekend in ABB FIA Formula E! Firstly, this was potentially Sam Bird’s final weekend in what has been a decorated Formula E career, and he retired from both Races! Taylor Barnard has arguably had the best and most impressive Rookie Season since Jake Dennis, and he too failed to score any points this weekend, with a DNF himself yesterday! Just wasn’t to be for McLaren, who end up 6th in the Teams’ Championship after a disappointing run in FE!
Winner: Nyck de Vries

The last person we’re going to talk about in this year’s Winners and Losers is none other than Nyck de Vries! Nyck has had a much better season than years previous, and this weekend was the perfect example of that as he managed to finish second on both Saturday and Sunday! This was a really impressive performance given the pace of Cassidy out front, and it’s meant that de Vries has ultimately finished 8th in the Championship! Not bad!
