Logan Paul Starts the Show, AJ Styles and Penta VS The Judgment Day

The final Monday Night Raw before Saturday Night’s Main Event kicked off with Logan Paul going through a list of facts regarding “Main Event” Jey Uso! Some of them were positive, like the fact that Jey Uso tapped out Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, but others were about how it took Jey 12 years more to win his first singles Title in comparison to The Maverick! This actually brought out Gunther who showed a lot of respect to Logan in the early phase for all of the hard work he has put in to be a true entrepreneur! However, the fact Paul is so confident he’s going to beat Uso on Saturday tells him that he must think he’s better than The Ring General, and that’s just wrong! Whilst Logan sees this as a business, Gunther takes this industry very personally, and if Logan Paul takes the opportunity for Gunther to get revenge on Jey Uso away, things are going to get very personal between them! Gunther then left the ring as Jey then appeared to leave Logan laying! I actually enjoyed this segment, I thought it was a good start to the show!

Roxanne Perez officially signed her Monday Night Raw contract before Paul Heyman told Jey Uso that Bron Breakker is coming to stop his momentum tonight! It was then time for the first match of the night as AJ Styles and Penta teamed up to take on The Judgment Day! Firstly, AJ and Penta were wearing matching red, white, and black gear which was actually pretty cool, and they actually worked really well as a team! I really enjoyed the bits between AJ and JD McDonagh, all of the wrestling between those two was really good, and yeah, this was a good match! However, the ending wasn’t clean as El Grande Americano appeared from the crowd and attacked Penta with his exposed mask, opening the door for Finn Balor to deliver a Coup de Grace to earn The Judgment Day an important win!

Becky Lynch VS Roxanne Perez VS Natalya, Grayson Waller VS Sheamus, Rhea Ripley VS Zoey Stark VS Kairi Sane: Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches

Becky Lynch told Iyo Sky that she’s coming for the Women’s World Championship before Seth “Freakin” Rollins got into the ear of Logan Paul! It was then time for the first Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match of the night as Roxanne Perez looked to start her new life on Raw with a victory against the veteran duo of Becky Lynch and Natalya! This match was very mixed, the action between Becky and Roxanne was pretty good, but every time Natalya got involved, everything slowed down so much! Ultimately, this was kind of just there in the end, it was pretty missable, but I guess the only thing of real note was Lyra Valkyria arrived and attacked Lynch, costing The Man a chance to qualify for Money in the Bank! Instead, that honour went to Roxanne Perez as The Prodigy nailed Nattie with a Pop Rox to get the win!

Sami Zayn told Jey Uso that he’d have his back if Seth “Freakin” Rollins tried to get involved in his match with Bron Breakker before Adam Pearce granted Akira Tozawa a match with Rusev for next week’s show! The New Day and Chad Gable’s “alliance” then seemed to continue in a backstage segment before Sheamus headed down to the ring to go one-on-one with Grayson Waller! This was a pretty standard match, Grayson tried his best to work over Sheamus, but The Celtic Warrior was simply too big and strong! Honestly, the biggest takeaway I got from this match is the crowd started to chant/cheer Austin Theory, and that was very random, but I liked it! Waller tried to walk off at one point, but Theory wouldn’t let him, and this just opened the door up for Sheamus to deliver a Brogue Kick to get the win!

Seth “Freakin” Rollins found Gunther next as he praised him for his World Heavyweight Championship reign before Rhea Ripley, Zoey Stark, and returning Kairi Sane clashed in the second Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier of the night! It was great to see Kairi Sane, it would’ve been a lot cooler had WWE kept it as a surprise, but they decided not to so that how’s it is! I thought this was a better match than the earlier Triple Threat, but unfortunately, it didn’t stay as a Triple Threat for very long as Zoey Stark suffered a really bad landing that legitimately took her out of the contest! I really hope Zoey is okay because she is really good at what she does! Anyway, this left us to have a singles match between Ripley and Sane, and in the end, Rhea was able to produce the victory following a Riptide!

Jey Uso VS Bron Breakker

After Rusev cut a promo and Roxanne Perez brought Dominik Mysterio a gift, it was Main Event time as Jey Uso took on Bron Breakker! This was a good match, both guys did well, I view Bron Breakker as a Main Event Superstar so him facing the World Heavyweight Champion made sense, and this was what I expected! Speaking of expected, after Paul Heyman tripped Jey Uso up, Seth “Freakin” Rollins attacked Jey from behind to cause the DQ, only for CM Punk and Sami Zayn to arrive and make the save! Punk, Sami, Seth, and Bron then all brawled through the crowd, opening the door for Logan Paul to leave Jey Uso laying once again with another One Lucky Punch!
