Manchester United continued their positive run of form with a commanding 4-2 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion! After 24 minutes, Manchester United had the lead as Matheus Cunha netted his first goal for the club! It only took another 10 minutes for Man United to grab a second thanks to Casemiro’s strike taking a wicked deflection off Yasin Ayari! In the 61st minute, United had a third through Bryan Mbeumo, but Brighton were at least able to get one back courtesy of a wonderful Danny Welbeck free-kick! In the 92nd minute, it was 3-2 as Charalampos Kostoulas scored his first goal for the visitors, but it didn’t end up mattering as Mbeumo fired one in in the 96th minute to seal all 3 points for United! Overall, it’s a third-straight win for Manchester United! United rise to 6th in the league, and they head to Nottingham Forest next time out! As for Brighton and Hove Albion, they took far too long to get into this game! The Seagulls drop to 13th in the table, and they face Arsenal away from home in the Carabao Cup midweek before they host Leeds in their next league game!

Wolves 2-3 Burnley

A devastating 95th-minute winner earned Burnley a massive 3 points as Wolverhampton Wanderers’ terrible start to the season continues! After just 14 minutes, Burnley already had the lead through Zian Flemming, and I have to say, this finish was superb! In the 30th minute, it was 2-0 to Burnley as Flemming scored again! However, Wolves were then awarded a penalty after Santiago Bueno was fouled, and this led to Jorgen Strand Larsen stepping up and scoring from the penalty spot! In the 4th minute of additional time at the end of the first half, Wolves were back level as Marshall Munetsi headed home to cap off what was a whirlwind of a first half! But then, in the 95th minute, Lyle Foster managed to guide the ball past Sam Johnstone to seal a dramatic winner for Burnley right at the death! However, Bueno then looked like he was going to equalise for Wolves, but he was denied by one of the saves of the season by Martin Dubravka! In the end, this is a really hard loss to take for Wolverhampton Wanderers! Wolves remain bottom of the league, and they host Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday before they head to Fulham on Saturday! As for Burnley, this is such an amazing win for them! The Clarets rise to 16th in the table, and they host Arsenal next time out!

Brentford 3-2 Liverpool

An inspired Brentford sealed a massive 3 points as Liverpool suffered their 4th-straight Premier League defeat! After just 5 minutes, Brentford had the lead as Dango Ouattara finished off a perfectly played long throw-in! Liverpool were then asking for a penalty after Cody Gakpo was brought down, but nothing was given before Brentford went up the other end and scored through Kevin Schade! Right before half time, though, Liverpool had one as Milos Kerkez scored deep into stoppage time, but it was Brentford who responded perfectly as they were awarded a penalty after Virgil van Dijk fouled Ouattara! Igor Thiago then stepped up and scored to put the hosts in a commanding position! Liverpool were able to get one back in the 89th minute courtesy of Mohamed Salah, but it didn’t change the outcome! Overall, what a cracking win this is for Brentford! The Bees rise to 11th in the table, and they have away trips to Grimsby and Crystal Palace this upcoming week! As for Liverpool, it’s another poor performance from them! The Reds drop to 7th in the league, and they have a big week incoming at home to both Crystal Palace (in the Cup) and Aston Villa (in the League)!

Everton 0-3 Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur’s brilliant away run continued with a historic first away victory at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium! Jack Grealish had a great chance to give Everton the lead early on, but his effort was blocked well by Pedro Porro, before Tottenham had the lead in the 19th minute courtesy of Micky van de Ven! This was such a well-worked set-piece goal! Everton then thought they’d got back on level terms through Jake O’Brien, but his headed effort was ruled out for off-the-ball interference! In the 6th minute of additional time at the end of the first half, Tottenham had a second and so did van de Ven! In the second half, Guglielmo Vicario pulled off a wonderful save to stop Beto from scoring an overhead kick, before Vicario made another good save to keep out Iliman Ndiaye’s deflected effort! And then, in the 89th minute, Spurs had all 3 points firmly secured thanks to Pape Sarr! In the end, this wasn’t the best day for Everton! The Toffees drop to 14th in the table, and they head to Sunderland next time out! As for Tottenham Hotspur, this is a really strong result! Spurs rise to third in the league, and they have a big week coming up away at Newcastle (in the Carabao Cup) and at home to Chelsea (in the PL)!

Chelsea 1-2 Sunderland

A late, late winner was enough for Sunderland AFC to stun Chelsea and Stamford Bridge into silence! After just 4 minutes, Chelsea already had the lead as Alejandro Garnacho netted his first goal in a blues shirt! However, in the 22nd minute, Sunderland were back on level terms as Wilson Isidor was able to flick the ball into the back of the net! Robin Roefs then made himself big to stop Garnacho from scoring his second goal of the game, before, in the 93rd minute, Chemsdine Taibi slotted home coolly to earn Sunderland a dramatic late victory! In the end, it’s another frustrating Premier League afternoon for Chelsea! The Blues drop to 9th in the table, and they head to Wolves on Wednesday followed by a big away trip to Tottenham! As for Sunderland AFC, they’re on an absolute roll right now! The Black Cats rise to 4th in the league, and they host Everton on Monday Night Football next time out!

