Calvin Bassey was perhaps slightly fortunate not to give a penalty away after the ball struck his trailing arm, before Zian Flemming had a great chance to give Burnley the lead, only to head the ball straight at Bernd Leno! However, in the 60th minute, Burnley would find themselves in front as Flemming would get his goal! Just 7 minutes later, though, Fulham were already back on level terms as Joshua King took advantage of a poor goalkeeping error by Martin Dubravka! What was the Goalie doing?! In the 73rd minute, Fulham’s comeback was complete courtesy of Harry Wilson, before Josh Laurent missed a golden opportunity to equalise straight away for Burnley, blasting his close-range effort over the crossbar! Speaking of Laurent, he got himself sent off in stoppage time as Raul Jimenez took advantage to convert his 95th-minute penalty! Overall, this win keeps Fulham right in European contention! The Cottagers rise to 9th place, and they’ll head to Liverpool next time out! As for Burnley, Relegation is looking more and more likely with every passing weekend! The Clarets stay inside the Relegation Zone (in 19th), and their next game sees them host Brighton in 3 weeks’ time!

Djordje Petrovic pulled off a great save in the first half to keep Bruno Fernandes’ volleyed effort out, only for Manchester United to be awarded a penalty 16 minutes into the second half due to Alex Jimenez stupidly pulling back Matheus Cunha! Bruno Fernandes then stepped up and scored to put Man United in front, only for Ryan Christie to equalise 6 minutes later! Man United wanted another penalty during all of this, but it wasn’t given! In the 71st minute, United were back ahead courtesy of a James Hill own-goal, before Alex Scott came close as he wacked the woodwork with a thunderous effort! And then, in the 81st minute, after Harry Maguire was sent off for the denial of a clear goal-scoring opportunity, Junior Kroupi coolly converted from 12 yards out to earn Bournemouth a point! In the end, it’s yet another draw for AFC Bournemouth! The Cherries actually drop to 13th in the table, and they’ll head to Arsenal next time out! As for Manchester United, they weren’t at all happy with the referees! United remain third in the league, and their next game is 3 weeks’ today at home against Leeds!

Tottenham Hotspur’s Relegation worries continue to grow as Nottingham Forest earned a thumping victory in the Race for Survival! Tottenham came close to taking the lead early on as Igor Jesus headed the ball onto his own crossbar, before Jesus would head home at the right end of the pitch to give Nottingham Forest the lead right on halftime! Tottenham then came close to equalising in stoppage time, with Matz Sels tipping Mathys Tel’s effort onto the crossbar, before Neco Williams headed the ball straight at Guglielmo Vicario! In the 62nd minute, Forest’s lead was doubled as Morgan Gibbs-White scored following a poor bit of goalkeeping by Vicario! And then, in the 87th minute, Taiwo Awoniyi added a third to compound Spurs’ misery! In the end, Tottenham Hotspur are in serious, serious trouble now! Spurs drop to 17th in the table, and they’ll return to action with an away trip to Sunderland! As for Nottingham Forest, what a win! Forest rise to 16th place, and they’ll face Porto in the Europa League in their next game before a big home game against Aston Villa!

Everton’s push for European Football continues to grow stronger and stronger as Chelsea’s woes show no signs of slowing down! Robert Sanchez barely got away with a stupid error in the first half, before Everton would find themselves in front in the 33rd minute through Beto! Everything about this goal was great! Jordan Pickford then pulled out a big save to keep Enzo Fernandez’s equalising effort out, before Pickford denied Fernandez again (in the second half)! In the 62nd minute, Everton’s lead was doubled as Beto scored again following a poor bit of goalkeeping by Sanchez! And then, in the 76th minute, Iliman Ndiaye finished the game off with a wonderful top-corner finish! Overall, what a great performance from Everton! The Toffees remain 8th in the table, and their next game is a massive one away at Brentford! As for Chelsea, they’re a mess right now! The Blues stay 6th in the league, and their next two games are against Port Vale and Manchester City!

A 90th-minute winner was enough for Sunderland AFC to complete a famous double over their biggest rivals, Newcastle United! Anthony Elanga had a decent opportunity early on, but he couldn’t keep his headed effort down, before Newcastle found themselves in front inside 10 minutes through Anthony Gordon! What a horrid error by Luke O’Nien! Elanga then fired an effort into the side-netting, before Sven Botman struck the post just before halftime! In the 57th minute, Sunderland were back on level terms as Chemsdine Talbi was eventually able to get the ball over the line! Newcastle then had a goal ruled out for offside, before in the 90th minute, Brian Brobbey scored to earn a dramatic late winner for the visitors! In the end, this is a bit of a disaster for Newcastle United! The Magpies drop to 12th in the table, and their next game sees them head to Crystal Palace in three weeks’ time! As for Sunderland AFC, what a special day this is for everyone involved with the club! The Black Cats rise to 11th place, and they’ll host Tottenham next time out!

Brighton 2-1 Liverpool

After 14 minutes, Brighton found themselves in front as Danny Welbeck headed home from close range! Cody Gakpo then missed a good opportunity to equalise just moments later, before Liverpool were back on level terms in the 30th minute as Milos Kerkez took advantage of a poor back pass by Lewis Dunk! However, in the 56th minute, Brighton were back in front as Welbeck scored again! Curtis Jones then forced Bart Verbruggen into making a good save, before Jack Hinshelwood couldn’t quite get a clean connection to finish the game off! Overall, of course Brighton and Hove Albion won this game! The Seagulls rise to 10th in the table, and they’ll head to Burnley next time out! As for Liverpool, their league form is really poor! The Reds stay 5th in the league, and they return from the International Break to face Manchester City (in the FA Cup), PSG (in the Champions League), and Fulham (in the Premier League)!

Aston Villa 2-0 West Ham

Aston Villa picked up a massive 3 points in their fight for Champions League Football as West Ham United remain in the Relegation Zone! After coming close on multiple occasions early in this match, Aston Villa would find themselves in front inside 15 minutes through John McGinn! Mads Hermansen then made a good save to stop Ollie Watkins from making it 2-0, before Villa’s penalty call was overturned by VAR! Konstantinos Mavropanos was then on the line to pull out a perfect goal-saving block, before in the 68th minute, Villa would finally have their second goal of the game courtesy of Ollie Watkins! Hermansen should’ve done a lot better here! Overall, Aston Villa needed this! Villa remain 4th in the league, and they’ll return to action with an away trip to Bologna before they head to Nottingham Forest! As for West Ham United, they didn’t do anything in this game! The Hammers stay inside the Relegation Zone (in 18th), and their next two games are both important home ties against Leeds (FA Cup) and Wolves (Premier League)!

Leeds 0-0 Brentford

Igor Thiago had a decent opportunity early on, but he poorly dragged the ball well off target, before Ethan Ampadu forced a pretty straightforward save out of Caoimhin Kelleher! Honestly, this game was absolutely abysmal; nothing happened! In the end, I guess this is a decent point for Leeds United! The Whites remain 15th in the table, and they’ll head to West Ham for an FA Cup Quarter-Final matchup after the International Break before they take on Manchester United in their next league game! As for Brentford, this was a poor performance! The Bees stay 7th, and they’ll host Everton next time out!
