2026/27 Premier League Season Preview

After a fantastic summer of World Cup action, club football returns to the main stage as we move closer and closer to the start of another Premier League season! Arsenal enter as reigning Champions for the first time since 2004, whilst Coventry, Ipswich, and Hull return to the Premier League after very successful Championship campaigns! Bournemouth, Sunderland, Brighton, and Crystal Palace will all have to learn how to balance league and European commitments, whilst the same cannot be said for the likes of” so-called big-hitters” Chelsea, Newcastle, and Tottenham! 9 of the 20 teams also enter the new season with a change of manager, including Andoni Iraola joining Liverpool after a strong run with Bournemouth, whilst Oliver Glasner has switched from Crystal Palace to Nottingham Forest! Oh, and one last thing: there will be no Pep Guardiola in the league for the first time in 10 years, with Enzo Maresca taking the helm at Manchester City! Right, let’s start with the Champions!

Arsenal

It took them a while, but Arsenal finally re-enter a new Premier League Season as the reigning Champions! After years of coming up short, Arsenal finally got over the line in May, recapturing the Premier League Title in a season where they also made the Champions League and Carabao Cup Final! The big question surrounding Arsenal heading into the new season is: now that they’ve finally won under Mikel Arteta, is this the start of a dominant run?! When it comes to improving their team, The Gunners have spent £34 million to sign Christos Tzolis (Winger) from Club Brugge, and £75 million to buy Bruno Guimaraes (Midfielder) from Newcastle! Piero Hincapie has also signed a permanent deal (for £34 million) after a successful loan stint! In terms of people who have left, Christian Norgaard and Leandro Trossard are the most notable names so far! When it comes to their squad, Arsenal continue to boast one of the best in the league, including David Raya, Gabriel, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, and Bukayo Saka! At the end of the day, it makes sense that Arsenal would enter the new season as the favourites to win the Premier League again, but I’d definitely argue that they’re going to need more points than what won it for them last season!

Aston Villa

Aston Villa are looking to build off a fantastic 2025/26 campaign! After narrowly missing out the season before, Aston Villa booked their ticket back to the Champions League with a Top 4 finish, as well as winning the Europa League! The big question surrounding Aston Villa heading into the new season is whether they can qualify for the Champions League for a second straight year for the first time in their history?! When it comes to improving their team, Villa have brought in Premier League experience in the form of Alejandro Garnacho (from Chelsea) and Joao Gomes (from Wolves), whilst the signing of young Swiss superstar Johan Manzambi (for £52 million) looks to be a great bit of business based on his performances at the World Cup! In terms of people who have left, losing Youri Tielemans and Morgan Rogers isn’t ideal at all, but at least they received £153 million between the two of them! Also, Lucas Digne has moved to PSG for £6 million! When it comes to their squad, Emi Martinez remains one of the best goalkeepers in the world, whilst John McGinn and Ollie Watkins remain key parts of this team! At the end of the day, Aston Villa will aim to remain a Top 4 team come next May, but given the players that they’ve lost, it’s going to be tough!

Bournemouth

After a successful run under Andoni Iraola, AFC Bournemouth are hoping for more of the same now that Marco Rose has arrived! Bournemouth had their greatest ever season last time out, with a 6th place finish earning them their first-ever spot in Europe as they ended the season on an 18-game unbeaten league run (despite losing Antoine Semenyo in January)! The big question surrounding Bournemouth heading into the new season is whether or not they’re going to be able to cope with a number of big changes this season? When it comes to improving their team, The Cherries have signed Antonio Silva (Defender) from Benfica for £22 million, whilst they’ve also brought in Alvaro Rodriguez (Striker from Elche) and Juanlu Sanchez (Full-Back from Sevilla)! In terms of people who have left, Marcos Senesi leaving at the end of his contract wasn’t ideal, with Enes Unal also leaving for free, whilst Alex Jimenez has moved on loan to Fiorentina! When it comes to their squad, it’s all about the youth, with Adrien Truffert, James Hill, Alex Scott, Rayan, and Junior Kroupi all proving to be very promising! At the end of the day, having European nights at the Vitality is going to be a sight to behold, but Marco Rose has a big job on his hands to deliver at AFC Bournemouth with as much success as his predecessor did!

