Newcastle 4-3 Leeds

A 102nd-minute winner was enough for Newcastle United to earn a stunning win at the expense of a devastated Leeds United! After a slip by Malick Thiaw, Brenden Aaronson punished him perfectly to fire Leeds in front after 32 minutes! However, just 4 minutes later, Newcastle were already back on level terms through Harvey Barnes! Thiaw was then at it again, this time handling the ball inside of his own penalty area, leading to Dominic Calvert-Lewin converting his spot kick to send Leeds into the break ahead! 9 minutes into the second half, Joelinton scored to make it 2-2, before James Justin missed a great opportunity down at the other end (heading the ball onto the crossbar)! In the 79th minute, Leeds were ahead for a third time as Aaronson scored again, but it wouldn’t last long as Newcastle were awarded a penalty for a handball against Brenden Aaronson! It was Bruno Guimaraes who then stepped up and scored to equalise at the start of stoppage time! And then, in the 102nd minute, Harvey Barnes’ effort managed to find its way past Lucas Perri to seal a dramatic ending at St. James’ Park! Overall, this is a big win for Newcastle United! The Magpies rise to 6th place, and they face Bournemouth and Manchester City in home Cup ties before their next league game away at Wolves! As for Leeds United, more late goals have hurt them dearly once again! The Whites stay 16th in the table, and they head to Derby in the FA Cup on Sunday before they host Fulham next weekend!
Bournemouth 3-2 Tottenham

Antoine Semenyo bowed out of the Vitality Stadium in style by gifting AFC Bournemouth a stunning 95th-minute winner over Tottenham Hotspur! After just 5 minutes, Tottenham already had the lead as Mathys Tel found the bottom corner when he honestly had no right to! However, in the 22nd minute, Bournemouth were back on level terms thanks to a really good headed finish by Evanilson! Then, in the 36th minute, Bournemouth were in front as Eli Junior Kroupi continued his fantastic debut season! In the second half, Richarlison had a great chance to score from close range, but he could only head the ball onto the post, before Tottenham thought they were awarded a penalty after Micky van de Ven went flying! However, VAR rightly overturned the original decision, booking van de Ven for clear simulation! Anyway, in the 78th minute, Spurs would be brought back on level terms as Joao Palhinha netted with a fabulous overhead kick! Djordje Petrovic then pulled off an incredible save to stop van de Ven from winning it for Tottenham, before in the 95th minute, Bournemouth got their first winning goal since October, courtesy of none other than the departing Antoine Semenyo! Overall, AFC Bournemouth are finally back to winning ways! The Cherries remain 15th in the table, and they head to Newcastle and Brighton in their next two fixtures! As for Tottenham Hotspur, I’d start getting really worried if I was Thomas Frank! Spurs drop to 14th in the league, and their next two games are must-win against Aston Villa (FA Cup) and West Ham (Premier League)!
Burnley 2-2 Manchester United

New interim Manager Darren Fletcher wasn’t able to guide Manchester United to a win against a Relegation-threatened Burnley! After 13 minutes, Burnley already had the lead thanks to a fortunate Ayden Heaven own goal! Bashir Humphreys then pulled out a brilliant goal-line clearance to stop Matheus Cunha’s effort from going in, before Lisandro Martinez thought he’d equalised for Manchester United, only for his goal to be ruled out for a foul in the build-up! It was then Maxime Esteve’s turn to pull off a crucial goal-line clearance, before Man United were finally back on level terms just 5 minutes into the second half courtesy of Benjamin Sesko! Bruno Fernandes then had a good chance to score, but he could only smash the outside of the post, before Manchester United were now in front in the 60th minute as Sesko finished well again! However, in the 66th minute, Burnley were already back on level terms through a really great finish by Jaidon Anthony! Shea Lacey then came close to winning it for United in dramatic style, but sadly for him, his effort came crashing back off the crossbar! In the end, at least Burnley didn’t lose! The Clarets remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th), and they host Millwall on Saturday before an away trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool! As for Manchester United, this is definitely another two points dropped! United drop to 7th in the table, and they will host Brighton and Manchester City in their next 2 fixtures!
Brentford 3-0 Sunderland

After missing a decent chance earlier in the game, Igor Thiago wasn’t going to miss again as he finished brilliantly to give Brentford the lead inside half an hour! Right before halftime, Keane Lewis-Potter came close as his free-kick effort clipped the top of the crossbar, before Sunderland were awarded a penalty in the second half after Kristoffer Ajer stupidly brought down Brian Brobbey! Enzo Le Fee then stepped up to take the penalty, but his effort was absolutely horrendous as he dinked the ball straight into the hands of Caoimhin Kelleher! Then, just 5 minutes later, Brentford’s lead was doubled as Thiago scored again (after Kevin Schade initially smashed the crossbar), before Yehor Yarmoliuk added a third in the 73rd minute! Overall, Brentford’s amazing season continues! The Bees rise to 5th in the league, and they will face Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday before they head to Chelsea for their next league game! As for Sunderland AFC, that penalty miss cost them dear! The Black Cats drop to 10th in the table, and they take on Everton and Crystal Palace in their next two games!
West Ham 1-2 Nottingham Forest

