Drew McIntyre Calls Out Nick Aldis, MFT VS The Wyatt Sick6
This week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown kicked off with a furious Drew McIntyre quickly calling out Nick Aldis to “make things right”! Nick arrived to state that Drew lost “fair and square”, and that it’s just how it goes sometimes! McIntyre then got in the face of Aldis, resulting in Jacob Fatu interrupting to state that if Drew should be angry with anyone, it’s him! Eventually, Drew McIntyre had had enough of all of this, quitting the show altogether! A McIntyre-Fatu feud is interesting on paper, but it really should involve the WWE Title after the last couple of months!
Grade: B-
Shinsuke Nakamura had more words for Tama Tonga, with Solo Sikoa warning Shinsuke to stay away from his family, before Trick Williams got in the face of Jacob Fatu! This entire exchange was great! It was then time for the opening match of the night as Solo Sikoa teamed up with Talla Tonga to take on Uncle Howdy and Erick Rowan of The Wyatt Sick6! If you’re a regular here, you would know that I am beyond done with this feud; it’s been going on for far too long, and it never ends! This match was okay, with Tonga and Rowan having some good moments together, but I just don’t care! After Nikki Cross picked up the sacred lantern, this was enough to distract Solo away from the job at hand, opening the door for Howdy to score the win with a Sister Abigail! Then, unbelievably, after Uncle Howdy celebrated with the lantern, Tama Tonga just attacked him and stole it back! What are we doing?!

Jade Cargill VS Michin, The Irresistible Forces VS Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair: WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, Damian Priest and R-Truth VS Los Garza
Damian Priest was quickly getting fed up with R-Truth’s antics, but he found a way to get his anger out when Los Garza challenged them to a match! Giulia then sent a warning to Tiffany Stratton before Michin was finally able to get her hands on Jade Cargill! In fairness to Michin, she took some good bumps here, particularly the one where she landed back-first onto the floor, but I have to question how and why this wasn’t a No Disqualification match given the fact that Mia Yim always walks around with a kendo stick! However, whilst this wasn’t offensive by any stretch, it was still over quite quickly, with Cargill scoring the win following Jaded! After the match was over, Jade cut a promo on Rhea Ripley, resulting in Ripley coming out to do the same thing! These two are terrible together!
Grade: C+
Cody Rhodes was more than happy with the contract that Nick Aldis had handed to him, but the same couldn’t be said for Sami Zayn, who fired another set of complaints at Cody! Michin was then in no mood to hear anything from Rhea Ripley, before Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair were set to challenge The Irresistible Forces for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships! However, before the match got underway, The Bella Twins decided to show up in their hometown of Phoenix, Arizona to state that they’re next in line when it comes to the Women’s Tag Team Titles! How?! Anyway, the match itself was going alright until Lash Legend and Nia Jax decided to take out The Bellas! This resulted in Nikki and Brie causing a disqualification, only for Legend and Jax to lay everyone out! What a waste of time all of this was!
Grade: D
After more terrible comedy by R-Truth, Jelly Roll was delighted to see his good friend Randy Orton backstage! The Bella Twins then confirmed to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair that they will be challenging The Irresistible Forces next week, before Damian Priest and R-Truth were ready to take on Los Garza in Tag Team action! I really don’t understand what we’re doing with Damian Priest; yes, his star level has gone down, but it shouldn’t be this low! Los Garza are a really good team, underrated in fact, but this was never about them! As expected, Priest and Truth scored another win, and they’d better not win the Tag Gold!

Miz TV (Featuring Jelly Roll), Kiana James VS Tiffany Stratton, Jacob Fatu VS Trick Williams
Johnny Gargano is still depressed, whilst Chris Sabin isn’t happy with Alex Shelley’s want to help him! Danhausen once again cursed The Miz in another backstage segment, before Miz headed down to the ring to welcome Jelly Roll to Miz TV! The Miz took all of the credit for Jelly Roll’s improved lifestyle, something Jelly didn’t take too kindly to, whilst Kit Wilson then decided to show up because he finds the Grammy Award-Winning singer “Toxic”! This segment then ended with Jelly Roll “accidentally” flooring The Miz (he was aiming for Kit), and what a random choice for a WrestleMania feud this is!

Grade: C+
After a brilliant backstage interaction between Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov, Tiffany Stratton was out next as she was set to go one-on-one with Kiana James! These two had a decent little match; there wasn’t much to it, but it was completely harmless! In a backstage segment before this match, Tiffany decided to push away the wheelchair of Chelsea Green (she must have learned that from Damian Priest), and eventually, Green showed up to try and cause a DQ finish with some sort of pink weapon! Giulia stopped this, and this proved to be a mistake as it was Stratton who eventually beat James following a Prettiest Moonsault Ever!
Grade: C+
After he came face-to-face with Sami Zayn backstage, Trick Williams was ready to take on Jacob Fatu in the Main Event match of the night! Trick Williams is doing a similar thing to what Carmelo Hayes did when he arrived on the Main Roster: having plenty of big matches against big names, only to lose! However, that wasn’t the case here, with Trick actually winning here! Now, that was mostly due to Drew McIntyre already returning to take out Jacob Fatu, but Williams won’t care! There really isn’t that much else to say about this match; it was just there!
Grade: C+
Undisputed WWE Championship Contract Signing
The final segment of this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown was the Undisputed WWE Championship Contract Signing between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton! Cody talked about his history with Randy and how much he appreciates him, whilst Randy seemed disappointed at the fact that he’s not facing Drew McIntyre, as that would’ve been far easier for him! After both men signed the contract and hugged, Orton shockingly attacked Rhodes, but not just with any attack, a quite vicious assault! Randy Orton absolutely destroyed Cody Rhodes here, busting the Undisputed WWE Champion wide open to the point where Jelly Roll tried to get involved! This wasn’t smart, and eventually, Orton absolutely wrecked Rhodes with a chair shot to the head, with the show going off the air with a bloodied American Nightmare starting at The Viper with gold in hand! Whilst this show was pretty poor for the most part, this was a terrific Heel turn!