Brentford

After being less than a point off qualifying for Europe last season, can Brentford finally take the next step in 2027? A lot of people had Brentford as a Relegation favourite at the start of last season after losing so many key personnel, so it only makes a 9th-place finish all the more impressive! The big question surrounding Brentford heading into the new season is whether or not Keith Andrews’ side can build on last year’s positive season, or whether they’re about to regress! When it comes to improving their team, The Bees have spent a good amount of money on new recruits, with Lens Midfielder Mamadou Sangare signing for a record £41 million, whilst Jannik Schuster (Defender from RB Salzburg), Jaidon Anthony (Winger from Burnley), and Callum Wilson have all also joined the club! In terms of people who have left, Jordan Henderson has left after one year in West London (at least in red)! When it comes to their squad, Brentford boast a number of good full-backs, but their real quality comes with Kevin Schade, Dango Ouattara, and breakout talent Igor Thiago in the front 3! At the end of the day, Brentford have good reason to believe that they’re going to do well again this year, but can they continue to punch above their weight?

Brighton

Brighton and Hove Albion enter their 125th season back in Europe! Despite being incredibly up-and-down for a lot of last season, an 8th-place finish was enough for Brighton to book their ticket to the UEFA Conference League! The big question surrounding Brighton heading into the new season is whether they can push on for a Top 6 finish this time around? When it comes to improving their team, The Seagulls have spent over £100 million to bring in the likes of Luka Vuskovic (Defender from Tottenham), Pascal Struijk (Defender from Leeds), Costinha (Full-Back from Olympiacos), and Zadok Yohanna (Winger from AIK)! In terms of people who have left, Jan Paul Van Hecke, Joel Veltman, and Danny Welbeck are all disappointing losses! When it comes to their squad, Bart Verbruggen, Pascal Gross, Yasin Ayari, and Kaoru Mitoma stand out as their best players! At the end of the day, Brighton and Hove Albion’s ceiling has always been very high, but it’s whether they can find that level on a consistent basis or not!

Chelsea

After appearing in the league as a player, Xabi Alonso returns to the Premier League as Chelsea’s latest manager! After coming into the season as Club World Champions, Chelsea completely flopped, with both Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior departing as they barely scraped a Top 10 finish! The big question surrounding Chelsea heading into the new season is just how good is Xabi Alonso, and can he take advantage of no European Football in a similar way to Antonio Conte 10 years ago? When it comes to improving their team, The Blues have spent a whopping £329 million on 9 players, including £117 million on Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, £52 million on Crystal Palace’s Maxence Lacroix, and £40 million on Sporting CP Winger Geovany Quenda, whilst they’ve also added experience to their ranks in the form of Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson! In terms of people who have left, Marc Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, and Andrey Santos have all departed for a good chunk of money, whilst Alejandro Garnacho has joined Villa on loan! When it comes to their squad, Reece James, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer, and Joao Pedro all still stand out as world-class talent! At the end of the day, Chelsea have both a squad and a manager capable of competing in major competitions, but it feels like we’ve been saying that for years now (and they’ve only finished in the Top 4 once since 2022)!

Coventry

9 seasons after competing in League 2, Coventry City are ready to tackle the Premier League again! Coventry were the dominant force in the Championship last season, winning the league by 11 points as they booked their Premier League return for the first time in 25 years! The big question surrounding Coventry heading into the new season is: are they able to adapt to compete in the Premier League, and if they are, can they stay in it? When it comes to improving their team, The Sky Blues have permanently signed Carl Rushworth (Goalkeeper) and Frank Onyeka (Midfielder) after positive loan spells, whilst Aurele Amenda (Defender from Frankfurt), Loum Tchaouna (Winger from Burnley), and Caleb Yirenkyi (Midfielder from Nordsjaelland) will be aiming to help keep this team in the league! In terms of people who have left, only Jahnoah Markelo has left for any sort of money (£4.4m), but it’s not exactly like he was an important part of this team! When it comes to their squad, the back 4 of Jay Dasilva, Bobby Thomas, Liam Kitching, and Milan van Ewijk is good; Jack Rudoni, Matt Grimes, and Victor Torp are all coming off the back of positive seasons in the Championship, whilst Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Ephron Mason-Clark, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Ellis Siumms, and Haji Wright are all attacking options that I quite like! At the end of the day, I rate Coventry City as a football team, and I also rate Frank Lampard as a manager! That’s usually a bit of a death wish for these newly promoted teams, but they’ve got enough quality to be in with a shout of survival!

