CM Punk Starts the Show, Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella VS The Judgment Day
After winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event, CM Punk arrived to celebrate his victory to kick start this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw! Punk was very happy to be the new World Heavyweight Champion, but he’s also well aware that this puts a big target on his back! However, Punk wants to face the best of the best, as he name-dropped the likes of AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh, before Logan Paul made his return after a couple of months away! CM Punk certainly wasn’t interested in having anything to do with The Maverick, but Logan made it clear that he wants to be a World Champion! This is when The Vision interrupted, with Bron Breakker making it clear that he’s not waiting to recapture Gold any longer, and this started a brawl which Paul eventually tried to make the save in! However, this didn’t work, with Logan getting nailed with a TSUNAMI before Punk chased Bron and Bronson off with a steel chair! This was certainly an interesting way to start the show, but I have no problem with Logan Paul being involved!

It was then quickly time for the first match of the night as Nikki Bella teamed up with Stephanie Vaquer to take on The Judgment Day! Roxxane Perez and Raquel Rodriguez have turned out to be one of the best Tag Teams of 2025; it might not have been planned, but it’s worked out an absolute treat! Stephanie Vaquer is, of course, very, very good, but I’m still very confused about what we’re doing with Nikki Bella, because she’s really not adding anything to the product right now! Eventually, after Raquel dealt with Stephanie, Roxanne was able to nail Nikki with a Pop Rox to score a pinfall victory on the Hall of Famer for the second-straight week, and all of this just feels a bit odd!

El Grande Americano VS Penta, Dominik Mysterio Gets Interrupted
After Jey Uso offered to team with CM Punk against The Vision, El Grande Americano was out next as the reigning NXT Speed Champion went one-on-one with Penta! I had so much fun with this match, it was a really good time! I thought the commentary between Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett was superb; I was genuinely laughing at points, and the in-ring was great! Both Reyo and Bravo tried their best to help their mentor out, only to get chucked out, before Penta delivered a super Mexican Destroyer on Americano (who landed on the steel plate in his mask) to get the win! Fair play to everyone involved!
Grade: B
After The Kabuki Warriors cut a promo in Japanese talking about why they’re the best Women’s Tag Team in all of WWE, Dominik Mysterio came down to the ring to celebrate his greatness! Dominik made it clear that he’s the greatest Luchador of All Time, with his Intercontinental and AAA Mega Championships proving that! This is when Rey Mysterio interrupted his son to make it clear that Dom is disrespecting all the greats that have come before him, and this is when Dominik fired back with a brilliant line about Eddie Guerrero being his Dad! Eventually, a brawl began, and as long as Dominik wins this feud, this is an alright story to do!

Bayley and Lyra Valkyria VS The Kabuki Warriors, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee VS The Judgment Day: World Tag Team Championships
Bayley told Lyra Valkyria that she can trust her, even if she has doubts, before a fired-up Becky Lynch jumped onto the announce table to have a complete crash out over The Vision and Maxxine Dupri! Becky was then met on the entrance ramp by The Kabuki Warriors, as Asuka and Kairi Sane were set to take on the duo of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria! I thought this was pretty decent; everyone involved is super talented, and I really am enjoying the work that Asuka and Kairi are doing! It was also unclear as to which way this match would go, with both Bayley and Asuka capable of berating their partner if the result didn’t go their way, but eventually, neither of those things happened as Asuka just made Lyra tap out! After the match was over, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair ran down to chase away The Kabuki Warriors, and we’re certainly getting closer to WarGames now!
Grade: C+
The Judgment Day were in the middle of celebrating Raquel Rodriguez getting an opportunity at the Women’s World Championship, but the mood quickly shifted in the Clubhouse after Dominik Mysterio walked in! Finn Balor and JD McDonagh said they might have had Dominik’s back had he invited them to his little celebration, and it was Roxanne Perez who told Dom to go be in the corner of Finn and JD! This was actually perfect timing as The Judgment Day were then ready to try and recapture the World Tag Team Championships from AJ Styles and Dragon Lee! These guys have really good chemistry together; this isn’t the first time (not even close) that these 4 men have produced great in-ring work together, and it always flows really well! There were also some good near-falls in this one, particularly when Dominik Mysterio nailed AJ Styles with a shillelagh! However, Dragon Lee was able to break the pinfall up before Sheamus made his presence known to even the odds! After a bunch of chaos, eventually, AJ was able to drop McDonagh with a Styles Clash to get the win, meaning the reign of “AJ Lee” is set to continue!

CM Punk and Jey Uso VS The Vision
After Nikki Bella apologised to Stephanie Vaquer, Paul Heyman got in the ear of Jey Uso, and Adam Pearce announced the first two matches in the “Last Time is Now Tournament” (Damian Priest VS Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura VS Sheamus), it was Main Event time as opponents from Saturday came together as CM Punk and Jey Uso looked to take down The Vision! Jey and Punk work well together; I like that they’re both over with the crowd, but also not necessarily “good guys”! The Vision are also great, with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed firmly establishing themselves as Main Event players over the past few months, and it’s just the norm now for them to compete on this stage! What I realised quite quickly with this match is that no one here could afford to lose, with only Jey Uso making any real sense! Because of this, WWE decided not to end this match clean, with a double count-out taking place after all four men brawled around ringside! After The Vision wiped out Jey, Logan Paul ran down to align himself with Punk, only to lay the World Heavyweight Champion out with his One Lucky Punch! Paul Heyman then made it clear that the ball is in Logan’s court, and this is when The Maverick decided to hand over his brass knuckles to Heyman, seemingly aligning himself with The Vision ahead of WarGames! This was actually pretty cool!
