A late, late penalty saved Manchester United’s skin as they barely beat Burnley at Old Trafford! After 27 minutes, Manchester United had the lead thanks to a really unfortunate own goal for Josh Cullen! Talk about luck (or lack of for Burnley)! Amad then had a great chance to make it 2-0 which he poorly struck off-target before Burnley were back on level terms in the 55th minute through Lyle Foster! Just 2 minutes later, though, Man United were back in front as Bryan Mbeumo scored his first goal for the club before Jaidon Anthony equalised for Burnley (again, in the 66th minute)! But then, in additional time at the end of the game, Manchester United were awarded a penalty after Amad was pulled back, resulting in Bruno Fernandes scoring 97th-minute winner! Overall, Manchester United got away with one here! United rise to 9th in the league, and their next game is a big one away at Manchester City! As for Burnley, they’ll be gutted to have lost here! The Clarets drop to 14th in the table, and they host Liverpool next time out!

After just 7 minutes, Everton already had their noses in front as Beto headed home from close range! 14 minutes later, and Wolves were back on level terms as Hwang Hee-Chan scored following a terrific ball across by Marshall Munetsi! In the 33rd minute, Everton found themselves back in front as Iliman Ndiaye tapped home from close range! 10 minutes into the second half, and the visitors had a third as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall fired one home brilliantly! Whilst Wolves did lose the ball far too easily, this was a good finish! In the 79th minute, Wolves were able to get one back through Rodrigo Gomes (after a terrible bit of defending by Vitaliy Mykolenko) before Gomes missed a great opportunity to equalise right at the end! In the end, it’s 3 defeats from 3 for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves drop to bottom of the league, and they will head to Newcastle following the International Break! As for Everton, it’s a strong week for them! The Toffees rise to 5th in the table, and they host Aston Villa next time out!

Crystal Palace shone as Aston Villa failed to score again! Matty Cash arguably should’ve been sent off early on, but VAR were wonderful (as always) before Crystal Palace were awarded a penalty after Marco Bizot fouled Daichi Kamada! Jean-Philippe Mateta then stepped up and scored to give Palace the lead inside 21 minutes! Ollie Watkins then had a good chance to equalise for Aston Villa, but his effort was saved brilliantly by Dean Henderson before Henderson made another good save in the second half; this time to deny Morgan Rogers! In the 68th minute, Crystal Palace had a second as Marc Guehi finished superbly well after a shocking bit of defensive play from Aston Villa (what was the Goalie doing?)! And then, in the 78th minute, Ismaila Sarr added a third to seal a terrific away day for the visitors! In the end, Aston Villa look like a shambles! Villa drop inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th), and their next game is a must-win away at Everton! As for Crystal Palace, they were unbelievable here! Palace rise to 8th in the league, and they host Sunderland next time out!

West Ham United managed to stun Nottingham Forest with 3 late goals to earn an even more crucial 3 points! After Lucas Paqueta forced Matz Sels into a strong save, Sels was forced into another save, this time to deny Callum Wilson! However, in the 84th minute, West Ham finally had the lead as Jarrod Bowen scored a crucial captain’s goal! Just 4 minutes later, and Lucas Paqueta doubled West Ham’s advantage from the penalty spot before Callum Wilson added a third in the 91st minute! In the end, this was a shocker from Nottingham Forest; what the heck happened?! Forest drop to 10th in the league, and they head to Arsenal next time out! As for West Ham United, wow, where did this come from?! The Hammers rise to 16th in the table, and they host Tottenham after the International Break!

A late goal was enough for Brighton and Hove Albion to complete a comeback against a worrying Manchester City side! James Trafford made a decent save to keep Kaoru Mitoma’s effort out before Erling Haaland forced a save out of Bart Verbruggen! In the 34th minute, it was Manchester City who found themselves in front as Erling Haaland scored a real poacher’s goal! In the second half, James Trafford made another save to stop Yankuba Minteh from equalising before Brighton were awarded a penalty after Matheus Nunes stupidly put his arms up! James Milner then stepped up and scored to level the game up at 1-1! And then, in the 89th minute, Brajan Gruda went round multiple players to score brilliantly, snatching all 3 points for Brighton! Overall, what a huge win this is for Brighton and Hove Albion! The Seagulls rise to 11th in the league, and they head to Bournemouth next time out! As for Manchester City, it’s another poor defeat for them! City drop to 13th in the table, and their next game is a must-win at home to Manchester United!