Crystal Palace

The most consistent Premier League team, Crystal Palace, enter the 2026/27 Season with a new manager in charge! Whilst a 15th-place finish in the league was nothing to write home about, Crystal Palace did actually manage to lift two trophies in their final season under Oliver Glasner, with them lifting both the Community Shield (which for Palace is definitely a trophy that matters) and the UEFA Conference League trophy! The big question surrounding Crystal Palace heading into the new season is: can Pierre Sage continue to build off Glasner’s recent success? When it comes to improving their team, The Eagles are yet to spend any transfer money on new players, with both Oscar Mingueza (Spanish Winger) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (Japanese Defender) signing contracts after leaving Celta Vigo and Ajax respectively, whilst Dwight McNeil has arrived from Everton as part of a swap deal! In terms of people who have left, Brennan Johnson is the player to go the other way, with Daichi Kamada also leaving at the end of his contract, whilst Maxence Lacroix has moved to Chelsea for £52 million (they were two important players for Palace last season)! When it comes to their squad, it’s crucial for Palace to keep hold of the likes of Dean Henderson, Tyrick Mitchell, Daniel Munoz, Adam Wharton, Ismaila Sarr, and Jean-Philippe Mateta, as the squad depth isn’t particularly strong (particularly at centre-half)! At the end of the day, Pierre Sage did a brilliant job with guiding Lens to a historic season last time out in France, but I think it’s fair to say that these next 12 months are going to be a lot harder (although he will at least get to play Europa League Football)!

Everton

With them now having played a full season in their new ground, Everton have to start kicking on under David Moyes (or else)! Everton were pretty good for parts of last season, but a 7-game winless run to end the season meant they missed out on European Football by just 4 points! The big question surrounding Everton heading into the new season is when are they going to start playing like a big club again?! When it comes to improving their team, Tyrique George and Merlin Rohl have signed permanent deals with the club, Brennan Johnson has arrived as part of a swap deal with Crystal Palace, whilst The Toffees’ midfield looks to have been bolstered with the signings of Hayden Hackney (from Middlesbrough) and Christian Norgaard (from Arsenal)! In terms of people who have left, experienced hands Idrissa Gana Gueye and Seamus Coleman have both departed at the end of their contracts, whilst Dwight McNeil has moved to Palace! When it comes to their squad, Jordan Pickford, James Tarkowski, and Jarrad Branthwaite will all be important parts of keeping goals out, whilst James Garner, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Iliman Ndiaye are the most likely players to cause an impact! At the end of the day, Everton fans are hungry; they haven’t tasted any type of silverware since 1995, whilst their last Top 10 league finish was during the Covid season (of 2020/21)! The Toffees are supposed to be good, so when are they going to start acting as such?!

Fulham

My favourite friends over at Fulham have decided to go big by bringing in former Real Madrid Manager Alvaro Arbeloa to replace Marco Silva! Fulham’s season last year went exactly how all of their recent seasons have gone; they look capable of beating anyone, but then they go and mess things up and miss out on European Football entirely (they finished 11th, 2 points off 7th)! The big question surrounding Fulham heading into the new season is: with the departure of popular manager Marco Silva (who’s gone to manage Benfica), can Alvaro Arbeloa finally get them over the line and into Europe?! When it comes to improving their team, The Cottagers have gone for young prospects from big clubs, signing striker Jonah Kusi-Asare from Bayern Munich, whilst they’ve spent a combined total of £43 million to bring in Real Madrid duo Cesar Palacios and Gonzalo Garcia! They’ve also spent £30 million to bring in Southampton Midfielder Shea Charles (who is only 22)! In terms of people who have left, Issa Diop and Sasa Lukic have both moved to Ipswich, whilst losing Harry Wilson and Raul Jimenez for free isn’t exactly ideal! When it comes to their squad, full-backs Antonee Robinson and Kenny Tete are both pretty good, whilst Alex Iwobi and Oscar Bobb are probably the best attacking options that they have left (and perhaps Emile Smith Rowe)! At the end of the day, I quite like the move to bring in Alvaro Arbeloa; that guy is a proven winner who should help this team move forward! The worry I have with Fulham is that not only was Marco Silva a great coach, but this team feels worse than what it did before the end of last season!