A dramatic late winner completed a much-needed turnaround for Nottingham Forest as West Ham United sank further from safety! Alphonse Areola made a really good save early on to keep Neco Williams’ soaring effort out, before West Ham found themselves in front just 13 minutes in thanks to a Murillo own goal! Callum Hudson-Odoi then came close as his effort smashed the top of the crossbar, before West Ham thought their lead had doubled just 6 minutes into the second half through Crysencio Summerville! However, Summerville’s goal was disallowed for what is a rather controversial offside decision! Then, just 4 minutes later, Nottingham Forest were back on level terms as Nicolas Dominguez managed to head the ball over everyone! And then, after Forest were awarded a penalty after a collision between Areola and Morgan Gibbs-White, Gibbs-White stepped up and scored to win it for the visitors in the 89th minute! In the end, I’d be absolutely furious if I was West Ham United! The Hammers stay inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th), and they will look to get back to winning ways over their next couple of fixtures against QPR and Tottenham! As for Nottingham Forest, this is a massive 3 points for them! Forest remain 17th in the table, and they will face Wrexham and Arsenal over the next 8 days!
Fulham 2-1 Chelsea

After Andrey Santos struck the crossbar, Moises Caicedo had a great chance to score on the rebound, but his effort was saved well by Bernd Leno! Things then became an issue for Chelsea as Marc Cucurella was shown a straight red card for the denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity! Then, in the 55th minute, Fulham would find themselves in front thanks to a great headed finish by Raul Jimenez! Liam Delap then had a great chance to equalise, but he was denied by Leno, before in the 72nd minute, Delap would finish off the rebound to square the game up at 1-1! But then, in the 81st minute, Fulham’s lead was restored as Harry Wilson’s effort flew in thanks to a helpful deflection off Reece James! Overall, it’s another positive result for Fulham! The Cottagers rise to 9th in the table, and they face Middlesbrough and Leeds over the next week! As for Chelsea, it’s now 5 games without a win for them! The Blues drop to 8th place, and they take on Charlton in the FA Cup tomorrow and Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, before their next league game against Brentford!
Manchester City 1-1 Brighton

Manchester City’s tough start to 2026 continued as they got pegged back by Brighton and Hove Albion! Both Pascal Gross and Ferdi Kadioglu had good chances to put Brighton in front early on, but they just weren’t able to guide their effort past Gianluigi Donnarumma! Diego Gomez then fouled Jeremy Doku inside the penalty area, resulting in Erling Haaland stepping up and scoring to put Manchester City in front inside 41 minutes! At the start of the second half, Bernardo Silva was gifted a golden chance to double Man City’s advantage, but he could only strike the post, before Brighton were fired back on level terms courtesy of Kaoru Mitoma! Gomez then had a great chance to give Brighton the lead, but he completely made a mess of it, before Kadioglu pulled out a great goal-saving clearance to deny Haaland a second! Brighton’s defence was then making a mess of things again, handing another chance to Cherki and Haaland, but neither one of them could finish the job off! In the end, it’s another disappointing draw as far as Manchester City are concerned! City stay second in the league, and they take on both Exeter and Newcastle before they take on Manchester United next Saturday! As for Brighton and Hove Albion, this is a good point for them! The Seagulls drop to 11th in the table, however, and they face Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday, before a Monday Night Football tie with Bournemouth!
Everton 1-1 Wolves

Despite having two extra players at the end of the game, Wolverhampton Wanderers just weren’t quite good enough to break down 9-man Everton! After 17 minutes, Everton had the lead thanks to a great finish by Michael Keane! Keane then had another great chance to score from just a few yards out, but this time he could only head the ball onto the post, before Joao Gomes saw his second-half effort saved by Jordan Pickford! However, in the 69th minute, Wolves would get themselves back on level terms as Mateus Mane scored again! In the 83rd minute, Everton were down to 10-men as Michael Keane was shown a straight red card for pulling the hair of Tolu Arokodare, before the hosts soon had another player sent off as Jack Grealish was shown a second yellow card for sarcastic applause (towards the referee)! Madness from Everton! And then, in additional time at the end of the game, Pickford was forced to pull off a great save to deny a Hugo Bueno winner! In the end, Everton sort of shot themselves in the foot here! The Toffees stay 12th in the table, and they take on Sunderland and Aston Villa in their next two fixtures! As for Wolverhampton Wanderers, it’s another point for them! Wolves remain bottom of the league, and they take on “local rivals” Shrewsbury in the FA Cup tomorrow, before they host Newcastle in their next league game!
Arsenal 0-0 Liverpool

Despite being held by Liverpool, Arsenal are still in complete control when it comes to winning the Premier League this season! Conor Bradley came super close to firing Liverpool in front early on; his effort came crashing back out off the crossbar, before Declan Rice’s effort was well kept out by Alisson! Honestly, basically nothing happened in the second half except Gabriel Martinelli pushing an injured Conor Bradley off the pitch! What an idiot! In the end, this was dull from Arsenal! The Gunners remain top of the league, and they take on Portsmouth and Chelsea before their next league trip to Nottingham Forest! As for Liverpool, they’ll be satisfied with a point from this game! The Reds stay 4th in the table, and they host Barnsley and Burnley over the next week!
Crystal Palace 0-0 Aston Villa

Brennan Johnson had a great chance to score on his Selhurst Park debut, but he couldn’t guide his effort past Emi Martinez, before Maxence Lacroix pulled off a great block to deny Ollie Watkins! In the second half, a great chance fell the way of Youri Tielemans, but he poorly missed the target completely, before Lucas Digne pulled off his own great block to keep Justin Devenny’s effort out! Ollie Watkins then had a chance to win it for Villa late on, but he could only guide his headed effort onto the post! In the end, it’s another game without a win for Crystal Palace! The Eagles rise to 13th in the table, and they kick off their FA Cup defence tomorrow at Macclesfield, before they head to Sunderland for an important Premier League matchup! As for Aston Villa, they had chances to win this game! Villa stay third in the league, and they will face Tottenham and Everton in their next two matches!