Leeds 2-1 West Ham

Leeds United picked up a crucial win over West Ham United in an early Relegation 6-pointer! After just 3 minutes, Leeds already found themselves in front through Brenden Aaronson, and all I have to say to this is that the defending by West Ham is absolutely diabolical! Just 12 minutes later, and it was 2-0 to Leeds as Joe Rodon headed home from close range! West Ham then thought they’d got a goal back through Lucas Paqueta, but his effort was ruled out for offside, before Tomas Soucek missed a golden opportunity from just a few yards out! In the second half, Aaronson came close to scoring again as his deflected effort crashed off the crossbar, before West Ham fans were at least given something to celebrate as Mateus Fernandes headed home with little time remaining! Overall, this is an important win for Leeds United! The Whites rise to 15th in the table, and they will head to Brighton next time out! As for West Ham United, it’s another poor result for them! The Hammers remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th), and their next game is a key one at home to Newcastle!

Newcastle 2-1 Fulham

Nick Woltemade should’ve put Newcastle in front early on, but he could only guide his effort straight onto the post before Bernd Leno tipped Jacob Murphy’s effort onto the post! However, in the 18th minute, Newcastle would have the lead as Murphy finished off well after a poor mistake by Calvin Bassey! Jacob Murphy then found himself in on goal again, but this time he couldn’t beat Leno, before Fulham were back on level terms in the 56th minute through Sasa Lukic! Bruno Guimaraes then missed a golden opportunity to put Newcastle back in front before Bernd Leno made another good save, this time to deny Sandro Tonali! And then, in the 90th minute, Bruno Guimaraes did get his goal as he scored on the rebound to earn a late winner for Newcastle! Overall, this is an important 3 points for Newcastle United! The Magpies rise to 12th in the league, and they will host Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday followed by an away trip to West Ham! As for Fulham, it’s now 4-straight losses for them! The Cottagers drop to 17th in the table, and they have an important week incoming with games against Wycombe and Wolves!

Bournemouth 2-0 Nottingham Forest

After 25 minutes, Bournemouth had the lead as Marcus Tavernier managed to score directly from a corner! However, it probably shouldn’t have been a corner in the first place! In the 40th minute, it was 2-0 to Bournemouth as Eli Junior Kroupi finished superbly well! In the second half, Djordje Petrovic pulled out a really good save to stop Morgan Gibbs-White from getting Nottingham Forest back into the game, before Bournemouth missed a couple of chances to win by an even bigger margin! Overall, it’s yet another positive victory for AFC Bournemouth! The Cherries rise to second in the league, and their next game is a massive one away at Manchester City! As for Nottingham Forest, this wasn’t the Premier League return that Sean Dyche was looking for! Forest remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th), and they host Manchester United next time out!

Arsenal 1-0 Crystal Palace

1 goal was all that was needed for Arsenal to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League! After Dean Henderson managed to keep Leandro Trossard’s effort out, in the 39th minute, Arsenal had the lead as Eberechi Eze scored against his former club!   In the second half, Gabriel’s headed effort came back out off the post before Dean Henderson made a good reaction to deny Declan Rice on the rebound! Viktor Gyokeres then had a great chance to seal all 3 points for Arsenal at the end, but he poorly headed wide! Overall, it’s another win and clean sheet combination for Arsenal! The Gunners remain top of the league, and their next week sees them face Brighton and Burnley! As for Crystal Palace, they didn’t really create anything in this game! The Eagles drop to 10th in the table, and they have a big Carabao Cup game away at Liverpool on Wednesday before they host Brentford in their next league game!

Aston Villa 1-0 Manchester City

Manchester City’s terrible form at Villa Park continued as Aston Villa earned their 4th-straight Premier League victory! Despite being dominated in the early phases, it was Aston Villa who found themselves in front as Matty Cash fired one home after 19 minutes! Erling Haaland then had a great chance to get Manchester City back on level terms soon after, but he failed to beat Emiliano Martinez! John Stones then pulled off an important block to stop John McGinn from making it 2-0, before Man City were asking for a penalty after Morgan Rogers shoved Josko Gvardiol! I’m surprised this wasn’t looked at more! In the second half, Pau Torres pulled out a great block/clearance to stop Savinho from making it 1-1, before Gianluigi Donnarumma made an important save to deny Jadon Sancho! Erling Haaland then somehow managed to squeeze the ball over the line for City, but the goal wouldn’t stand due to an offside call against Omar Marmoush! Overall, this is a strong win for Aston Villa! Villa rise to 8th in the table, and they head to Liverpool next time out! As for Manchester City, they simply weren’t good enough in this game! City drop to 5th place, and they head to Swansea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday before they host Bournemouth in what is a massive Super Sunday clash!