Hull

Hull City: welcome back to the Premier League! After only securing a spot in the Playoffs on the final day, Hull dealt with the chaos of last season’s Championship Playoffs perfectly to book their return to the Premier League, just 12 months after surviving Relegation to League 1 on the final day of the 2024/25 season! The big question surrounding Hull heading into the new season is: are they any good, or was last year just a fairy-tale story? When it comes to improving their team, The Tigers have spent around £72 million to bring in 10 players, including £20 million on Olympiacos Goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis (after already signing Jack Butland at the start of July), £22 million on Rayo Vallecano Defender Nobel Mendy, whilst they potentially have a brand-new midfield in the form of Norway’s Jens Hjerto-Dahl (from Tromso), Ecuador’s Oscar Zambrano (from Maribor), and Japan’s Hidemasa Morita (from Sporting CP)! It’s also worth mentioning that 24-year-old signing Elliot Stroud played in all 5 of Sweden’s World Cup games this past summer! In terms of people who have left, last year’s starting Goalkeeper Ivor Pandur has moved to Rangers, whilst Kyle Joseph has departed to Middlesbrough after appearing in 46 of Hull’s 49 Championship games last season! When it comes to their squad, both Matt Targett and Charlie Hughes are key to this side, whilst Matt Crooks and Oli McBurnie are probably their two standout players! At the end of the day, the fact that Hull City are back in the Premier League this season is pretty remarkable, but Sergej Jakirovic has a tough task on his hands to keep The Tigers from not going straight back down!

Ipswich

2 years after I said that Ipswich Town are in the Premier League for the first time in my lifetime, they’re back! Ipswich did exactly what they set out to do last year: get promoted straight back up from the Championship, but any future success will have to come without Kieran McKenna! The big question surrounding Ipswich Town heading into the new season is not only if they’re more prepared than they were the last time that they were in the Premier League, but perhaps more importantly, just how big of a loss is McKenna? When it comes to improving their team, The Tractor Boys have spent over £100 million on 10 new players, including Fulham duo Issa Diop and Sasa Lukic, Burnley Midfielder Florentino, Leicester Winger Abdul Fatawu, and strikers Emersonn (from Toulouse) and Daizen Maeda (from Celtic)! In terms of people who have left, Wes Burns and Ashley Young are the two most notable names from last year’s squad (although they didn’t even feature in half of their Championship matches), whilst they were able to sell Goalkeeper Arijanet Muric for £6 million (after playing on loan at Sassuolo last season)! When it comes to their squad, Leif Davis, Jacob Greaves, Dara O’Shea, Jack Taylor, George Hirst, and Jack Clarke all remain from their previous Premier League campaign, whilst you can throw in Cedric Kipre and Azor Matusiwa as important players who signed for the club on their return to the Championship! At the end of the day, Ipswich Town very much approached their last Premier League campaign as a learning year, with them aiming to kick on and finish higher up the table when they returned (which they did immediately)! However, that was with Kieran McKenna at the helm, and let’s be honest, it’s not like Gary O’Neil has set the world on fire as a manager so far!

Leeds

After finally surviving the drop as a Premier League Manager last season, Daniel Farke is hoping for more success with Leeds United! Despite being a team tipped to go straight back down, Leeds bucked the trend of recent Championship Champions getting relegated in their first season back in the Premier League, finishing in a positive 14th place (with 47 points to their name)! The big question surrounding Leeds United heading into the new season is whether or not they can build on last year’s positivity? When it comes to improving their team, The Whites have splashed a combined £74 million on Goalkeeper James Trafford (from Manchester City) and Defender Tarik Muharemovic (from Sassuolo), whilst the free transfer signing of Harry Wilson looks to be one of the best pieces of business by any team this summer! In terms of people who have left, Karl Darlow has departed to Manchester United, whilst Pascal Struijk has been sold to Brighton for around £20 million! When it comes to their squad, the Welsh contingent of Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, and Daniel James has only been bolstered by the arrival of Harry Wilson, whilst Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor will remain key goalscorers! At the end of the day, I think the transfer business that Leeds United have done is pretty strong; I can’t see them being in Relegation threat at all!

