With just one weekend remaining after this, Championships were up for grabs in a double-header weekend in Berlin!

Winner: Oliver Rowland

We usually start with Oliver Rowland after securing yet another win, but instead, this time we’re starting with the brand-new ABB FIA Formula E World Champion! It wasn’t an easy weekend at all, in fact yesterday was a disaster, with Rowland crashing out in a collision with Stoffel Vandoorne, and that incident itself brought him a 5-place Grid drop for today! With that, it looked again like Oliver would be aiming for damage limitation in order to give himself as big a lead as possible heading into London, but after his (closest) Championship Rival dropped back, Rowland was able to hold onto P4 to be crowned as Season 11’s Champion! It’s been a wild ride for Oliver Rowland, he struggled for a while in FE, but he’s come alive in the Gen3 Era, and he’s been by far the best driver in Formula E this season!

Loser: Pascal Wehrlein

This might seem odd, and it was certainly unexpected, but what was left of Pascal Wehrlein’s Championship defense completely fell away today! Yesterday was strong, Pascal recovered to P2 to gain 18 points on his Championship Rival, and he gained another 3 points today with a Pole Position! However, whilst the Race was looking good at one stage, Wehrlein overconsumed too much, and eventually dropped all the way down to 16th whilst Rowland wrapped up the Title! As far as Championship defences go in Formula E, Pascal’s actually been one of the best, but he still hasn’t done nearly enough to retain that Number 1 on his car!

Winner: Nick Cassidy

Let’s now talk about today’s winner, Nick Cassidy! Nick started today’s Race all the way down in P20, but he loves an energy efficient Race, and that’s exactly what today was! Because of that, Cassidy was able to charge through the field towards the end, eventually taking a rather comfortable victory! We should also acknowledge the fact that Nick scored more points than anyone this weekend, with him finishing in a really strong P5 yesterday, too!

Losers: Maserati MSG Racing

This weekend was not good for Maserati MSG Racing! Firstly, they were one of only two teams to come away from this weekend on exactly the same points total as they entered it! Secondly, yesterday the two Maserati drivers collided, and that is an absolute no-no in this sport! Also, Jake Hughes qualified 4th yesterday, and still didn’t score any points; that’s a disaster!

Winner: Felipe Drugovich

Whilst I could just only talk positively about Jaguar, we need to give a shoutout to the debuting Felipe Drugovich! Yesterday was a complete write-off for Felipe, with both a Grid and stop-and-go penalty ruining any chance of making much progress! However, in today’s Race, Drugovich showcased his quality, climbing through the field before he eventually came home in a terrific P7, bagging 6 points for Mahindra Racing! To score points in only your second E-Prix is mega stuff, Felipe Drugovich smashed it!

Losers: NEOM McLaren

In a sense, Taylor Barnard had a great weekend, bagging 20 points to climb up to third in the Championship! However, today was such a missed opportunity for NEOM McLaren, with Taylor pulling out a gap out front, only for Sam Bird to collide with Nico Muller, bringing out a Safety Car that cost Barnard dear! I’m actually very impressed that Taylor Barnard was still able to finish 6th, but yeah, a win was there today!

Winner: Mitch Evans

Right, back to talking positively about Jaguar TCS Racing! Heading into this weekend, Mitch Evans had 25 points on the board, all coming in Round 1 when he won in Sao Paulo! Now, that happened in December of last year, meaning Evans hadn’t scored a single point in 2025! However, that changed yesterday as, following a superb Pole Position, Mitch controlled the pace in difficult conditions to take his second win of the season! As for today’s Race, Evans scored great points again, finishing P5 to rise all the way up to 12th in the Standings! Still been a terrible year for the Kiwi, but this weekend was much more like it!
