Newcastle 2-3 Brentford

Brentford continued their brilliant season with a massive away win over Newcastle United! Despite Kieran Trippier’s clear pull on the shirt of Keane Lewis-Potter, no penalty was given, before Newcastle had the lead after 24 minutes as Sven Botman managed to head home! Yoane Wissa then came close to scoring against his former club, with his effort being blocked on the line by Vitaly Janelt, before Brentford were then back on level terms thanks to a great headed finish by Janelt! Then, after the ball struck the arm of Jacob Murphy, Igor Thiago stepped up and scored from the penalty spot to send Brentford into the break ahead! In the 79th minute, after Michael Kayode gave away a penalty, Bruno Guimaraes converted from 12 yards out to get the game back on level terms! But then, in the 85th minute, Brentford were gifted a winner as Dango Ouattara fired home with a shot that probably should’ve been kept out by Nick Pope! In the end, this is a poor result for Newcastle United! The Magpies drop to 12th in the table, and they head to Tottenham tomorrow! As for Brentford, what a win for them! The Bees remain 7th in the league, and they’ll host Arsenal in a massive Thursday Night Football clash next time out!
Leeds 3-1 Nottingham Forest

Leeds United breezed past Nottingham Forest to boost their survival chances! Karl Darlow managed to pull off a good save early on to keep Nicolas Dominguez’s effort out, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin smashed the crossbar! However, just a couple of minutes later, Leeds had the lead as Jayden Bogle scored to make it 1-0 after 26! What a great pass from Ilia Gruev! Then, just 4 minutes later, Leeds’ lead was doubled courtesy of Noah Okafor! 4 minutes into the second half, it was 3-0 as Dominic Calvert-Lewin finally got his goal, before Nottingham Forest were at least able to get one back in the 86th minute through a Lorenzo Lucca header! Forest stay 17th in the table, and they’ll host Wolves in what is a huge game next time out!

Jose Sa then made a good save to keep Malo Gusto’s effort out, before Chelsea were awarded another penalty after another stupid foul, this time by Yerson Mosquera! Palmer successfully stepped up and scored for a second time in the game, before Cole Palmer completed a first-half hat-trick to make it 3-0 after just 38 minutes! In the second half, Mateus Mane was unlucky as his effort struck the post, before Wolves were at least able to get one back through Tolu Arokodare! In the end, Wolverhampton Wanderers are just waiting for this horror season to end! Wolves remain bottom of the league, and they’ll head to Nottingham Forest next time out! As for Chelsea, Liam Rosenior’s perfect Premier League start continues! The Blues remain in 5th place, and they host Leeds tomorrow!
Arsenal 3-0 Sunderland

After Declan Rice came close to firing Arsenal ahead at the half-hour mark, Arsenal would have the lead heading into halftime courtesy of Martin Zubimendi! This is a great finish! Kai Harvertz then missed a great chance to make it 2-0 right on halftime, but he failed to hit the target, before Arsenal’s lead was then doubled in the 66th minute through Viktor Gyokeres! And then, in the 93rd minute, Gyokeres tapped home into an empty net to seal all 3 points for the league leaders! Overall, this was pretty straightforward for Arsenal! The Gunners remain top of the league (by 6 points), and their next game feels like a big one away at Brentford on Thursday! As for Sunderland AFC, they simply didn’t do enough to get anything from this game! The Black Cats drop to 9th in the table, and they’ll host Liverpool next time out!
Liverpool 1-2 Manchester City

A dramatic late turn around at Anfield resulted in Manchester City keeping their Title hopes alive with a massive away win over Liverpool! Erling Haaland had a decent chance to put Manchester City ahead inside 2 minutes, only to be denied by Alisson, before Hugo Ekitike missed a golden opportunity to head Liverpool in front in the second half! However, in the 74th minute, Liverpool would find themselves in front thanks to an absolute thunderbolt of a strike by Dominik Szoboszlai! This goal is absolutely insane! However, in the 84th minute, Manchester City would get themselves back on level terms courtesy of Bernardo Silva’s first league goal of the season! And then, after Alisson stupidly wiped out Matheus Nunes, Erling Haaland stepped up and scored the biggest penalty of his career to keep Man City in the Title Race! Gianluigi Donnarumma then pulled off an incredible save to keep Alexis Mac Allister’s deflected effort out, before Rayan Cherki thought he’d made it 3-1 for City, only for VAR to both overturn the goal and show Dominik Szoboszlai a straight red card! This was all a bit of a mess! In the end, this feels like a costly blow for Liverpool! The Reds stay 6th in the table, and their next game is a big one away at Sunderland! As for Manchester City, this is absolutely massive! City remain second in the league, and they’ll host Fulham next time out!
Fulham 1-2 Everton

Jake O’Brien had a good chance to give Everton the lead early on, but he could only guide his headed effort onto the woodwork, before Fulham would have the lead in the 18th minute thanks to a fortunate own goal by Vitaliy Mykolenko! This is doubly unlucky as Jordan Pickford’s initial save is really good! Pickford then managed to pull off another strong save, this time to deny Samuel Chukwueze, before Emile Smith Rowe smashed the crossbar! Raul Jimenez then had a golden chance to double Fulham’s lead, but he shockingly managed to miss the target completely, before Chukwueze smashed the crossbar as the hosts missed again! In the second half, Raul Jimenez had another great chance, which he somehow failed to miss, before Everton punished them in the 75th minute through Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall! Bernd Leno really should’ve kept this one out! And then, in the 83rd minute, Everton turned it around as Leno decided to punch the ball into his own net! In the 26th minute, West Ham’s lead was doubled as Valentin Castellanos headed home after a brilliant ball in from Malick Diouf! Both of these goals were superb! Burnley then created a couple of chances to end the first half, but they weren’t able to score with either of them, before Mads Hermansen made a couple of good saves in the second half! In the end, Burnley are so poor, and it’s usually because of the same things every week! The Clarets stay inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th), and they’ll head to Crystal Palace next time out! As for West Ham United, this is a big win for them! The Hammers remain inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th), and they host Manchester United tomorrow in what feels like a big game for both sides!

In the 22nd minute, it was Aston Villa who found themselves in front as Morgan Rogers fired home from close range! Evanilson then had another chance on the rebound, only for his effort to again be kept out by Martinez, before Rayan’s headed effort hit the bar and went over! However, 10 minutes into the second half, Bournemouth were back on level terms as Rayan did manage to score on his debut at the Vitality! Matty Cash then came close to firing Villa back in front; his effort was saved well by Djordje Petrovic, before Emi Martinez made a pair of great saves to deny Bournemouth a winning goal! In the end, AFC Bournemouth probably should’ve won this game! The Cherries rise to 11th in the table, and their next game is a big one away at Everton tomorrow! As for Aston Villa, they were fortunate to get anything from this game! Villa stay third in the league, and they’ll host Brighton next time out!