Liverpool

Move aside, Arne Slot: Andoni Iraola is in charge of Liverpool now! Last year was a complete failure for Liverpool; they spent a massive amount of money as the reigning Champions, only to flop to a 5th-place finish (losing 12 games)! The big question surrounding Liverpool heading into the new season is: can Andoni Iraola fix large problems on by far his biggest stage to date? When it comes to improving their team, The Reds have spent around £90 million on Osasuna Winger Victor Munoz, and Rennes Defender Jeremy Jacquet (both guys are under the age of 23)! Ronald Araujo has also joined from Barcelona on a season-long loan! In terms of people who have left, Mohamed Salah feels almost irreplaceable, whilst Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate have also departed at the end of their contracts! When it comes to their squad, Alisson in goal, Virgil van Dijk at the back, Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, and Alexis Mac Allister in midfield, and Florian Wirtz, Cody Gakpo, Hugo Ekitike, and Alexander Isak in the attacking third all prove that Liverpool have a squad capable of winning the Premier League! At the end of the day, we thought that last year, and it’s going to be really intriguing to see how Andoni Iraola performs given the greatness he achieved at Bournemouth! As we well know, success doesn’t always translate when moving to a big club!

Manchester City

Replacing one of the greatest managers ever, Enzo Maresca is looking to make an immediate impact as he returns to Manchester City! Last year was relatively successful in the grand scheme of things, with Manchester City accompanying a second-place finish in the league with a domestic cup double! The big question surrounding Manchester City heading into the new season is: how are they going to perform without Pep Guardiola in the dugout? When it comes to improving their team, Man City have splashed £116 million to sign England Midfielder Elliot Anderson (from Nottingham Forest), whilst Gerónimo Rulli will serve as the new backup keeper after signing from Marseille (for a fee of just £1.7m)! In terms of people who have left, treble-winning players Bernardo Silva, John Stones, and Nathan Ake have all departed the club, with backup keeper James Trafford moving to Leeds (for £40m), whilst Rodri looks increasingly likely to leave the Etihad for a move back to Spain! When it comes to their squad, they have one of the best goalkeepers in the world in Gianluigi Donnarumma, world-class defenders in Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi, and Josko Gvardiol, Phil Foden in midfield, a potential front-three of Jeremy Doku, Antoine Semenyo, and Erling Haaland, and we can’t forget breakout talents such as Nico O’Reilly, Abdukodir Khusanov, and Rayan Cherki! At the end of the day, Manchester City are a fascinating team to keep an eye on in the 2026/27 season; this year could go a number of different ways for them!

Manchester United

Michael Carrick is set for his first full season in charge at Manchester United after proving to be a positive replacement for Ruben Amorim! After a difficult first half of the season under Amorim, Carrick proved to be a great appointment, guiding Manchester United all the way up to third with the best form of anyone in the second half of the season! The big question surrounding Manchester United heading into the new season is: can they continue to build now that Michael Carrick is set for a full season in charge (as long as things go to plan)? When it comes to improving their team, Man United have spent £83 million to bolster their midfield in the form of Aston Villa’s Youri Tielemans and Chelsea’s Andrey Santos, whilst Karl Darlow has signed as a potential backup Goalkeeper! In terms of people who have left, Casemiro is the only key player to depart! When it comes to their squad, Bruno Fernandes is United’s absolute superstar, whilst Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Bryan Mbeumo all scored 10 goals plus in the league last season! At the end of the day, if Manchester United’s front three can continue to score regular goals, United can be dangerous against absolutely everyone!