Another late goal resulted in a massive turnaround for Sunderland (at the expense of Brentford)! After nothing really happened in the first half, Brentford were awarded a penalty in the 59th minute after Reinildo fouled Nathan Collins, but it didn’t end up mattering as Kevin Schade saw his penalty saved by Robin Roefs! Habib Diarra then had a decent chance to score, but he couldn’t guide his effort on target before Brentford finally had the lead in the 77th minute through Igor Thiago! However, Sunderland were then awarded a penalty very quickly after, and it was Enzo Le Fee who stepped up and scored to make it 1-1 after 82 minutes! And then, in the 96th minute, Wilson Isidor scored a dramatic equaliser with a header that Caoimhin Kelleher really should’ve kept out! Overall, what a great win for Sunderland! The Black Cats rise to 6th in the league, and they head to Crystal Palace following the international break! As for Brentford, how on earth did they lose this game?! The Bees drop to 15th in the table, and they host Chelsea next time out!

Fulham thought they’d brilliantly taken the lead in the 21st minute through young 18-year-old Josh King, but his goal was ruled out due to a “foul” earlier in the move! I’m sorry, but this is a shocking decision; how can the referee call it a clumsy challenge when he hasn’t even tried to tackle him?! Moises Caicedo then pulled out a brilliant block to deny Timothy Castagne before Chelsea had the lead in the 9th minute of additional time through Joao Pedro! In the second half, Chelsea were awarded a penalty for a handball against Ryan Sessegnon, and it was Enzo Fernandez who stepped up and scored to make it 2-0 after 56 minutes! Overall, it’s another win for Chelsea! The Blues rise to second in the league, and they head to Brentford for their next game! As for Fulham, they have every right to feel aggrieved here! The Cottagers drop inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th), and they host Leeds next time out!

A superbly executed free-kick was enough for Liverpool to edge out Arsenal for a crucial 3 points! Noni Madueke forced Alisson into a decent save early on before Florian Wirtz forced David Raya to also make a save! And then, in the 83rd minute, this game finally had a goal as Dominik Szoboszlai scored a wonder free kick to earn Liverpool a crucial win! Overall, what a big win this is for Liverpool! The Reds rise to top of the league, and they head to Burnley next time out! As for Arsenal, they can’t believe they’ve lost this game! The Gunners drop to third in the table, and they host Nottingham Forest after the break!

An inspired AFC Bournemouth handed Thomas Frank his first defeat as Tottenham Hotspur manager! After just 5 minutes, Bournemouth already had the lead as Evanilson’s effort took a crucial deflection off Cristian Romero! Antoine Semenyo then had a golden chance to make it 2-0 inside 11 minutes, but he poorly failed to keep his headed effort down before Semenyo fired a much better effort in the second half, forcing a great save out of Guglielmo Vicario! There was then absolute chaos as David Brooks hit the crossbar, Bournemouth could’ve been awarded a penalty, and Antoine Semenyo probably should’ve been sent off all in the space of 30 seconds! Mayhem in England’s capital! Vicario then made another great save, this time to deny Brooks before Mathys Tel came so close to equalising for Tottenham! In the end, Tottenham Hotspur were really poor here! Spurs drop to 4th in the league, and they head to West Ham in two weeks’ time! As for AFC Bournemouth, they were absolutely brilliant here; they deserved to win by a lot more! The Cherries rise to 7th in the league, and they host Brighton next time out!

Gabriel Gudmundsson made a good block to stop William Osula from scoring before Jacob Murphy forced a decent save out of Lucas Perri!