Newcastle

Newcastle United need to re-find themselves after a poor final season under Eddie Howe! After starting the season playing Champions League Football, Newcastle flopped to a 12th-place finish, with them closer in points to the Relegation Zone than the Top 5 again! The big question surrounding Newcastle heading into the new season is: are they going to fare any better under new manager Matthias Jaissle? When it comes to improving their team, The Magpies have spent over £136 million on 5 players so far, including Winger Bazoumana Traore (for £42.8m from Hoffenheim), Midfielder Aladji Bamba (for £30m from Monaco), and Goalkeeper Lukas Hornicek (£25.7m from Braga)! In terms of people who have left, around £237 million has been made off the sales of Anthony Gordon (to Barcelona), Sandro Tonali (to Tottenham), and Bruno Guimaraes (to Arsenal), whilst Kieran Trippier also departed on a free transfer to Wolves! When it comes to their squad, Sven Botman and Malick Thiaw are still very good defenders; Harvey Barnes, Joelinton, and Nick Woltemade will all be important, whilst there are good players in Yoane Wissa and Anthony Elanga (if they can unlock it)! At the end of the day, Newcastle United have lost a lot of the key personnel that got them back in the Champions League to begin with; the positive is that at least their expectations are incredibly low!

Nottingham Forest

Having 4 managers last year clearly wasn’t enough for Nottingham Forest as they’ve dumped Vitor Pereira for former Crystal Palace Manager Oliver Glasner! After a brilliant 7th-place finish the season prior, a fallout with the owner meant Nuno Espírito Santo was quickly out of a job, whilst Nottingham Forest would eventually slump to 16th after Ange Postecoglou, Sean Dyche, and Vitor Pereira all appeared in the dugout! The big question surrounding Nottingham Forest heading into the new season is: can Oliver Glasner achieve more success with a healthier budget than what he had in South London, or are they destined for a Relegation scrap? When it comes to improving their team, Midfielder Xaver Schlager has signed for free from RB Leipzig, whilst Forest have spent £34 million on Sporting CP Defender Ousmane Diomande! In terms of people who have left, Elliot Anderson has left for a club-record £116 million to Manchester City! When it comes to their squad, Neco Williams and Ola Aina are strong full-backs, whilst Morgan Gibbs-White is clearly their best player! At the end of the day, I’m sort of confused why Oliver Glasner decided to join Nottingham Forest; they feel like one of the weakest teams in the entire league, but maybe they’ll surprise us (just like they did two years ago)!

Sunderland

Sunderland AFC defied all of the odds last season; can they do it again? After entering last season as heavy Relegation favourites, Sunderland stunned everyone to not just stay up but qualify for Europa League Football with a 7th-place finish! The big question surrounding Sunderland heading into the new season is how much second-season recession is going to hit them, particularly with their added European responsibilities! When it comes to improving their team, The Black Cats have currently only brought in Thomas Meunier (from Lille), but at least he was free! In terms of people who have left, 7 players have departed, with Eliezer Mayenda moving to Rennes for around £22 million! When it comes to their squad, Robin Roefs broke out in goal last year, Nordi Mukiele and Enzo Le Fee were good, whilst Granit Xhaka was crucial to their success! At the end of the day, I don’t think people should just expect Sunderland AFC to plummet down the table just because they’re in Europe, but that doesn’t mean that this season is going to be straightforward (because it definitely won’t be)!

Tottenham

We end this Premier League Season Preview on a team that barely even made it onto this list; Tottenham Hotspur! Tottenham were absolutely horrendous last season, finishing 17th for the second-straight season, albeit this time an awful lot more stressfully as Roberto De Zerbi managed to narrowly guide this team away from what would’ve been a historic Relegation! The big question surrounding Tottenham heading into the new season is: can De Zerbi turn this team back into a European-contending outfit after two shambolic seasons?! When it comes to improving their team, Spurs have splashed £230 million on the signings of Midfielders Sandro Tonali (from Newcastle) and Mateus Fernandes (from West Ham), as well as Defender Jan Paul van Hecke (from Brighton), whilst they’ve also brought in Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, and Martin Dubravka on free transfers! In terms of people who have left, Defender Luka Vuskovic has moved to Brighton for £46 million, despite never playing a game for the club (he spent last year on loan at Hamburg), whilst former Seagulls player Yves Bissouma has left on a free transfer after a tough stint in London! When it comes to their squad, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Pedro Porro, and Rodrigo Bentancur are all crucial parts of this Tottenham team, whilst James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Mohammed Kudus are looking to bounce back after career-derailing injuries! At the end of the day, Tottenham Hotspur have brought in enough good players to the point where my expectations for them are much higher than I had 12 months ago (I predicted them to finish 14th)!
